Two polio workers were killed in a bomb blast in the tribal regions of Pakistan. A total of nineteen polio workers have been killed in the region in the last two months.
The UPI reported:

Two workers administering polio vaccinations in the northwestern tribal regions of Pakistan have been killed by a roadside bomb, officials say.

Some 19 polio vaccination workers have now died in attacks in Pakistan in the last two months, Geo TV reported Thursday.

The men were killed by a roadside bomb as they visited a village in the upper Kurram tribal region, said Jawal Ali, the head of the campaign in that area.

No group claimed responsibility for the deaths, but the Taliban last year banned such vaccinations in Waziristan, terming the effort a cover for espionage.

Five female health workers involved in administering the polio vaccine were murdered in Pakistan in December.

We should respect the wishes of that culture and let them all die of Polio.

Pakistanis are living in our countries, and they hate us and want to kill us. Their children grow up to hate us and want to kill us. Enough said, although sad.

You can’t help those that don’t want to be helped. A simple truth that is beyond govts to understand.

Polio workers? Didn’t we rid ourselves of that disease back in the 60’s? Yet, they’re still trying to rid their society of it in 2013? Oh wait, it’s Bush’s fault. Nevermind, carry on.

Bomb Blast Kills Two More Polio Workers in Pakistan

There is no reason whatsoever for there to be any “polio workers” over there. If Pakistanis are determined to kill themselves off, it would be the height of stupidity to throw obstacles into their path.

I do, I really do, want to respect Islam and other countries, and then we get another story like this. Their leadership, religious and political, keep them in ignorance and fear.

Wanna time-travel to the 9th century??? Visit sunny Pahhhkeestahhhhn. BTW, still would like to know how Barry got a visa to go there in 1979 at a time when AMERICANS could not get one. Hmmmmm.

  • Francesca

Can we just quarantine the whole country and let them refuse all vaccinations/healthcare, etc? So long as they can’t infect the rest of us, let them infect one another to their hearts’ content. People like that cannot be helped against their will.

i truly don’t believe Islam can be respected, not even by those who
claim it as their religion, besides, it’s not a religion, it’s a poligion..

Currently in Pakistan they have bomb blast for Polio workers wait and see the next time car bomb happens in America.

  • dunce

When they say they are doing it for the children it is not a sham scam to cover another attack on our liberty as it too often is in this country. As in teachers pensions, fancy lounges, and covered parking are “for the children”.

  • lynno

Is this the polio program sponsored and paid by Bill Gates foundation?

    lynno #18 January 31, 2013 at 8:26 pm

    believe so..

  • Actually, this has been a Rotary Foundation goal for thirty years – to eradicate polio worldwide. The Bill Gates Foundation has given Rotary matching funds in Rotary’s efforts – he did not start this campaign to end polio, Rotary did.

It is important to stop this disease. Borders don’t keep people in or out, so we can’t just not try to treat Pakistanis – there are thousands of them working here in the USA under H1B Visas, and they go home for vacation.
