Obama Thanks the Military… Sends Bill to Congress That Triples Their Healthcare Premiums

Don’t think for a second that Barack Obama does not appreciate the military.
He’s the first one to admit they make a great photo-op.
Barack Obama sent to Congress today his bill that triples the premiums service people, their families, and retirees will have to pay for TRICARE medical coverage.
It’s his special way of thanking the military for keeping America safe.
The bill will increase in health care premiums for service members.
The Examiner reported:
President Barack Obama’s recent behavior is either an attempt to write off any remaining votes that he may have expected from the U.S. military, or simply have them “self-migrate” into Obamacare, by using his presidential force majeure.
The Washington Free Beacon reported today that contained within the 2013 Department of Defense budget, submitted by Secretary Leon Panetta, projecting $487 billion in game-changing cuts, is a provision which proposes increases in health care payments by service members, which seeks to reduce the Tricare [military] medical system $1.8 billion in 2013, and a total of $12.9 billion by 2017.
To achieve the budget cut goals requires substantial Tricare annual premium increases of between 30 to 78 percent in the first year; after which, the plan will impose five-year increases ranging from 94 percent to 345 percent–3 times greater than current levels.
This comes after he cut pay for active duty service members serving in harm’s way earlier this month.

I don’t believe “self migration” is allowed. Generally service members don’t even get a choice of insurance plans. Certainly they didn’t when I was a military wife and my disabled Vet father never had a choice of plan.

Barry the Marxist hates the military. When you have a Marxist state (his dream), you don’t really have an army, you have a police state. Barry wants the police state so bad he can taste it . It is reflected in everything he does. Organize. Educate. Agitate.

As a Marine widow with two children for over a dozen years, I can tell you right now there is NO WAY I’d have been able to make it on my survivor benefits plus my part time job (you cannot get a fulltime job or you jeopardize your benefits) if our health care cost share had been more. It was actually worse during the Clinton years and got better I believe after Republicans took control of congress in ’94, actually a little better each year. But as the widow of a 1st Lieutenant with 14 years’ service, I could barely make it each month.
This is going to KILL so many young, struggling families, not just older, retired vets on their fixed incomes.
This man is evil, and if the Republicans want to win, they’d better start hollering to the rafters all of the egregious crap Obama has done to the troops and their families.
Remember what happened in 2004 when people started learning about John Kerry? It didn’t matter if you were a longtime Democrat, if you were a veteran or a family member, you crossed party lines to vote against Kerry. The same thing could prevail here, if only the Republicans were smart enough to explain to the people and make it an issue. Instead they get tricked into having the dumb contraception debate. Just stupid.
Newt, imo, is the only one who will fight enough to beat Obama and he’s the one with the most substance behind a claim of supporting the troops. Let’s hear it from Newt! I’m in GA and am about to call the Rusty Humphries radio show to tell him in person!

Remember that the POS said he was going to have a “force stronger and larger” than the military BEFORE he was elected. The first process is decimating not only those serving in the military but discouraging anyone from joining the miltary. After all, they are taught discipline, honor, and alligence to country…can’t have that! The second step is to make as many as possible totally dependent on his vision of government – unionization, govt employee or unable to find any kind of employment so that there is total dependence on the govt for food, clothing, or any type of subsistence. I can only hope and pray that enough people realize this and get off their butt and vote against him – even if it’s Elmer Fudd or Daffy Duck. Read Ameritopia by Mark Levin and you will see exactly what is occurring and what we have to look forward to with that being hell on earth with the POS as dictator-in-chief.
