Kelly reportedly received several threats after her performance at last week’s debate.

On Friday an online petition was set up to bar Megyn Kelly from future GOP debates.
OVER 50,000 HAVE SIGNED THE PETITION–

On Tuesday Twitter reacted to the news that Megyn was taking some time off—

I believe this was her husband’s idea because just a whiff of death threats towards her and he will not tolerate her being anywhere near Fox News.

    Cooling down period.

  • Dopey

Maybe she’ll take the time to get a nose job. Every time I look at her I think Beavis and Butthead.

    Hehehe…..you said “job,” hehehe.

Murdoch loves this woman, she has brought in the ratings and he too knows she is worried about the so called Trump supporters. This is Fox saying this not me. Sad, she just couldn’t ask the right questions of Trump.

No one will convince me that Roger Ailes isn’t behind this: Disappear for awhile, and hope things improve.
I may start to watch again while she is gone; but I will shut her out when she returns.

  • ridgerunner

I have watched 15 min of Fox since the debate. That 15 minutes was to watch the “Fox Political Insiders” on Sunday evening as I was interested in their take on the debate. I respect Pad Caddell’s opinion. After talking about the debate for 15 minutes, they never mentioned the Trump/Kelley exchange even once. When I saw that Fox had shut up Pat Caddell, that was it – over and out. Not a reliable news source.

  • Patty

she is in need of a much needed rest after all, it is tough reading the news off a monitor every day. After all, she calls herself a good Journalist. Wow, just wow. Every word is scripted for her, sit read and converse and read again.

Cavuto did the same thing to Conrad Black a day after the debate — shut him down and went to a commercial.

Somewhere inside the deepest bowels of the Fox News Programming Department:

First Executive: “What will we do, the viewers are boycotting the advertisers, the advertisers are pulling their ads, that debate stunt blew up in our faces, and that host keeps shooting her mouth off about being right and doing “good journalism”, heck I even laughed when I heard her say that…”

Second Executive: “Announce that she is receiving death threats, then send her on a long vacation!”

First Executive: “Great idea, then we can keep announcing she is extending that vacation, indefinitely. Buy out her contract and get her to shut up, and we might stop the company from hemorrhaging long enough to sell our stock options and flee the ship before it goes down!”

Fox News In Disarray As Their Own Viewers Support Donald Trump Over Megyn Kelly

The real reason Fox News gave in decided to play
nice with Donald Trump is that they were flooded with criticism from
their viewers after Megyn Kelly went after the top Republican candidate.

Donald Trump returned to Fox and Friends this
morning, where he was given his usual diet of Charmin fresh softballs to
ramble on about. What was interesting about his appearance was that it
even happened. Trump’s return to Fox marked a complete capitulation by the network after they tried to run him off of the stage during the first Republican debate.

After Fox News had tried to ruin Trump’s candidacy
during the debate, they were stunned by a viewer rebellion where Fox
News watchers took the side of Trump over the network’s prized big star
    Megyn Kelly.

  • Patty

Things got worse for Ailes over the weekend. In a phone
conversation, Trump told Sean Hannity that “he was never doing Fox
again,” according to one person with knowledge of the call. The
anti-Kelly emails, and threat of a boycott by Trump, seem to have pushed
Ailes to defuse the war. One Fox personality told me that Fox producers
gave instructions to tell in-house talent not to bring up Trump’s
controversial comments that Kelly had “blood coming out of her wherever”
during the debate. According to one count, Fox only aired Trump’s
comment once since Friday, while CNN mentioned it at least 50 times.

    http://www.politicususa.com/2015/08/11/fox-news-disarray-viewers-support-donald-trump-megyn-kelly.html

  • Patty

If Fox News ever lost the backing of conservatives,
the network would be toast. Fox News doesn’t many moderate or liberal
viewers. Their audience is overwhelmingly conservative Republicans. As a
matter of survival, Ailes could not have his viewers favorite candidate
    boycotting his network.

The leadership at Fox obviously doesn’t understand
their audience. Viewers support the bigotry, misogyny, and sexism of
Trump. Racism and bigotry are two of the main reasons why Trump is so
    popular with Republican voters.

Fox News has lost control of zombie army that they
created. Donald Trump uses the same strategies as Fox News, but in many
ways, he does them better. Fox News made Trump into a political figure
by giving him a platform, but the billionaire has evolved and stolen the
    hearts of their audience.

    The network’s debate strategy backfired.
Trump has gained in popularity. One of their biggest stars was
criticized, and conservatives rebelled. Big bad Fox News was brought to
its knees as Donald Trump demonstrated that Fox is far from unbeatable.

we still have to wait and see how this plays out-
recall Connie Chung after the, “come whisper in my ear, just between you and me” with Newt Gingrich’s mother in 1995. It was a slow easing out, so CBS could deny the real reasons for her removal.
also, Dan Rather his own bad self, was eased out, again to avoid the obvious reason why he fell.

I won’t believe megan will join the womyn on ABC’s, “The View” until it actually happens -especially since there is every reason to believe her performance was directed and approved by Fox Executives beforehand!
dontchathink those questions were carefully crafted by Fox Execs? I do.

  • sparky5253

I cancelled Fox News. Anything newsworthy is on the internet.

  • Megyn Kelly needs to ponder the reality that Mr. Trump is a leading Presidential contender and a world-renowned businessman, while she is a news reader and neophyte commentator who knows how to put on her lip gloss well. Have a little more respect next time, dear.

  • Lee Jan

Going to commune with Candy Crowley?

  • sakss

As a voter, I watched the debate for incite on all the candidates. I wanted to know how each candidate felt about immigration, the jobs situation, Isis, Hilary Clinton. Unfortunately, we were all the losers due to the lack of questioning from the moderators. They had more speaking time that any of the candidates. And yes, I was especially frustrated with Megyn Kelly. I’m not even sure at this point who I’m apt to vote for in the election; but I do know that Mr. Trump needed to be treated the same as the other candidates. Miss Kelly’s gotcha type question should have been asked of the other nine candidates standing. As time goes on, Mr. Trump or any of the candidates will be eliminated due to lack of support…but that needs to happen naturally.

  • wow…

Enjoy your vacation! We will! Ratings ‘on top’ my arse. Take your hubris with you dear. You betrayed and polarized a nation, period. That’s JUST what we needed Kelly, more of it. Your awesome. ..really..lol So, have YOU ever called a man ‘fat, stupid, ugly, pig’? Naahhh, not you right? Misandrist fist bump-ditz!

  • Look, if Donald Trump could force David Letterman at the height of his career to apologize – and he did – a simple “I’m sorry if my question was inappropriate” or something like that wouldn’t have killed her. She is the one that needs a little humility here, Mr. Trump may speak graphically, but he was the one who was being attacked.

  • I think that Megyn Kelly is not very clever, because quoting the NY Times of all things to justify her actions, well, dear, that is not the best source to use. Let’s just leave that one alone.

  • wow…

Exactly! Humility? From a feminist? Remember, they’re ALL victims- however, a perpetual victim is….annoying.. buh bye kelly! C u on communist news network..lol

People are so sick of the Washington insiders, Boehner, McConnell, Graham, and many on stage that night. When Fox tried to stack the debate in favor of the DC insiders their Conservative audience felt betrayed. That was a classic liberal cheap move used aginst Conservatives in every election.

Pat doesn’t mince words. He is the only Democrat that truly cares about this country.

Kelly said she would ask Donald Trump: “You’ve called women you don’t
like ‘fat pigs’, ‘dogs’, ‘slobs'” and “disgusting animals”, including
on Twitter. Did he have the temperament to be president?

There was some discussion of whether another woman, Hillary Clinton,
should be added to the question. Kelly wanted to keep the Twitter
reference so people could go online and see for themselves what Trump
had written over the years and that it wasn’t just about Rosie
O’Donnell. She felt there was a good chance she would be booed by the
audience—and that The Donald would hit back hard.

“If Trump comes after me, don’t jump in and save me,” Kelly told her co-moderators.

As it turned out, part of the audience tittered, Trump interrupted to
say he was talking about Rosie, then said he was not politically
correct and had always been nice to Megyn—but maybe he shouldn’t be
anymore. He had parried a hard question with a series of thrusts.

Vacation? You mean back to liberal re-education camp?

  • Patty

The team spent considerable time on the wording of what would be the
night’s first question: Would everyone on stage agree to endorse the
winner of the Republican primaries? The discussion turned to whether
that seemed like a Trump question.

“It is a Trump question,” Washington Managing Editor Bill Sammon said.

Baier would ask for a show of hands. What if Trump was the only one
not to take the pledge? Then, the group decided, the “Special Report”
anchor would ask a followup about how Trump could seek the GOP nod
without ruling out a third-party bid. (Trump took the bait, raised his
hand, and the debate made news in its opening moments.)

You can put lipstick on a feminist but it’s still a feminist.

  • Attacking Donald Trump was a career ending move for Megyn Kelly. And it all but guarantees that Carly Fiorina can’t win the nomination. Ted Cruz has won big by sticking to defining his own positions instead of attacking those of others.

  • Conservative Rebel

Maybe now Megyn will consider the amplitude of what her snarky comments caused by ruining an important debate. She now has etched her place in history for attacking the front runner in the GOP, and will forever be blamed if we end up with a Democrat that will take us down the path of destroying this country! She alone set the worst tone for a debate in history, clouding the rest of the evening, as well as Chris WallASS doing the same, and then into the evening after the debate. Megyn though did the most damage to herself than she could have ever done to Trump. We needed to hear real questions at the most important time in American history, and she blew it by asking about comments he said about Rosie O’Donnel a decade ago that she defends as being “hard hitting journalistic questions”, even though they were completely irrelevant and only are part of the invented “war on women” the Democrats invented. I certainly hope FOX realizes the extent of what she has done, bringing into question the legitimacy of Fox as a news source that is not going to lie to us. She needs fired, as this will not sit well for quite some time from now on if she remains.

‘RNC ASSASSINATION SQUAD’: How FOX Used Trump to Morph Into MSNBC

“the RNC Assassination Squad” was out, in full force. This, from a
prominent member of the Republican Party who is documented to despise
Donald Trump. If he noticed, how suspect are the glowing reviews of the FOX circus, from both sides of the political aisle?

Megyn Kelly was, shamefully, the key offender. From transcripts of the debate, Kelly asked reasonable questions of the other candidates focusing on policy, Medicaid or security:

Wallace tried, unsuccessfully, to get other candidates to vilify Trump on the immigration issue.

The attack tag team hit its lowest point when waspish Kelly asked the following of Donald Trump:

“Mr. Trump…in this campaign, your critics say you often sound more
like a Democrat than a Republican, (your) calling several of your
opponents on the stage things like clowns and puppets. When did you
    actually become a Republican?”

    http://clashdaily.com/2015/08/rnc-assassination-squad-how-fox-used-trump-to-morph-into-msnbc/

So, Many Chris and Bret need to join Megyn on a long vacation.

  • Mike in Illinois

This is hilarious. Some will call it a band aid but I submit that it is a tourniquet….an attempt to stop the obvious bleeding. Interesting that Bill O has been vacationing through all this as well. It occurs to me that he saw this all coming, and got out before it even happened.

I don’t know that Fox will ever truly recover from this debacle. I suppose a serious debate would help, but even then, it will take several serious debates, with other people moderating them in the background, simply because many will straight up refuse to watch the next one – to make a point. (well, another point).

Trump smacked Fox and its big heads in the mouth, just like he did Mexico and its enablers. The “parties” (and I don’t mean just the tv media or the political factions, are facing a splendid choice –

Attempt to hold on to their long established political correctness “standards” (in which case Trump smacks them all repeatedly for the next year and a half as his approval rises) or let the PC garbage go where the free market wants it to go – extinct.

    Trumped INDEED!

  • Patty

One reason Murdoch is taking to social
media and deploying his publishing properties to attack Trump may be the
simple fact that he hasn’t been able to control his most powerful media
organ: Fox News. According to sources, Murdoch has tried — and failed —
to rein in Fox News Chairman and CEO Roger Ailes, who, insiders say, is
pushing Fox to defend Trump’s most outlandish comments. This week,
Ailes told his senior executives during a meeting that Murdoch recently
called him and asked if Fox could “back off the Trump coverage,” a
source told me. Ailes is said to have boasted to his executives that he
told Murdoch he was covering Trump “the way he wanted to.” The
implication was that he wasn’t going to budge.

  • beans

Yeah, I was wondering where O’Reilly was but he’s always maintained he is a registered independent so having an opinion about the RNC debate would not be in his best interests. As for MK her numbers on Monday night were top place but I bet they slid after her non-apology and her saying she asked good questions. That was the real deal breaker for people. Over night from Tues had her numbers tank after that & also was the constant reference to the incident were wearing on her as she had become the news. Here’s the numbers for cable: http://www.mediaite.com/tv/monday-cable-ratings-foxs-megyn-kelly-1-in-demo-and-total/

  • wow…

    100% AGREE!!! We’ll said.

  • Mike in Illinois

Rather than be contrite, Kelly doubled down and tried to be the controller of the situation. She made the same mistake on the night of her return that she did at the debate. She thought she was in control – and she was wrong.

She has to know that her vacationing now is seen as a suspension….but will she admit it to herself and learn a lesson?

    Doubtful.
I predict a show shakeup at Fox within two months. The Five is slipping Kelly will slip and slide even worse and for much the same reasons. Out Numbered is a waste airtime and Hannity just sucks. As for Bill, well, t be early for his retirement party but he has to see that Kelly’s quick rise and fall spells doom for his ratings – he should end his run while still up there (as opposed to being that QB who plays couple years too long).

New Media just scared the pants off Old Media. No Doubt About it.

  • wow…

  • Tyrannocankles rex

They need to figure out which mid-level editors and producers turned it into a Uniparty hit job. Inserting operatives that spike truth and feed the narrative is how the commies roll. Leave those pencil-necks in place, and Fox will tank before long.

This vacation is all about history. Megyn just watched her reputation hammered forever on the internet. It has been a avalanche and it bowled over everything else she has ever done – ever – put together. She got exactly what she tried to do to Don Trump. Karma is a real thing, and Megyn just found that out.

The question I have is this – Have people like Shep Smith noticed? How about other talking heads? Do they realize that we the people are as fed up with their garbage as we are of that which spews forth from government politicians?

  • wow…

Good point Mike! Shep is an annoying lil freak. Got that kinda hair- kind that grows on pigs nu**..

  • Tyrannocankles rex

Fantastic link, Patty. You really outdid yourself with that one!

  • MarginCall

I get Megyn. She saw a guy that said something derogatory towards women in his past and chose to destroy that guy’s life by resurrecting that part of the guy’s life during a national, presidential debate.

Since it’s so convenient and expedient for Megyn to destroy lives on TV, I think it’s far more than fair that Megyn’s life be held out before us as well.

Why do I say the above? Because Megyn only has her job because she isn’t fat and ugly. Megyn probably has some things to hide that she’d rather not have aired on a show in which 24M are watching. Let me be the first to say that, “I want to see Megyn’s dirty panties flapping in the breezes.”

Presidential Horse Race 2016: Treat the Donald with care

    Donald Trump makes peace
with Fox, but still won’t apologize to Megyn Kelly; what candidates are
in trouble this week; are we heading for a Goldwater situation?; Ben
Carson, voice of reason, and, why there won’t be a third Bush
    presidency.

And Trump, who according to a source with knowledge of the situation,
had threatened to boycott Fox News altogether, agreed to appear on ‘Fox
    & Friends’ and ‘Hannity.’”

The détente makes sense for both sides. Fox needs Trump for ratings and Trump needs Fox to reach conservative voters.

Nothing was said about whether Trump has made up with Megyn Kelly
personally. The Donald has said several times that he won’t apologize
for his comments, and now Kelly says she won’t either. Did you really expect either to extend an olive branch?

Trump appears to have come out of the dust-up without too much damage, too. For example, Rev. Franklin Graham didn’t seem offended by what Trump said at the debate, calling him a “smart man.”

I don’t know, Mike, but those are good questions that I have too. Everyone at Fox is acting like nothing happened, and business as usual. Someone there should realize that Fox created for themselves a very thin line after that obvious hit on Trump and pushing their candidates they want to see in the race.

  • Catherine P.

In all honesty, it wasn’t just Megyn, Baier came in with the guided missile question JUST for Trump. Why would you ask the front runner with 25% support if he is contemplating leaving the Party in which he is running? Then Chris Wallace making pretend he doesn’t know the difference between business and personal bankruptcy and being shocked that in 40 years and owning 50 businesses, someone might have to let 2-4 go into bankruptcy. Hard to believe. The curtain was drawn on the KARL ROVE RINO CLUB.

Glad she’s gone. I don’t think any credible news person should sandbag any candidate, and Megyn Kelly not only sandbagged Donald Trump, she attacked with sniper fire at each of the candidates. By running on with three-minute questions while limiting the responses to one minute each, she showed she thinks more of herself than she does of the candidates’ answers.

Same with the GOP and their attempts at a professional hit job. Neither the news media, the moderators, the executives, nor the GOP Chairman and/or his establishment cronies, the Speaker of the House, the Senate Majority Leader will be allowed to hijack a free and open primary during this election. You don’t pick our government leaders, they are elected by We The People. You may actually learn this lesson the hard way, that whether you have $100 million or $2.5 billion, your money can not buy the vote.

Her type of ‘ pro ‘ journalism is better left to the dems news stations. it wasn’t only her , bret and wallace are just as guilty, We ‘ i ‘ watch fox debate for comments from candidates, not once was guns, firearms issue brought up along with other issues people tuned into to hear about. I felt like i was watching nutjob chris matthews moderate or bill maher . Her question to jeb about what gwbush did relating to going into iraq ‘ would he go back into iraq again – a what if question ( We want facts here mrsKelly not gothcha questions ) If i were jeb I would have told her to go ask gw if you want to know that, my name is Jeb not George.
Bret baier was in charge of that debate. How much vacation time he get ? and i am a trump supporter. He knows how to get things done – at the mere mention of Ford putting a truck plant in mexico Ford is moving that to OH. trump isnt even president yet and he’s saved 1,000 jobs from mexico. Dont tell me he cant cut through red tape. Ford and UAW came to agreement the next day.

    Get your act together Fox.

When you constantly go on TV fostering hate and division towards others, it eventually comes back around. She’s just getting her karma. These very same people threatening her are the very same people she has been egging on for years. Her career is over. Conservatives love to hang on to hate. Im a Democrat and a Trump supporter and those questions she asked was juvenile and unprofessional. I know one thing, Trump knows how to play hardball. By boycotting Fox personally along with his supporters, he has literally strongarmed the highest rated network to do his bidding to prevent ratings drop and a third candidacy bid. He is crazy like a Fox. Go Donald!

MK has been playing the feminist card for too long and far too hard. That’s OK if you’re Maddow. Maddow gets her way not only because she’s a woman, but because she’s a lesbian. If you’re a woman and a lesbian, you get double points in television. That’s not OK if you’re a female exec, posing for equality, on a conservative channel, having only your looks as a qualifier against your antagonistic nature, in the nighttime news lifecycle.

CNN’s poster gay’s Lemon and Cooper might should take note. Doesn’t Cooper have a famous mother or something? Wonder how he got his “job”?

  • Here’s the chart the Trump campaign sent out earlier. It’s actually one of the more conservative.

  • rhzszm

We have become a society that, for the first time in 3,000 years, thinks it is a minor offense to outright acceptable to make false accusations in order to bring harm to another person. The 9th Commandment makes this one of the 10 great sins. But ancient Israel wasn’t the only place this kind of offense was seen as serious.

In Hammurabi’s Codex any person who falsely accuses another is subject to whatever the punishment their victim would have (or did) received. In a death penalty case that means death.

In the code of law that established the Roman Republic the penalty for false accusation is to be thrown from the Tarpean cliff.

There has never been a time in Western Civilization when a person could make false accusations to law enforcement or another authority with the power to punish with the impunity we see today.

In the once famous and well known story of ‘Suzanna and the Elders’ from the Book of Steven [Apocrypha], two peeping-Toms conspire to blackmail the virtuous Suzanna having spied on her in her bath. They threaten to accuser her of offering them her body for favors using descriptions of private areas of her body as proof that she had “shown them her wares”. Suzanna, being virtuous, refuses. As these are considered reputable men, Suzanna is found guilty and condemned to stoning. But as she is being led out, Steven, one of the judges, is told by a Heavenly voice, that Suzanna is innocent. He demands that the trial be resumed and questioning of the accusers shows that their stories are inconsistent. Suzanna is exonerated and her accusers take her place, condemned for this terrible offense.

The reason that false accusation is so terrible is that the accuser seeks to make innocent people and the whole system of justice unknowing participants in their own evil crime.

I don’t think we should stone false accusers or cast them off of cliffs or high buildings. But Hammurabi had it pretty close to right. They should be punished with whatever penalty their victim was at risk of. In this case that would be loss of her position.

  • The only people who benefit from a litmus test for party loyalty are “establishment” party insiders hoping to game the nominating process to exclude anyone they can’t control.

Heard a rumor that FOX is looking at other “pretty faces” that are younger than Megyn. . . with no wrinkles by their eyes.. . .and requiring less makeup due to their natural beauty than the aging Megyn. . . maybe even with skin that is tinted to appeal to people of color.

Megen, it was fun while it lasted but since you were hired for your looks (and anything else?) these things are easily replaceable.

BTW, when you made your comment to Trump about the the woman “being on her knees”, were you speaking from experience?. .
we all wonder how you pushed Hannity out of Prime Time with the ratings he had?

  • richard

Now that Megyn has gone on vacation, I have a prediction of something, that you won’t know is happening, but deep down, I think you will agree, probably is: During her vacation time, she’s going to be reading YOUR comments on blogs like this one.

Isn’t it inevitable? Just imagine if there were such a swirl of controversy about you? Now, I recognize that you’re not a TV anchor, but isn’t it only human, to want to know what people are saying about you?

I can imagine her husband telling her on her vacation (presumably at home): “Megyn, turn off the computer and go to bed. It’s not healthy for you to be reading their comments. You did the right thing. Now come to bed”

So anyway, if you’re reading this Megyn Kelly, you’ve betrayed your viewers, and we won’t be coming back.

  • johnfarmingdale

I am sure it is an “all paid vacation” for her good work from the Master of Puppet.

  • She ‘surrendered’ a long time ago.
In 2010, she posed in a risque slip for GQ (A mans mag)
Not long after, she had an in depth sex-promoting interview with Howard the pervert Stern.
She is a militant feminist and pro-gay marriage.

The reason nobody ‘saw’ these things is because they were enthralled by her ‘beauty’

At one point, she butchered her hair in an effort to be more manly and the men went nuts and demanded she wear it ‘pretty’ again.
When she butchered her hair, she was only trying to be her fem-nazi self.

  • Wigglesworth

Good riddance! Make it an extended vacation.

  • keystonepipe

How about the adults get back to the issues

  • Circa53

Petitions against her, ratings drop, death threats, and a sudden vacation, I’d call that a snag..

  • Louise

    People Power, pure and simple.

  • Dopey

I think somebody would keep her from doing that. It would destroy her. I know of a famous bass player who was the leader of a very famous band. He said, “a thousand people say nice things and think I’m great, but one guy said I was a one trick pony. That bothered me for a long time.”

But having said that, Megyn is about as phony as they get. Her head is too big for her body.

  • Dopey

    No. We’re denouncing her bullying.

  • DanandRenata Lutz

personal attack on Trump while everyone else gets political questions and topics. Even if she was directed to do that she should have said no. That is your republican party, smash anyone who isn’t in line with you and ALEC.

  • OahuNole

I like the fancy way she spells her name with a Y. How clever.

  • FlawedLaws

    Which is true?
    1. Fox News, Roger Ails reviewed and approved the gender nonsense false victim questions Megan gathered from her Facebook tramps…..or…
    2. Megyn Kelly decided to use those questions, and she had carte blanche authority to do whatever the heck her little brain decided to do, because she lives by a lower standard of intelligence than the Fox News viewers.

Either way, Roger, Megyn, and Donald are all laughing all the way to the bank, since they all landed on their feet. I just want to know what her bonus percentage was. I credit her for bringing in the facebookers, now she needs to leave them behind. They will take her down completely if she doesn’t.

  • FlawedLaws

that can’t happen unless and until she scrapes of the facebook. That relationship is manipulative to the dark side.

  • Dopey

If you erase that last sentence I can up vote your comment.

  • Chris Gilbert

Sad that they still think we’re mad about the wording of the questions. Trump handled that on his own just fine. I am pissed that Fox news surrendered their soul to the establishment instead of holding them accountable to us! Fox betrayed all of us!

  • Johnny

If you can’t take the heat, stay out of the kitchen!

  • sakss

You’re correct in that all three moderators were to blame. I think Megyn’s initial question took me back a bit and I had a hard time concentrating on the rest of the “debate.” As I said, the voters were the losers…I’m hoping if Fox is involved in another debate, they’ve got their act together the next time.

  • mg4us

Wonder if Megyn ever in her life called a guy who was an idiot by the “D” word (you know the “D” word as in male genitalia. . not the nickname for Richard!!)?

Wonder if she ever called a nasty woman who beat her at something the “B” word. . as in female dog. . rhymes with itch.?

Makes you wonder how pure Megyn really is. . .
She seems to have had some experience with her “on her knees” comment. . Is that how Megyn got a-head?

I’m sure Obama’s mouthpiece MSNBC is looking to hire someone who hates Trump is not a worthy moderator and a lousy journalist. Her miserable and biased performance during the debate would look great on her job application for that left wing loser station.

  • MC Slammer

From a ratings and career point of view Me-gyne taking off now is a disaster. For an ambitious person like Kelly, that last thing she would do is hide when the spotlight is on her, especially when she is getting once-in-a-lifetime attention.

Logic says that this ‘vacation’ is part of the Trump blowback. I suspect the peace deal between Ailes and Trump was something like an exchange for near-exclusive interviews in return for Me-gyne getting her knuckles rapped.

Heh, Kelly is a Feminist, Amnesty Shill and a closet leftist. I never liked her and cheer that she got this slap in her botoxed face, courtesy of Donald Trump.

    Trump 2, Kelly 1

The Donald is an ASSCLOWN, Megyn would have been wise to have let him show his ass without punching the tar baby.

  • Mahdi Al-Dajjal

My guess it that Megyn has an overly inflated sense of her own importance and ended up mouthing-off to Roger Ailes who immediately suspended her for 2 weeks and the FOX Network is spinning the whole thing as a “much needed vacation”.

  • Cleidi Orenzo

    GO and get lost

  • Bitter Clinger

Lurching Left was a major miscalculation by Murdoch.

Fox News cannot nor will it ever compete in the same space as ABC, CBS or NBC. People who watch the “mainstream” news networks do so SPECIFICALLY because of the liberal bias.

Nothing more than a way for libs to ease their consciences in the face of the horrific reality that has resulted from decades of their policies. Kinda like “comfort food”. Fox News is more like a Moochelle Obama diet of carrot sticks and unsalted crackers to them.

  • ridgerunner

Each of us has the thing that really gets us about this. Mine is that I suspect that Fox worked IN CAHOOTS WITH the GOPe to pull off this stunt. Fox advertising execs wanted to maximize political ad revenue (which would be zilch from Trump) and GOPe wanted to get rid of Trump for two reasons 1) the big donors hated him because he would not be beholding to him and 2) Trump wouldn’t hire a slew of parroting pundits to advise him. So Fox and the GOPe worked to together to tell us common folk to take a hike is just about more than I can even bear to think about. From my vantage point, this is a misuse of their FCC license.

Fox tried to pull off the political equivalent of the knockout game on conservatives. That is not a friend. How are they better than the IRS or Mississippi (GOP Senate Primary) or Boehner and McConnell ignoring us.

  • Annie J

Never in may wildest dreams would have believed the Libs are right. The right is full of hate filled people. I’m ashamed to be associated with the people that are engaging in such Fascist bullying tactics. This is exactly the kind of behavior that causes people to kill themselves. I’ve no doubt you are all okay with that. I pray for Megyn’s sanity and safety. Hopefully decency and civil discourse will triumph here.

  • MPCpiano

So Megyn asked a question that people didn’t like last Thursday. Just think of all the issues she has covered the past few years like PP, Kate Steinle, Hillary scandals, Obama lies, etc. that everyone here agreed with.

And today we have the commercial with Trump saying he wants universal health care, loves Hillary, and thinks we are better off with Democrats.

The standards come conservatives hold people to is ridiculous. From a conservative.

  • doctorwang

Looks like Trump has sent Megyn to the cornfield.
Ailes: ” That’s a real good thing you done, Donald…..a real good thing!”

  • spro23

she’s also approaching menopause, (or possibly there already), god knows how much plastic surgery shes had

  • Asok Asus

Sigh. Kelly and O’Reilly both take their annual vacations about this time every year.

  • Kray

She’s a self absorbed bitch. Time to go.

  • livedwell

If you can’t stand the heat you better stay out of the debates.

  • will jones

she embarrassed herself and she doesn’t want to show her face.

  • Demonrat Plantation

Remember when she started ber show. she wore that bull d yke haircut a la nancy disgrace and then grew it out pretending she wasnt.a man hater.
And then in the debates. She went full man hater mode.

  • MPCpiano

    And replaced with who?

  • Demonrat Plantation

All she had to do was pretend verbally attacking individual women is not the same as attacking all women.
Not hard to do outside of PC’isms.
Tell Megyn Nancy disgrace needs an assistant man hater

  • Kray

I’m sure they can find someone!

  • spro23

exactly…..they all live in gated neighborhoods on the east coast, yet flood our neighborhoods with illegals and tell us to like it.

  • spro23

typical liberal woman – you want us men to pay for your birth control so you can pretend to be ‘independent’

  • Did Glenn Beck say that? Well bless his heart!

  • jaimo

I gotta say I was extremely disappointed in her questioning at the debates. Actually all the questions by all the moderators were mostly stupid. However, after thinking about it, and her track record of going after both sides, I’m willing to give her the benefit of the doubt here. I really enjoy her show and she’s just as hard on the idiots on the other side of the issues as well. She has a great presence and is funny and witty on air and is a joy to watch unlike O’Reilly who just yells over his guests. Let her have her vacation and I guess we’ll see what happens when she gets back.

  • jaimo

They all go on vacation this time of year. Every year. I hate August, when Congress is out and the regulars on Fox take their vacations. The subs are not usually worth catching. Wait till after labor day when they all get back.

  • jaimo

She wasn’t on vacation 3 weeks ago. A day here and there like O’Reilly but not a vacation per se.

  • Tr00th

Annie, you lost probably 20 hateful posts to people here yesterday. Why start off on this foot again?

  • Mrs Libnish

I don’t watch her, so I couldn’t care less. Her performance at the debate showed her to be a snotty hag. So, that sealed the deal for me.

  • 2summer4

This, then is the only time to watch Fox News. Two insufferable, overbearing people taking the oxygen out of the room. Not fun to watch.

  • Sum Ting Wong

Call the waaaaaahhhhhhhbulance!! Annie is ashamed to be a conservative!! Maybe you and Megyn should just get a room together, because it’s pretty obvious that you’re infatuated with her…

Look, she screwed up and made an ass of herself, and just because you’ve got a crush on her doesn’t mean the rest of us do. She’s a media figure and she’s not immune from criticism, especially when she uses her moderating position to advance the agenda of other candidates. You need to quit your crying, open your eyes, and get a life Annie.

  • Leveut

    What is Brit Hume doing?

  • Carl Schattke

The big wigs coerced her into doing their bidding. Dirty business this news stuff the way the bankers hold all the cards. Trump worries them and they hired her to to go after him. He’s used to dealing with snakes and handled the pit quite well.

  • MPCpiano

    Yeah, like Megan McCain.

  • Annie J

There’s a severe shortage of adults here.

  • carnac123

Most likely if she had not asked that question someone else would have somewhere along the line. She thought it was a “gotcha'” question and she could get ‘at-a-girl’ from her fellow women and women reporters.
It backfired. Now…she is probably so upset that everyone does not lover her that she needed some time off. Who knows and who cares !?

  • jainphx

Marching orders were given for sure, but if you had any character at all? Oh well asking one to be principled in Washington or the media, seems to be a bridge too far.

  • jainphx

Or the view next to Woopi!

  • 2Marines

She was on vacay about 6 months sgo, she’s also off every Friday -and btw,who takes a vacay in the MIDDLE of the week? She’s prime time- you don’t take a vacation for 1.5 wk being PT- She lost over 250k vewiers on Tues night, and her ratings are dropping like a hot potato! She’s in a spin, and they know it,she a bimbo bracing for a hard fall.

  • Russel

Fox CYA, not disciplining a minion. I do hope their bottom line shows viewership has dropped into the basement by conservatives. On the other hand, they may have picked up socialist’s tired of Madcow. Ha, so little Meggy is the new darling of the left.

  • jainphx

To set things right, they would have to publicly “can” Geraldo, and Williams. They would need to down grade Krauthammer, and never allow Rove in the studio.

  • Annie J

I thought we had reached the depths of the sewer yesterday. Sadly not. There appears to be a bottomless pit of never ending cruel comments. Here are what has been spewed so far today just for this ONE
    article.

Sleaze sheet is all she’s good for
    Maybe she can become Ellen
    Degererate’s biotch
    Hubris in a blonde…strange? lol
    Payback is a b I t c h
When she butchered her hair (to look
like a man) she was only trying to be her fem-nazi self.
    Poor lil Kelly…lol (foot stomp)
Fox is looking to replace Megyn…with someone younger prettier with no wrinkles by their eyes…..requiring less makeup due to her losing her natural beauty to aging
    Bye bye Megyn “Bimbo” Kelly
    Bimbo (written multiple times)
Megyn went to the Candy Crawley school of b*tchiness
She’s a cold hearted, ruthless socialist in panties
She’s just a misunderstood princess oppressed by that bad man
Take off Megyn’s makeup and she’s the epitome of a French Bulldog (no offence to French Bulldogs) plus, she bleeds from varying orifices
High maintenance employees are such a pain. This diva wannabe is probably one
    of the worst
We may be pissed at her but there is ONE POOR B*STARD married to it!
I bet she’s extremely helpful in the house….wonder if her hubby had balls removed on the honeymoon
Maybe she’ll take the time to get a nose job. Every time I look at her I think Beavis and Butthead. Hehehe….you just said ‘job’ hehehe
She wore that bull d*ke haircut a la nancy disgrace and then grew it out pretending she wasn’t a man hater
    She’s a self absorbed b*tch
    Time to go
    Go and get lost
    Don’t come back
Fox – Let the B*tch GO!
    She needs to be fired
Here’s hoping she don’t come back
Stay on vacation Meg. You nor your program won’t be missed
Heh, Kelly is a Feminist, Amnesty Shill and a closet leftist.
I never liked her and cheer that she got this slap in the botoxed face, courtesy of Donald Trump
Lol too funny. Always nice to see a leftwing pro infaticide yellow “journalist” come out of the closet
This is what happens when you pose semi-nude for GQ magazine
I’m thinking Bill told Megyn to go hard on Trump (no pun) thinking she’d blow it (no pun)
If he reacted softly to her she’d of been disappointed (no pun), if she went too face, he’d of finished too soon (no pun)…lol….funny
Her roots need to be touched up
Megyn is about as phony as they get. Her head is too big for her body.
Typical “victim” Kelly – 1 USA 0, Thanks princess!
Tis the way of misandric, entitled feminists
I like the fancy way she spells her name with a Y. How clever
Petitions against her, ratings drop, death threats, and a sudden vacation, I’d call that a snag..
    We’re denouncing her bullying.
Yup! Nice to see a ‘bully’ get her arse kicked around her earlobes! Wonder if that vodka is
helping soothe that hubris? Foot stomp..lol
Isn’t it nice to be at home barefoot, pregnant and cooking.

And it’s only 10 a.m. MST. I’d bet the ranch, there’s a whole lot more to come.

Amazingly not only are there numerous derogatory remarks directed at women in general the female commenters here aren’t the least offended. In fact, some of these comments are made by other women

You must all be so proud of yourselves.

  • BG

    LOL

    GA Teddi!

  • jainphx

I still like the term Trumpled! References being run over by Trump.

  • Annie J

Take a look a today’s list of cruel comments. Right. I’m the loser. Why start off on this foot again, indeed. It’s nearly impossible to reason with evil, isn’t it?

  • PinkLady74

    Unplanned vacation?

  • terro9000

I don’t think any truthful question is off limits. But if you treat the one Party with kid gloves while savaging the other Party, that is bias. Media bias. Extreme media bias with the intent to alter the outcome of a Presidential debate. That is Treason. But….was Megyn Kelley’s question truthful? It appears to be a major spin job of innuendo. So I think she should be either fired or prosecuted. Yes really. At least shunned and shamed which is what’s happening. She got off easy.

  • jainphx

Yes!!! Control is the key word. We see some run on the tea party mantra and get elected, and then be “controlled” by the elites, only those that buck the system have any character.

  • jainphx

Silencing Rove would be great. No one needs silencing more!

  • terro9000

Megyn destroyed the civil discourse. Lots of us “like” her. But she intentionally tried to manipulate the candidates in a Presidential debate. She has no place around real news now. End of story.

  • jainphx

With the internet you get discussion both pro and con, allowing people to draw their own conclusions. Seems to me places like this give more information than any news reader could possibly give.

  • Ron Stanford

When the history of the Obama administration is written, Fox News will be remembered as the only ones who told the truth.

  • showmanRR

That entire debate performance by Kelly and her two partners in crime was planned from the beginning. This was about impressing their left wing journalist peers and gaining their respect. Obviously the personalities at Fox a have fallen into the trap of wanting to hang with the cool kids. If you hold the right views (liberal) and do the right things professionally you will be invited to the right parties and favorable things will be written about you. You will receive awards and be part of their community but if you don’t tow the liberal line you will be osterized and treated like a leper.

The Fox moderators got what they wanted all the liberal MSM sent accolades their way.

  • Highlander

Perhaps, but Fox News will also be remembered forever as the news outlet that willingly participated in a shameless GOP orchestrated witch hunt ….

  • jainphx

Megyn will take the fall and those who called the shots will remain where they will do it again and again with different Megyns.

  • Ron Stanford

By asking Trump some hard questions?

  • showmanRR

Really? How about this Fox will also be remembered for asking the possible next leader of the free world if he as received a word from God lately or ask about whether he called Rosie O’Donnell a slob. That’s right the country is falling apart and people of America are trying to find the right person to lead us out of this mess and Fox is asking tabloid questions and trying to make Republicans look bad.

Yea Fox is doing their job.

  • jainphx

The fact that they had plans to escort him off the stage is telling. but they were actually surprised at the backlash. Ailes had to apply a tourniquet and fast, but I think “that” was too late, the damage was done.

  • Ron Stanford

Those are questions the Democrats are going to ask.

I promise you that the questions will be much harsher when asked by CNN and the New York Times.

  • jainphx

What really gets me is their real lack of knowing the true feelings of their audience. Can’t get to the top without some knowledge of the pulse of their viewers. This to me was utter disregard for their followers!

  • jainphx

I’ll bet he got more than a simple apology!!!

  • Highlander

So let them ask them doofus. That’s the whole point. This circular firing squad crap that the GOP elite has going on is ridiculous. They don’t call you die-hard GOP guys the party of stupid for nothing …

  • Highlander

They weren’t “hard questions” Ron, they were tabloid-style BS questions and you know it. Just admit it Ron. You’re a GOP shill. If any supposedly “fair and balanced” moderator ever treated a GOP elite candidate like that, you’d be here kicking and screaming about it too.

  • jainphx

Did he say that? Wow this makes their tone deafness harder to understand. It had to be an intensional and designed to take Trump out.

  • jainphx

Funny how fast one can go down when they lose their principles, or seem to. Looks to me like they hid their actual persona well, but nothing lasts forever.

  • jainphx

YES!!!! And they are the ones who should pay the most, but who are they? We can only guess!

  • showmanRR

The RNC as said no more liberal ambushes on their candidates in debates. (I guess FOX didn’t get the memo) So the debates should not have these types of questions going forward. They should be serious questions about policy. Did you notice the different tone and questions in the early debate? Why? Why was the early debate serious and the prime time debate a joke?

As far a liberal journalist asking tabloid questions on the stump, let them. You can’t stop the MSM from trying to get the Dems elected but at least we should not be doing it to ourselves. The thing that is madding about all this is the Dem candidates will never be ask about these types of things and we all know how much material is there. Hillary’s baggage could fill up a airline hanger.

  • Kray

She’s as bad as megan kelly!

  • jainphx

I would pay money to see a debate with the questioners being Rush and Hannity, and Laura Ingraham. Would we get some answers we need about the candidates? You bet.

  • Mike Rowegreshian

Jay, Tell her what she won, Right you are Monty, Megan you have won an all-expense paid vacation to NBC’s Casa de Mujer Liberal. Nestled right in the heart of old leftist New York City. Back to you Monty.

  • Escoffier

They are looking to grow audience (and audience eyeballs thus ad revenue) by going outside of their bread and butter demo which is conservative leaning audience. This has been going on with Kelly for some time (I got tired of her fast talking, face mugging, outrage a year or more ago and she isn’t THAT attractive unless you like the angry pinched look). There is nothing fundamentally wrong with this if they want to have an hour or two of moderates and lefties in their overall programming. But to use her in their primo programming extravaganza (the First Debate!!) to explicitly tick off regular viewers was supremely stupid. They really did not consider cause and effect nor risk analysis of what it would do to their current audience. If they want to go lefty go ahead but don’t whine about what happens or try to justify it.

  • jainphx

    Ha!

  • US.Patriot1776

    Exactly!!
She was complicit in this, but the real issue is the FOX corporate media deciding to ‘take someone out’ based on the fact they disagree with him / her.
That is the true crime here.

“In a time of universal deceit – telling the truth is a revolutionary act.”

    George Orwell

  • jainphx

Say what you saying here! Haha!

  • Highlander

So maybe you’re finally seeing my point then … because not once have I ever said Trump was the right man for the job. What I’m angry and upset about, and I think I speak for a LOT of people, is the fact that the GOP, which always claims to hold the moral high ground, is using a series of slimy, sleazy tactics to systematically eliminate the candidates they don’t want in this race. That’s bulls**t, and it runs contrary to every principle I stand for as a Constitutional Conservative. We expect that sort of crap from the Democrats but it has no place in the Republican Party.

The PEOPLE should decide who gets elected in this country, not a bunch of greedy, arrogant elitists and talking heads who think they have some sort of God-given right to govern this country. So, when I see this sort of thing happening, I’m going to expose it and when I see someone like you coming to the defense of the people orchestrating it, I’m going to call you out on it. The GOP is inches away from losing whatever little remaining support they had from their base with shenanigans like these and they would be wise to wake up and realize that before it’s too late.

  • Jim Maerk

Interesting that this comes a few days after the Big Boss at FOX talks to Trump.

  • Natalie

She should get off her high pony

  • Thegoldman

More like she goes into hiding…

I heard that she went to talk to Whitey Bulger…

Looking for a place to lay-low…

Wile she can find a new hideout ! ! !/

  • jainphx

The actual benefit we received from that debate is yet to be realized. More and more people are now aware of the deceit of Washington and the media. Eyes are being opened that they didn’t count on. To say Trump hasn’t done this country a favor would be foolish! Will he be the candidate in the end, who can say! But I have been saying, and he’s proving some of us right, How important Trump is at this time in our history. he’s bringing so many of the hidden elites out into the open, and for that I stand and applaud.

  • jainphx

Only if we let them! A good swift answer to silly questions should be met with. Are you nuts! and then say questions like that have no place here.

  • jainphx

I’m not sure he did much talking! I bet he did a lot of listening and apologizing.

  • RubyTwoThree

I don’t remember which blog I saw the clip on, it was an interview w/Brett and Wallace giving them an opportunity to say their side of the debate story. They were just pleased as punch w/themselves still believing and thinking they had done a good job. They said they worked really hard on the questions for weeks so that the candidate could’t spin his way out of answering the question. Then they gloated they were so proud of their questions that they had to have a sorbet to cleanse the palate in between questions. It was nauseating listening to them, they were like puffed up chickens strutting their stuff. I will try to find the clip later, it really is worth watching so show how in denial they are and that the rage of the American people is over their heads.

Fox didn’t have a clue just how many unhappy Americans mad as he!! would watch because of Donald Trump, the border, and illegal immigration. They already had their mind made up he was not fit to hold office and how they were going after him from the get go.

Ten minutes into the debate they had managed to insult and have most people in an unbelievable audience of 24 million thinking what is going on here. The biggest audience ever in history on cable and yet a total fail for people who watched to see and hear each candidate. What they saw for the most part was a snarky, smug, attention grabbing attack on Donald Trump. The very man that brought along 24 million viewers. Whoever is responsible for that debacle should take a permanent vacation along with Megyn Kelly. Her behavior was no better than Candy Crowley’s in 2012 against Romney.

  • Mike Smith

You forgot CNN and MSNBC, if were talking tabloid news. lol

  • Isn’t funny that the only casualty in @megynkelly #WarOnWomen campaign will be the #KellyFile

  • Joe D Pufnstuf

Anybody would need a vacation from the death threats by Trump loons.

  • TheRatboy

Oh yeah I forgot about the Gotcha questions from the other world ……so Mr Obama….what color salsa DO you like better red or green??????? GOTCHA!!!!!! FOX viewers want the truth without the BS dance. Kelly and Baier and Wallace went looking for answers and the thin skinned couldn’t handle it and the supporters of Trump got their feelings hurt that thy are supporting a clown!

  • NOBAMA II

I don’t mind the questioning, I just hope when the opportunity is presented that Megyn ask the tough questions to Hillary as well.

    Tramp vs. TRUMP

  • cavt

    Right on. Good analysis,

  • Circa53

    She is Not hawt..
Maybe if she returns she’ll go no panties commando hoping for a ratings boost..

  • cavt

Very true. One wonders if this was an Ailes fig leaf offered as proof of Fox’s sincerity to be fair to Trump–

  • cavt

    Certainly looks that way–

  • cavt

Absolutely right. That idiotic/prejudicial question about ‘word from God’ was as bad as any of the others but gets lost in the Trump questions. What professional asks a question like this?? Do you expect one of the candidates to say ‘sure, God told me last night that we need to get rid of ISIS.’ That’s what the question indicates they were looking for–

  • MW

No blonde remarks, please!! 🙂 🙂

  • tropicgirl

Don’t let the door hit you in the brain, Kelly Meggin… and don’t feel the need to come back…

Congratulations to the morons that told you to make a fool of yourself, probably ending your career… and Congratulations to you for listening to them.

    “Hillary for Prison”

    Outstanding, my man, outstanding! 🙂

  • Xanadu2

The problem with MK questioning, was not that her questions were “tough”, the problem is that with so many serious and pressing national and international issues facing the Nation and the American people, she decided to be the “gender defender journalist”, and ask “war on women” questions, that 1) just gave water to this specious democrat talking point, 2) ignored the real important/pressing issues, 3) Pigeon-holed her as someone more interested in “women’s” issues than the Nations collective issues. Big, slow clap.

  • RockyMtn1776

Any REAL news station would have fired her on the spot !

  • In Your Face

Megyn, you’re FIRED! But, on the bright side……Trump may give you a spot on his next Celebrity Apprentice show…the Bimbo version. LOLZ

  • In Your Face

  • In Your Face

She’s pro queer “marriage” and pro “transgender”…..not too “conservative” by most standards.

Then let the damn libtards ask them……..not “conservative” Fox moderators.

I say move her to Greta time slot and give Greta hers to C how the ratings go. I wish Jesse Watters had his own show and keep the street interviews on it as well. Hannity used to have that time if it is the best then give it back to him since she took it awhile back. We all know Fox will keep her even with lower ratings because the liberals like her.

  • Dian Dean

She’s the best thing they have on FOX. It’s ok for Trump to say anything he wants to say. She was just doing her job. The ones that oppose her are just jealous they aren’t as smart as she is. FOX get behind her she was just doing her job for you. I could say more but it wouldn’t be nice. Thanks for all you do Megyn. You go Megyn!!!!

    https://theconservativetreehouse.files.wordpress.com/2015/07/megyn-kelly-2-rupert-murdoch.jpg?w=960&h=738

Last night on Megyn Kelly’s Fox TV show she announced a 1.5 week vacation
returning on 8/24. Lil Miss stated she hadn’t taken a vacation in six
months. Of course the 8-day memorial day break, and 6-day July Fourth
break, don’t count as vacation for the intense 4 day work-week schedules
of a princess pundit, or something.

    However,
given the scope of the fallout from Megyn’s intentional set-up of
candidate Donald Trump, and the severity of the backlash therein, it’s
not difficult to see why the outline of this NY Magazine article is essentially correct.

Unfortunately for Ms. Kelly, the reality of her position has slapped her in the face like a cold fish.

NY Mag […] Having backed down to the GOP front-runner
and all but sacrificed one of his biggest stars to appease the
conservative base — a.k.a. Fox viewers — Ailes has set
a dangerous precedent. The message is clear: Fox reports, but the
    audience decides. (link)

LOL, only in the mind of a progressive publication would listening to your customer be considered “a dangerous precedent“; I digress. Alas, egos the size of Princess Megyn’s need respite, from the fish. And princesses never eat crow. Obviously, you didn’t hear her interview with Howie Stern. You would have understood the comment. If you did hear the interview and you still hold that impression you probably don’t deserve people’s respect either.

I haven’t watched FOX since the “debate” but logged on to Brett Baier Special Report Wednesday Web Show out of curiosity and only half of the normal number of people were participating. Don’t tell me that ratings are up.

Roger Ailes to Donald Trump: ‘We Resolve This Now… Or Go to War’

Then came an ugly surprise. Trump said on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe” that he thought Kelly should apologize to him.

“This was the final straw for Roger,” according to a source close to the situation.

Ailes’ office called Trump’s office. We “can resolve this now,” Ailes said to Trump, “or we can go to war.”

“Viewers support the bigotry, misogyny, and sexism of Trump. Racism and bigotry are two of the main reasons why Trump is so popular with Republican voters.”

I’m missing the sarcasm here. If there’s no sarcasm and you truly believe that statement, then I have to call you vile names and make fun of your mother’s sex habits.

  • pgroup

She doesn’t do her own lip gloss. Fox News has an entire makeup department.

  • Teddi

    Can’t say I disagree with that list…

  • BlueMax372

Why is none of this surprising?

  • Ron Stanford

If you consider Jeb Bush’s giving Clinton an achiement award and sitting on the same board a deal breaker (which I do) what’s your opinion on the fact that Trump was a registered Democrat six years ago? (He had been registered in New York first as a Republican, then a member of the Independence Party, then a Democrat, then a Republican again, and then became unaffiliated.)

Or that he donated Hillary’s campaign?

  • Michelle Harte

I don’t know anybody that wants to see Jeb Bush as president. He said on the debate “they call me Jeb because I earned it.” What does that even mean?

  • Michelle Harte

Hate to say it should be Trump and Carson. You need the black vote and they will vote for any candidate that is black.

  • Kray

    BYE FELICIA

  • Kray

God I hope the bitch is.

  • Kray

Yet Trump is on hannity nightly.

  • Kray

She did a horrible job. She’s a self absorbed woman that tries more toward looking pretty than being a journalist. She got reamed by viewrs on her Facebook and her twitter. The bitch is taking a vacation, because she’s now HATED, so yeah, you go megyn and don’t come back!! PLEASE. Kennedy should take her place, or Judge Jeanine

  • Kray

But she’s a strong feminist! If she can’t take puches like a man then keep that smart mouth shut. I don’t think the bitch was getting threats.

  • I expected so much more from her. LOL, oh wait. No I didn’t. I don’t separate the %^&$ing hacks at FOX from MSNBC or any of the other media slobberers. What I wouldn’t give for a news man or woman actually interested in reporting factual, true, NEWS from the political front. But no…

  • Joe D Pufnstuf

So according to the way you measure strength, how do you rate Trump whining about Miss Kelly’s tough questions and calling her names? Do you think that makes him a big he-man? Or a whiner who can’t take it? Whereas Miss Kelly has been through the wringer of people on social media calling her obscene names and threatening to kill her. It would be enough to send Trump curling into the fetal position sucking his thumb.

  • cuckservativeking

The Cuckold Caucus is on the run nationwide.

  • Kray

She was supposed to ask questions about foreign policy, the economy.. not go after him like a rabid dog. It wasn’t good journalism. She went after the man and she got put in her place. Good ridens bimbo!

  • Joanie Bartelson

    So, defending women is wrong?

  • Joanie Bartelson

    And Trump is perfect? Gag…

  • Joanie Bartelson

Moron, always a sexual retort without much logic. The civilized world is gone. The barbarians have forced open the gate. Want to see all the posts attacking men for their ‘short’ comings.

  • Joanie Bartelson

Moron. Just insulting, get off your knees and stand up.

  • Joanie Bartelson

So what does FOX require from men. The bald heads, the double chins? Not even close.

  • Outraged

The point is that Kelly wasn’t hired to defend women, she was hired to read the news, and in this case, to moderate a debate between several Presidential hopefuls. The subject matter of the debate should have been focused on the relevant political issues of the day, not on a bunch of sensational tabloid trash, and the questions should have been relevant and identical for each candidate, with equal time being given to each candidate to address them.

Now I’m not saying that women’s rights have no place in a Presidential debate, but the fact that she only asked ONE candidate those nasty questions tells us that her line of questioning had nothing to do with women’s rights, and everything to do with smearing Trump. She was out of line, she got what she deserved for doing it, and I’d be delighted if she never set foot on the Fox News set again.

  • #1 Bimbo, Kelly is not running for Pres.
#2. Go look at his issues.
    Google:
    “On the issues”
    Key in Trump.

I am talking abt Bimbo, not Trump. She is wrong to Q about tweets from 2006.
Nobody give a sh’t about that

  • Women are just fine, you act like we are oppressed.
You want female oppression, go take a good look at the women in the M.east

  • The nation needs to come first, not hormones.

  • I don’t buy that. That’s the same racism the Democrats hawk, and as a recovering (former) Dem I just don’t buy it. I think Carson could win on his merits, but this may not be the best election for quiet contemplative intellect. He’s make an outstanding president. The only time his race should be a consideration would be in determining how much sun block President Carson might need on vacation in sunny climes.

  • Yu So Wong

Hatchet Barbie just left The Death Star in her escape pod.

  • fred

…………….maybe we will get lucky and she will stay away until after the election…………..you done wrong Kelly

  • Dennis Dumas

Good suggestion, been watching it all week! It seems my remote won’t allow me to select Fox News anymore, lol!

  • MC Slammer

Can we make copies of that remote and distribute them?

  • pat

I agree she was terrible but EVERY question was discussed with Wallace and Bret. Tons of debate prep was done as a group. Wallace should NOT be getting a pass. More importantly FOX bosses APPROVED them.

  • pat

Exactly, THEY all screwed up. Wallace needs to be scrutinized as well.

  • David Perez
  • Yu So Wong

Hatchet Barbie could lose her edge on a long vacation. We will axe her when she gets back.

  • tina

She needs to leave FOX and join MSNBC. Her debate manners were way out of line!

  • Dak Zane

Only moron is you. Up tight repressed femme a natzi. No interest into the issues. Just wants to be a man but. Bitch about women not getting treated like a woman. Yet disposed men for lunch ming women for those qualities. Make up your mind d. Moron. Here’s one for you. I’d love ve to shag M.Kelly, she messed up. And she’s a liberal. But dammit she’s beautiful, and umm mm mm I could spend days in the sack straightening G her out. U should look I to some of that…moroness

  • Dak Zane

Your the moron. Your on the wrong page, femme a natzi liberal. Jewess was right, its about the country, not hormones, or your staunch hate for anything sexual, neanderthal she says, how’s this. M.Kelly may have screwed up. But I’d love to shag her. Two reasons, one, because she’d see things much different when I was finished, and two, she is crazy hot and turns me on. That must piss u off. U need a vacation too. Take one. Moron

  • pjt

Poor Megyn needs a break !!!!

  • Mike in Illinois

Fox acts just like the other parties, the other factions. When something uncomfortable happens, especially a situation backfiring of their own foolish choices, they just act like it never happened. Kinda reminds a person of Hillary and barack and, well, the rest of the corrupt criminals running the show……huh?

  • Mike in Illinois

Beans, what sense does it make to “schedule” vacations right after the first debate? Its all a bunch of false narrative. Its just ratings seeking, drama creation. It is time to ignore Fox, hit em where it hurts. Turn em off. Turn all of em off.

  • Conservative Rebel

It certainly does, and that’s what the new way of dealing with things are these days it seems, just ignore it and move on and pretend it never happened.

  • mark

Megyn was salivating when hitting Trump….giggling and joking, showing total disrespect to the 10 candidates,

  • FrenchLozenge

My apologies if you were personally offended by my comment! I call it like I see it without worrying about the PC element which only forces us to be emotionally dishonest with our personal feelings on any given subject- I will use a more general term in future which I’m quite sure will bring only more ‘ire’ from other people that will offended. Only way to ensure everyone happy is to remain silent and say nothing; accept my apology for offending you- not my intent, at all as it was meant to offend the person that made the mistake of a career.. as it was clearly earned.

  • MW

There was absolutely no offense taken! I did put two little smiley faces on it, so I’m surprised you thought I was upset. Have no worry – I laugh at blonde jokes right along with everybody else. I have a good sense of humor & am definitely NOT thin skinned…..thanks for your thoughtful reply, though.

  • FrenchLozenge

    MW,
Too be honest, your reply to mine truly made my day-
I was going to cancel (disquss -bcuz it doesn’t always provide a healthy or positive outlet; seems to bring out bad and not best-
However, I say what is on my mind without having to say I’m sorry, nor explain my 2 cents when i give a smarta** comment then go about my business…and even 4get about it….lol hence, this forum to get it (whatever) off my chest without offending anyone… knowing full well someone is..while simply blowing off steam.. blah, blah. Its only one guys thoughts…THAT is what made my day.. Your sincere and thoughtful reply which showed it does have a good side, which is the basic quality of human decency with respect for others.. too cool, Thank you!

  • MW

Wow, I don’t even know what to say! Thank you?

Keep on doing what you’re doing! I appreciate your class…..
