Steven Goldstein, the former-Democrat/LGBTQ-activist executive director of something called the Anne Frank Center (associated with neither the Anne Frank House in Amsterdam, Netherlands nor the Anne Frank Fonds in Basel, Switzerland), seems to be really amped up about the violence (first initiated by Antifa activists) in Charlottesville, Virginia over the weekend.
Picking up where Colin Kaepernick left off, “unretired” has-been Oakland Raiders running back Marshawn Lynch kept it real by making some sort of statement about racism or Charlottesville or something by failing to stand when the National Anthem was played during his team’s preseason NFL game against the Arizona Cardinals last night in Glendale, Arizona.
Steven Goldstein, a long-time Democrat and LGBTQ activist who serves as executive director the Anne Frank Center for Mutual Respect (associated with neither the Anne Frank House in Amsterdam, Netherlands nor the Anne Frank Fonds in Basel, Switzerland), opportunistically took to to exploit news related to North Korea’s nuclear weapons program and turn it into an attack on President Trump for “wag[ing] vicious wars on refugees, immigrants, women, people of color, LGBT people.” A war with North Korea would not be @POTUS‘ first.
Yesterday, the #VeryFakeNews network whose face in the White House is Jim Acosta pretended to be triggered and just plain “shocked, shocked” when “house conservative” commentator Jeffrey Lord facetiously used a phrase popularized by the National SOCIALIST (oftened shorted as “Nazi”) Party in Germany in the late 1920s and 1930s.
“Doublethink,” a term popularized in George Orwell’s 1984, is defined by Wikipedia as “the act of simultaneously accepting two mutually contradictory beliefs as correct, often in distinct social contexts.” (Two longer explanations of “doublespeak” from within 1984 can be found at the bottom of this article.) Which brings us to the storm involving Google and freedom of thought that developed over the weekend.
In an opinion piece published Thursday titled “19 People Jews Should Worry About More Than Linda Sarsour,” The Forward, a publication founded in the late 19th Century by and since then run by leftists of Jewish descent, fancied itself “enforcer” against those who would dare to criticize anti-Israel activist Linda Sarsour, who has called for “jihad” against President Trump and who has enjoyed a national spotlight since her role organizing the so-called “Women’s March” in Washington, D.C.
