Yesterday, Barack Obama told American ally Israel to give Old Jerusalem, including the Temple Mount and the most sacred sites of Christianity, to the Hamas-Fatah terror alliance.

The Golden Gates (the two enclosed arches on the Eastern Wall) were cemented shut centuries ago to prevent the prophets from returning to the Temple Mount.

Today, Senator Orrin Hatch (R-UT) announced that he would introduce a congressional resolution disapproving Barack Obama’s pro-Hamas Middle East positions.
The Hill reported:

Utah Sen. Orrin Hatch (R) announced Friday he would introduce a congressional resolution disapproving of President Obama’s stance on Israel’s border lines, saying that “threatens Israel’s security.”

“By calling for a return to the pre-1967 borders, President Obama has directly undermined her,” Hatch said of Israel. “Rather than stand by Israel against consistent unprovoked aggression by longtime supporters of terrorism, President Obama is rewarding those who threaten Israel’s very right to exist. This is not only ridiculous, but dangerous.”

Hatch’s announcement came shortly after Obama finished a protracted Oval Office meeting with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. A day earlier, the president said in a major foreign policy address that lines drawn before the 1967 “Six Day War” should be the starting point for negotiations over a future Palestinian state.

In a joint appearance after Friday’s meeting, Obama cited “differences” with Netanyahu on that issue, though he said he was optimistic a peace deal could be reached. Netanyahu reiterated his opposition to a return to the 1967 borders, calling such a move “indefensible.”

This ought to be an interesting vote.
Will democrats support Israel… Or will they support Obama and Hamas?

  1. PLEASE DO NOT PROMOTE CAIN’S BID FOR THE WH. i think he is a great man but he IS VERY PHYSICALLY SICK. the republicans will be laughed at for having a dying man as a candidate. the average jersey shore idiot will listen to SNL jokes on Cain and then have to vote for the Evil and Illegitimate Obumba

Romney is very accomplished but he has the whole Mormon cult stigma. imagine if they start asking him about his magic underwear. NO Mitch Daniels. He has past drug problems and is friend of the Muslim terror organizations like CAIR. Rick Perry is a better bet but they can dig up some of the nutty things he has said

  2. I think fishy is on the wrong topic.
As far as Hatch–I guess that is better than nothing. Can’t the GOP et al meet on the steps and have an announcement that they don’t agree with Obama?
I thought the Senate and the Congress pass laws on the foreign policy. “Advice and consent of the Senate”.

  3. Fishy, is you post anywhere relevent to this particular subject?

Re: The thread. Some may vote against this resolution because they honestly agree with Obama and some may vote for it because they actually support Israel. Most will vote with one eye on their voting demographics.

  4. He did this to redirect the media from the big a** boulder about to roll down the hill. Corsi’s book. His interview with Alex Jones was unbelievable.

  5. Obama and Hamas

  6. When even the RINOs are up in arms over it, you know Barky really screwed up.

  7. Good for Hatch on this one. This resolution is going to force Dems to make a moral choice. Dilemmas. Dilemmas.

  8. Glenn Beck is going to Jerusalem on August 24th and holding a huge rally there. I’m so proud of him and all those who stand up for Little Israel — our ally in this hostile neighborhood.

Levin played an audio by Semantha Power who is excited about the new Palestinian State and all the money we are going to invest. She states that Palestine will need a massive commitment of American troops. This is beyond obscene.

  9. I should state that Ms. Power is an Obama advisor.

  10. Well, well, well… Guess who Louie Gohmert discovered was invited to Sheikh Hussein’s “big speech” on the Middle East? Why, none other than ISNA head, Imam Magid, a co-conspirator funding Hamas for the indicted Holyland Foundation.

“Texas district 1 Congressman Louie Gohmert has a serious problem with one of the guests who attended the President’s big Middle East speech at the State Department yesterday. He also has a lot to say about why.

“They are named in the pleadings in the Holyland Foundation trial. Frank, Imam Magid, the president of the Islamic Society of North America, the group from which we’ve got deposit slips, we’ve got plenty of evidence with the Judge in the Holyland Foundation case… Magid was at the speech! Obama had invited the president of a co-conspirator funding Hamas to come applaud his speech!

“Catch Rep. Gohmert’s entire interview with Frank Gaffney on today’s Secure Freedom Radio where he goes into great detail about why Hamas shouldn’t have this kind of access at the White House.”

“Fishy, is you post anywhere relevent to this particular subject?”

Fishy’s just a paid concern troll. They pretend to be on your side, and give “concerned” advice that’s actually coming from the Dems. Get used to it now, because they’ve already started big time (see link below).

  15. I want to watch Chuckie Schumer squirm when this comes up for a vote. Let’s see which way the Commies in the Senate vote on it. They made their bed. Now let them sleep in it.

  16. Once again, my position is reaffirmed that Obama is ONLY the President of the depraved Democrat Party. He is NOT my President. I didn’t vote for him, he does NOT represent me and if it was in my power he would be swiftly impeached for treason and incompetence.

  17. anyone who votes in favor of odumbo is a traitor

  18. I hope this comes to a floor vote, and doesn’t get derailed by Dems on some procedural basis. Would be great to see the lefties have to go on the record.

  19. Wikipedia explains the reason for sealing the Golden Gate. It is the product of the disturbed and childish mind.

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Golden_Gate_%28Jerusalem%29
“Ottoman Sultan Suleiman I sealed off the Golden Gate in 1541 to prevent the Messiah’s entrance. The Muslims also built a cemetery in front of the gate, in the belief that the precursor to the Messiah, Elijah, would not be able to pass through the Golden Gate and thus the Messiah would not come.”

Even the emperor of the Muslim world suffered an inferiority complex that is still visible today in the worst of Muslim politics.

  20. Senator Hatch’s move is good politics because American Jews have a long history of blindly supporting democrats. Making democrat Senators go on record for or against this Obama’s policy will matter in the 2012 election cycle. Will the Jews continue to contribute to a party that is undermining the existence of Israel.

I would prefer to see the House specifically deny funding in a new Palestinian state as long as Hamas is part of the government and bar use of American troops to protect the islamists.

  21. I want to add that Suleiman’s mindset on sealing the Golden Gate might be the same reason the Muslims’ obsession for keeping Jews off the Temple Mount. They may fear the Jews would become too powerful if they can fully access their spiritual assets.

  22. Hatch, if he can get his resolution together in something approaching a timely fashion to get some political leverage out of bohammad’s latest mega-gaffe, should include a reference to the revelation set forth in post #10.

  23. anyone who doesn’t support hatch is a commie traitor

  24. Can someone answer something? If Sen. Hatch wants to bring this up and bravo to him for bringing this up, doesn’t Harry reid have to allow it to come on the floor? Is Reid’s permission needed to bring this legislation on the floor? or can orin hatch bring this on the senate floor for a vote?

  25. Gee. Great fun isn’t it? You can put that resolution on the flagpole and then count how many American Jews salute it. Out of a 100, maybe 20 or 15. Point is Obama is virtually immune from any actions regarding Israel short of just bombing them into the stone age. The thing about these type of resolutions are just background noise makers. Imagine a candidate in 2012 running expensive 30 second ads about Israel keeping lands it conquered during war. Waste of time but provides some theatre for the summer season. Even Netanyahu’s opponent is out worshipping Obama’s proposal, suicidal as it is.

Obama will allow the UN General Assembly to pass a resolution naming Palestine a State. Then Obama will “accept” it in the Security Council amid a lot of Telepromptering. Getting the UN to create a recognized Palestinian State is perfect for him. Obama can then cede “negotiations” to the UN and the EU and the Arab world while declaring resolution of the Middle East crisis. Why, they’ll even give him another Peace Prize, maybe two, with which to ride on during his 2012 campaign.

  26. Post the votes online so all of us can see who stands with Isael ,who stands with Obama………

  27. McidiotConnell better not intervene with Hatch’s proposal.

I want to see the vote, too.

  28. If Jewish Americans don’t oppose Obamao, why should the rest care??

  29. Just a reminder of what Obama used to get himself elected

  30. Man, that’ll show ‘im.

A resolution!!! When Congress wants to bring out the firepower it knows how to do it.

Could someone please tell me when Art. I, section 1 (“All legislative powers herein granted shall be vested in a Congress of the United States, which shall consist of a Senate and House of Representatives”) was written out of the Constitution?

  31. Yes, Sen Hatch should bring this up for a vote. . the President does not have unilateral authority to decide what the US foreign policy is, which counties are our friends or enemies or which countries get US aid and support.

Congress controls the purse strings so time to hold back aid and funding for the Palestinians until Hamas is out. It is all about choices. . . the palestinians want support and aid $$$ then vote Hamas out!

In the meantime, Real Conservative Republican senators and congressmen/women need to stand up to our authoritarian narcissist in chief – Obama.

  33. What good will this do? The damage is already done ,their’s a reason why no other president has spoken- these- words-out -loud. But applaud Hatch for standing up.

  34. Hatch should marshal the necessary numbers to get this to a vote ASAP.

Make the Democrats stand by Obumbler’s words.

It will be fun to watch scum like Schumer, who claims to be Israel’s best friend, work to kill this proclamation.

Righteous Jews should call him and others out at full volume.

  35. Anmerican Jews I fear are more committed to leftist liberalism than either Judaism, Israel, or America;s national security. American Jewish lib lefti voters are like the nags who daily ignore the stonings, hangings, acid blindings & suffering of women in muslim lcountries as they defed, shill, dissemble for the agendas of the marxists and their erstwhile islamofascist allies.

  36. Any treaty proposed by the US must be ratified by 2/3 of the Senate before it can be implemented. Funding to implement must originate in the House and be approved by both houses and signed by the president. What chance does anyone give this policy? Slim to none.

  37. I want to refute something that was said about me from another post. I AM NOT a Soros/Dem poster. What I said about Cain and the others is TRUE. I am just so SICK and tired of Republicans nominating losers on the ticket. The primaries are so important. I ADORE Cain but the facts are facts. Please we must exercise caution and intellect during the primaries, not emotional fervor that ignores the glaring facts.

  38. @ #38 – You adore Soros and your Obamessiah. Now, go away.
