Update number 3: A security guard was killed in the shooting, according to The New York Times.
Update number 4: Five people are dead, including two teen shooters, police said.
The two shooters died of self-inflicted gunshot wounds.

The San Diego Police Department was on scene at the Islamic Center of San Diego on Monday afternoon amid reports of an active shooter.
At least two people are dead, and multiple people are injured.
The motive for the shooting is unclear.
The suspect has not been identified.
“SDPD is on scene at the Islamic Center of San Diego in the 7000 block of Eckstrom Ave for a reported active shooter,” San Diego police said.
“Please avoid the area. Updates to follow,” they said.

San Diego Mayor Todd Gloria released a statement on the shooting.
“I am aware of the active shooter situation at the Islamic Center of San Diego in Clairemont and am continuing to receive updates from law enforcement. Emergency personnel are on scene and actively working to protect the community and secure the area,” he said.

The San Diego Police identified Cain Clark, 17, and Caleb Vasquez, 18, as the shooters. The two killers were found dead in their vehicle blocks away from the Islamic Center.
