Obama Saw Welfare Class As Major Voting Bloc to Push His Progressive Redistributive Agenda

Years before he became president Barack Obama saw a growing welfare class as a major voting bloc to push his progressive agenda.
Today, since he took over the White House.
** 1 in 7 Americans is on food stamps
** 1 in 16 Americans is on disability
Now there is audio of Obama from 1998 where he said he saw a growing welfare class as a way to further his progressive agenda.
The Daily Caller reported, via Marooned in Marin:
The Daily Caller has obtained a complete audio recording of the October 19, 1998 Loyola College forum on community organizing and policymaking during which a future President Barack Obama said he favored the government redistribution of wealth. The audio demonstrates the context of that remark and reveals other far-left positions that Obama held as a state senator.
Those positions encompass issues as wide-ranging as gun control, universal health care and welfare reform. Obama also said he viewed welfare recipients and “the working poor” as “a majority coalition” that could be mobilized to help advance progressive policies and elect their champions.
But Obama’s voice is heard during more than 29 minutes of the recording, including his prepared remarks and his answers to questions from the audience. At one point on the tape he suggests that the “working poor” on welfare are a political voting bloc that can be harnessed.
Obama is also heard lamenting Americans’ distrust of “government action”; identifying his political opponents — that is, Republicans — as “the bad guys”; declaring his support for labor unions and community organizers; endorsing the public financing of political campaigns; and staking out liberal positions on gun control, government-run health care and welfare reform.
Many of those positions, he conceded, had “no chance of seeing the light of day in Springfield” — the Illinois state capital — “or in Washington.”

The problem with his theory is…..you’ve got to “judge” winners and losers to plan this redistribution. Obama’s judgement is nothing more than opinion….and he takes himself way too seriously. He is one screwed up judge and jury.

The problem is that you will only hear about this on conservative websites like this. The majority of people get their news from mainstream media which agrees with these policies. Unfortunately Romney won’t have the electoral numbers to defeat him. He will win the popular vote but loose the election due to our antiquated system. These types of policies will get rammed down the pike without concern all the while demonizing the conservative politicos. As you saw in Chicago he will mobilize his base in large numbers possibly put Michelle on the next ticket and chances are we will never regain the White House and politicians will start to soften their stance on progressive policies because getting re elected and being part of the ruling class is better than the alternative. The end is here better get used to it because all the talking and posting isn’t gonna change it.

One of the many mistakes of 2008 was the neglect to define what a community organizers do. Their roles is to divide people into special interest blocks by engendering a false sense of entitlement and resentment. The very skill sets Obama developed as a community organizer are those he uses to “govern” as President.

Democrats want people on welfare as a permanent voting block.
They will spend hundreds of billions of dollars to keep people there so every two and four years they can keep their job.

I dislike with the white hot intensity of a thousand suns the way he says the word, “SHOT,” as if it IS a bullet. And it IS.
That and “fair share”. Hannity last night did a clip with obama saying that it different settings over and over, and it was all I could do not to give my tv a “fair shot.”
