President Trump on Friday reacted to former National Security Advisor John Bolton accepting a plea deal in the classified documents case, telling reporters he’s “paying the price for certainly being dishonest.” Bolton was charged for allegedly sending “highly sensitive” classified materials to family members from a private, unsecured email server while he was working at the White House during the first Trump administration and using classified documents to write his book titled “The Room Where It Happened.” The FBI raided Bolton’s home last summer, where they discovered classified emails.

Multiple election fraud investigations in California are currently underway with the FBI and the US Attorney’s Office in Los Angeles, as ballot counting for Tuesday’s primary election continues.  First Assistant US Attorney for the Central District of California Bill Essayli said his office is conducting a “comprehensive audit of California’s voter rolls” with the DOJ’s Civil Rights Division on Friday.

Israel launched multiple strikes in southern Lebanon on Friday after agreeing to a ceasefire with the Lebanese government but not with Hezbollah.  Fighting continued on Thursday into Friday after Hezbollah rejected a ceasefire between Israel and Lebanon, describing the agreement as “false” and an “illusion.” CBS reported early on Wednesday, Under the terms of the renewed ceasefire, Israel and Lebanon agreed Wednesday to create a number of “pilot” security zones inside Lebanon from which the militant group Hezbollah would be banned.

President Trump sounded the alarm on California on Thursday, telling reporters, “They’re rigging the election,” as counting continues across the state and key races for California governor and Los Angeles mayor remain undecided.  As The Gateway Pundit reported, Los Angeles mayoral candidate Spencer Pratt had surged on election night, taking an early lead over Democratic Councilwoman Nithya Raman and trailing incumbent Democrat Mayor Karen Bass by a slim margin.

President Trump on Thursday told reporters that Joe Biden was “the same guy I had been watching for a long time” when he last met with Biden in 2024, denying that he was having cognitive health issues.   Clearly, Biden was out to lunch for four years, but Trump says he was just “never the sharpest guy.” This is a departure from Trump’s previous antics of imitating Biden on stage at his rallies.
