Earlier today, news broke that beloved news anchor Maria Bartiromo was out at FOX News and FOX Business Network.
Maria has been a trusted morning anchor at FOX for over 12 years.
Bartiromo has been noticeably absent from her time slot for weeks.
As Cristina Laila reported earlier, FOX News Media released a statement on her departure.
Effective today, Maria Bartiromo is no longer with FOX News Media.
In making the announcement, FOX News Media said, “We thank Maria for her work over the last 12 ½ years and wish her all the best on her next chapter.”
The last episode of Mornings with Maria (6-9 AM/ET) aired this morning on FOX Business Network (FBN) and the show will transition to Mornings with FOX Business beginning tomorrow with rotating anchors. Maria Bartiromo’s Wall Street which also airs weekly on FBN (Fridays, 7-7:30 PM/ET) will shift to FBN’s Wall Street effective this week hosted by Cheryl Casone and helmed by rotating anchors thereafter. FBN will also launch a new weekday programming schedule which will be announced in the coming weeks.
Additionally, FOX News Channel’s (FNC) Sunday Morning Futures (10-11 AM/ET) will be hosted by Jason Chaffetz this Sunday and a new host will be announced at a later date.
Now we are hearing more about the possible reason FOX News parted ways with Maria Bartiromo.
According to Dylan Byers from Puck News, Bartiromo was let go after they nixed her story on China and 2020 election fraud.
Bartiromo then reportedly notified the White House that FOX did not let her pursue the story.
FOX News found out and fired her.

There are reports tonight that Bartiromo hired famed attorney Bryan Freedman following her abrupt firing.
