Yesterday, employees at ACORN in Brooklyn who were caught on video giving tax advice to a couple posing as a pimp and a prostitute were cleared of criminal wrongdoing.  The Brooklyn DA is a member of the ACORN/Working Families Party. That means he signed their pledge, and worked for their endorsement… And, he found no wrongdoing. Funny how that works out, huh?

  1. I have no idea about the DA but I betcha hes a Democrat. Rule of law means nothing to socialists.
the end justifies the means to them.

  2. This is just a horrible day in America; when the balance of powers get more obsure everyday and the Executive Branch more dictorial, You have put the foxes (obama/Eric Holder) in charge of the hen house.

After knowing and seeing those revolting videos; and knowing that these people would of went through this scam is frightening for the world and for every child in this world.

Most liberal people here probably never even watched the videos and even knowing what went on probably don’t even care. Yes, those bleeding heart liberals, under the pretense of save the children from the pedophiles, would be screaming for blood if this was a MSNBC pedophile sting operation.

During remarks to CPAC, House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform Ranking Member Darrell Issa (R-CA) released a video showing the close alliance between President Barack Obama and the radical leftist community organizing group ACORN.

In the video he admitted with fighting along ACORN his whole carreer.

He jumped started ACORN along with bomber Bill Ayers and a few million dollars from Annenberg to train for community organizers.

    http://www.newsrealblog.com/2010/02/20/uncovered-video-obama-reveals-closer-relationship-with-acorn

Rep Steve King, before Congress, showed proof that ACORN campaigned for obama and other democrats, which is illegal as a 501c(3) organization.

  3. File a civil suit…The government only targest easy criminals and these are friends, of course…Breitbart, file civil charges and watch the case unfold. This gift will keep on giving. Meaning, enlightening the American people…

  4. This looks just criminal! I think that we should contact Eric Holder and the DOJ. I’m sure that they would do something :::yawn:::

  6. The corruption grows and grows. Boy are we going to need a lot of tar and feathers.

  7. In other jurisdictions, they call it, “conflict of interest.”

Ever hear of the word, “recusal”?

The man took ACORN’s filthy endorsement and swore to the “Working Families Party” pledge: to be an enemy of the private sector and to subvert the Constitution.

NY is bankrupt. Last productive person out, shut off the lights.

  8. Hey Mon whats yir problem here Mon, dis is a banana republic what do ya expect!

  9. This ruling could reasonably be appealed due to the obvious conflict of interest. A member of the group under investigation? This is crap.

  10. We are starting to look like a third world banana republic. You drones that voted for this, look what you’ve done. America looks shameful.

  11. Conflict of interest. Blatant. He should never have been able to make such a decision, and the decision he HAS made should, at the very least, be scratched and made by someone else who is not so conflicted.

  12. We’ve had incident after incident now over several elections of blacks attempting to interfere with the election process. And both the government and the media have made great efforts to cover it up. To question is to be branded a racist. Next Black History Month, PBS will probably be broadcasting a documentary honoring the “icons” of ACORN. Right now, the media is probably working feverishly to produce a propaganda film praising that great civil-rights leader Charles Rangel.

While campaigning, President Reparations-by-other-means was giving a much different message to the acorns in this country than he was to the people who pay the taxes. The acorns want their Obama Money. They was promised.

  13. Unfortunately there are other “community organizations” stepping in for ACORN – as SPN Headlines reports:

    Keep smiling! :-)

  14. Debunking Some Emerging ACORN Liberal Myths

This post debunks several liberal myths about ACORN that have emerged in recent weeks — many from Eric Boehlert of Media Matters and Brad Friedman.

  15. Nothing new here, just another Democrat that supports child sex slavery, and tax evasion.

After all Democrats are just preparing the children for the work they are going to have to do in the coming century in order to eat.

  16. What he found was that O’Keefe edited the video to make it look worse than it actually was and the unedited version showed there was no wrongdoing. If a MSM organization had shown such bias in editing, you’d be screaming bloody murder. If you have any integrity you would hold O’Keefe and Breitbart to the same standards.

If you have any integrity you would hold O’Keefe and Breitbart to the same standards.

And if YOU had any integrity, you would be critical of this obvious conflict of interest and demand this DA be held accountable.

Funny how a Republican working for Haliburton years ago is proof-positive of a high governmental conspiracy. But a DA investigating his friends and political supporters means nothing to you.

    Curious.

  18. The paranoia about ACORN is just embarrassing and completely out of touch with reality. It’s a non-profit that works with poor people. It isn’t a grand mastermind of anything. Two Black Panther dudes who decided to run around outside a polling location threatening people does not magically flip millions of votes or say much of anything about anyone other than themselves.

The mythology of all of this is inflated to a ridiculous degree. There are plenty of things conservatives legitimately have to complain about with Democratic rule and policies. It’s sad that instead of making those arguments, the debate is almost entirely over this overhyped sideshow that wouldn’t even be of much consequence to anything at all even if the tapes were what they were originally portrayed as (which they aren’t: nearly everything about them was exaggerated, from how many staffers even though O’Keefe and Giles were sincere, to what Giles and O’Keefe actually portrayed themselves as, and so on)

The paranoia about ACORN is just embarrassing and completely out of touch with reality.

That seems to be a common refrain when Liberals are cought in these situations. “This is nothing, it means nothing. Pay no attention to the man behind the curtain”. And those excuses are pathetic BS.

ACORN is a corrupt organization. Obama is associated with them. It speaks to the character of the man and the party.

Sorry Drew, but this IS important.

  20. Drew,

Get with it buddy…Non-profits are profligate with high paid executives…It’s merely a tax dodge which lines the pockets of those in positions of power. You would be surprised how many ACORN execs are cashing six and seven figure checks…As well, this organization is supported by billions with a “B” taxpayer dollars…We already have HUD, the Department of Housing and Urban Development, with a nearly 50 billion dollar budget, . Why do we need ACORN?

  21. This is the third case that’s been dropped because the actual unedited video was NOTHING like the story as presented by O’keefe & Friends.

There is always the possibility that O’Keefe doctored the story to make a name for himself and hurt ACORN. I mean, this is O’keefe’s third strike.

  22. Scott, where are you getting your “facts” about six and seven figure paychecks for people who work for ACORN?

  23. Oh, and Militant Conservative, about the rule of law and the ends justifying the means — aren’t you the one who keeps threatening armed insurrection if you don’t get your way?

  24. I have read a couple of trolls (Allen and Kevin)here today that seem to agree with the DA and the entire democrat party, child sex slavery must be promoted, and quickly. Seriously, it is this type of sick idiot that wants to teach masterbation to preschoolers.

Allinsky… Deny Deny Deny, even if you are on tape, deny….lie, deny.

What those ACORN scum did was wrong, and sick. Why libs want to sexualize children is beyond me, but then I am not a democrat.

  25. Time to appoint a special prosecutor — without ACORN/Democrat ties…
    .

  26. This **** won’t float. Look for a civil action that heightens the negative publicity and exposes the corrupt DA.

  27. Ummm sorry kevin, but media matters and you have been caught lying-AGAIN.

    First in this link:
    http://patterico.com/2010/03/01/debunking-some-emerging-acorn-liberal-myths

    Then this one.

    http://gatewaypundit.firstthings.com/2010/03/acorn-da-lets-acorn-off-the-hook-for-child-prostitution-tapes/

Here’s the money quote for simpletons like kevin:
“Interestingly, they are doing it by claiming Hynes is also a Republican and a Conservative, and therefore his relationship with ACORN’s Working Families Party is meaningless.

Media Matters arrives at this conclusion because Hynes ran unopposed in his district. That means he ran on EVERY line on the ballot. In the Progressivestan that is Media Matters, this somehow negates the fact that his relationship with the Working Families Party creates the appearance of a conflict of interests in the ACORN case.”

Apparently kevin and the other liars want us to believe that he was endorsed by the GOP because he ran unopposed and on all lines of the ballot.
