US District Judge Beryl Howell, an Obama appointee, blocked part of President Trump’s executive order barring employees from DNC law firm Perkins Coie from entering federal buildings.
Beryl Howell granted Perkins Coie’s request for a TRO for part of Trump’s executive order and said the president violated the law firm’s due process.
“Howell granted the firm’s request for a temporary restraining order for some sections of Trump’s order. The parts being blocked include its limitations on government contracts with clients of the firm and the potential restrictions it puts on the firm’s employees, such as bans on hiring those employees for government positions or barring their access to federal buildings,” CNN reported.
Beryl Howell told the DOJ lawyer that it sent “chills down my spine” to hear that Trump has the power to bar government business with any company it chooses.
“Your view is, ‘Don’t be chilled, judge. You can just trust the president to draw the right line, and yes, he has that power?’” Howell asked, according to CNN. “And that’s the government’s position here?”
“100 percent,” Chief of Staff to Attorney General Pam Bondi Chad Mizelle said. “The president has every right to take that action.”

President Trump last week stripped security clearances of the employees at DNC law firm Perkins Coie.
Recall that Hillary Clinton and the DNC paid law firm Perkins Coie more than $1 million to hire oppo research firm Fusion GPS to peddle the bogus ‘Trump-Russia’ dossier during the 2016 election.
Former British spy Christopher Steele compiled over a dozen memos alleging the Russians had blackmail on Trump and that his associates were conspiring with the Kremlin to win the 2016 election.
The memos were made into a largely debunked dossier that was eventually published by BuzzFeed on January 10, 2017.
Perkins Coie and Hillary Clinton were behind the hoax.
In 2022, the FEC fined Clinton and said her campaign violated the rules because they failed to disclose payments funneled to Fusion GPS through DNC law firm Perkins Coie.
Hillary Clinton got a light slap on the wrist for her crimes.
Last week President Trump said it’s an honor to sign the executive order stripping security clearances of the employees at Perkins Coie.

Beryl Howell is a rabid Trump hater who ruled against Trump at every turn during the Jack Smith inquisition.
Recall that Judge Howell flipped Trump’s own lawyer, Eric Corcoran, into a witness in Jack Smith’s classified documents case when she obliterated Trump’s attorney-client privilege in a ruling.
Judge Beryl Howell previously went on an unhinged rant during a speech where she suggested that the country is creeping towards authoritarianism. Not because of her uber-partisan actions as a lawless judge but because Donald Trump is a tyrant.

- She seized a congressman’s phone, which was overturned by the DC circuit.
- She made Trump’s attorneys turn over attorney-client privilege records and didn’t give them time to appeal before she made them turn them over.
- She went after Twitter with illegal warrants with Jack Smith to get all of the records that the government is not entitled to have.
- She is a left-wing activist.
