The liberal media has also ignored the several items of evidence that Barack Obama’s mother was a porn star in her early years. Racy photos of Barack Obama’s mother, Ann Dunham, have recently surfaced in vintage fetish and bondage magazines.

The Choom Gang

A self-selected group of boys at Punahou School who loved basketball and good times called themselves the Choom Gang. Choom is a verb, meaning “to smoke marijuana.”

But, the liberal media is traveling all the way to Macau to dig up dirt on GOP donor Sheldon Adelson.

PBS is accusing Adelson of criminal activity.

some of the methods Adelson used in Macau to save his company and help build a personal fortune estimated at $25 billion have come under expanding scrutiny by federal and Nevada investigators, according to people familiar with both inquiries.

Internal email and company documents, disclosed here for the first time, show that Adelson instructed a top executive to pay about $700,000 in legal fees to Leonel Alves, a Macau legislator whose firm was serving as an outside counsel to Las Vegas Sands.

The company’s general counsel and an outside law firm warned that the arrangement could violate the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act. It is unknown whether Adelson was aware of these warnings. The Foreign Corrupt Practices Act bars American companies from paying foreign officials to “affect or influence any act or decision” for business gain.

Everyone has their priorities. Isn’t it time we defund PBS?

    If U.S. House Republicans get their way, NPR and the Public Broadcasting System (PBS) stand to lose their federal funding, according to ABC News. ABC explained that the proposed cuts are a way for Republicans to hamstring what they see as “liberal” programming.

    This latest proposal to eliminate funding comes after House Republicans in November attempted unsuccessfully to pull funding from NPR after the national public radio network fired news analyst Juan Williams — who regularly appears on conservative Fox News talk shows — for comments he made about Muslims.

    The Los Angeles Times called the proposed cuts “political, not practical,” as the money saved does not contribute much toward balancing the federal budget.

    Campaigns, such as 170 Million Americans for Public Broadcasting, and MoveOn.org, have launched petition drives to protect funding for NPR and PBS.

    Farai Chideya wrote for the Huffington Post that saving NPR and PBS is about saving “our own access to information and community.”

    However, “Nothing turns a watchdog into a lapdog faster than the government buying the dog food,” said Seton Motley, president of Less Government, as quoted by Broadcasting & Cable.

    On the PBS NewsHour, liberal analyst Mark Shields rarely has anything good to say about Mitt Romney, which is quite a contrast with his partner, Obama-infatuated “conservative” David Brooks.

    He claimed on Friday night that Romney had a great strength that’s been overlooked, and then cracked that Mitt sure knows how to evade taxes:

    MARK SHIELDS: There is one great strength here that Romney does have, and I think it’s been overlooked. And that is, the Republican position has been, we want to increase revenue without raising the rates. So that means closing tax loopholes or tax expenditures. There’s nobody who knows more about tax loopholes and tax expenditures than Mitt Romney. (Laughter) I mean, he brings an extra. . .

    JUDY WOODRUFF, anchor: I thought you were about to say this is positive.

    MARK SHIELDS: No, that is positive. (Laughter) He understands it. This is a guy who could sit down with the tax code and explain it.

    Shields began by insisting that Obama had Romney on the ropes will all the attacks on Romney’s finances and business management:

    MARK SHIELDS: But every campaign starts with the very simple procedure of sitting down with your own candidate and going through what is there in your background, whether it’s of a personal nature, or a failed romance, or a legal decision or whatever, that could come out and hurt your campaign.

    If Anyone Is A Criminal, It’s Obama

    [I’m not sure which is worse: Obama’s pernicious mendacity, the people who unquestioningly accept it, or the Republican’s disgustingly vapid responses to same. Obama and his campaign have had the unmitigated gall to suggest that Mitt Romney is a felon. And, before Obama sycophants say that’s not what he said, let me point out that my statement is not ipse dixit. Obama, et al, saying that “it’s impossible to be sure Romney isn’t a criminal” is precisely the same as calling him a criminal.

    And, as long as I’m on the subject, here’s another question for Obama. Insofar as he is attacking Romney for engaging in what Obama claims amounts to criminal behavior, we should demand he tell us the circumstances surrounding both he and his wife being forced to surrender their law licenses. No lawyer surrenders their law license without cause and in every instance I am aware of a lawyer surrendering their law license it has been as a result of criminal behavior on their part. So tell us why the two of them haven’t told us the truth about why they surrendered their licenses.

    Does Obama think there’s a difference between his falsely smearing Romney and the fact that his administration includes more than 40 known tax cheats? And, it should be mentioned, that’s without Tom Daschle who could not get through the nomination process because of his epic tax frauds. And it should be further noted, that the disgraced former Congressman and governor, John Corzine is his chief campaign bundler. He is the man Obama has publicly praised on numerous occasions who is responsible for $1.6 billion in missing MF Global client funds. Doesn’t he think Corzine’s corruption and mismanagement rises to a level above that which he accuses Romney?

    Let’s have Obama explain why he hasn’t insisted that his Justice Department comply fully and without delay in the ongoing criminal investigation into the illegal, international gun-running enterprise conducted by the Federal Government.

    The lists of things Obama has to answer for is legion. If he is interested in stirring up fallacious accusations against Romney, there are plenty of factual accusations he himself needs to explain, not least of which is his demonstrably bad record while in office.

    The one thing about Romney that cannot be denied is his successful record of accomplishments in business and with Bain Capital. Obama’s record of accomplishment as a community organizer suggests only that he knew and still knows how to successfully employ blackmail, bigotry, and how to foment discord to further a divisive agenda.

    His record as president resulted in the greatest democrat losses on a state and federal level in 75 years in the 2010 off-year elections. His record is 14-plus percent factual unemployment, 23.2 million persons unemployed and $15.8 trillion deficit that has increased a trillion dollars every year during his presidency. His record as president has resulted in 63 percent of the nation standing adamant in their opinion that he is responsible for the country going in the wrong direction.

    No wonder he wants to drum up lies about someone else; he
    is terrified about being forced to explain his record and past.    ]
