State-run media comes clean…
Democrats told us that they would cover 30 million more people under their socialized health care plan and reduce costs at the same time. Obama told the American public, “Not only can we afford to do this, we can’t afford not to do this…” But, now after pumping up the democrat’s nationalized heath care plan for months, the state-run media finally admitted that it will increase costs.
The AP reported:
President Barack Obama’s health care overhaul law will increase the nation’s health care tab instead of bringing costs down, government economic forecasters concluded Thursday in a sobering assessment of the sweeping legislation.
A report by economic experts at the Health and Human Services Department said the health care remake will achieve Obama’s aim of expanding health insurance — adding 34 million Americans to the coverage rolls.
But the analysis also found that the law falls short of the president’s twin goal of controlling runaway costs, raising projected spending by about 1 percent over 10 years. That increase could get bigger, however, since the report also warned that Medicare cuts in the law may be unrealistic and unsustainable, forcing lawmakers to roll them back.
The mixed verdict for Obama’s signature issue is the first comprehensive look by neutral experts.

This goes against common sense to any selfrespecting economist of the leftist persuasion. They all know that if they increase cost exponentially and combat peoples ability to create wealth (and revenue) it will result in the perfect world were everything is free.

I had a car salesman one time tell me not only could I afford to buy that $75,000 Mercedes, I couldn’t afford NOT to. And that I had to buy it TODAY! This healthcare legislation was a no-brainer to a 3rd grader. Perhaps these are the “neutral experts” they are talking of, maybe they went to Hoover Elementary School and had a talk with the “neutral experts”.

I never trusted the CBO because they were basing their cost annalysis on a bill that was incomplete. The socialists, reid pelosi et al, didn’t include everything until after the vote.

The CBO numbers were rigged, because the CBO was forced to follow unrealistic assumptions in its forecasts.
We said it, the American people understood it, but the Democrats forced the bill through anyway. They must pay the price in November.
Update: Now it makes sense. The Democrats refused to delay the vote on Obamacare even though the Medicare Actuary was not able to complete his analysis and cost estimates in time for the vote. In light of this report, it is clear why the Democrats didn’t want to wait. They could game the CBO, but not the Medicaire Actuary.

So, it was all a lie (no surprise).
Repeal the whole damn thing and get something that helps everyone, not just having the 47% who don’t pay taxes paid for by those who do pay taxes (something for nothing).
