President Trump Squashes Rumors That He Will Replace Mike Pence With Nikki Haley in 2020

President Donald Trump has squashed rumors that he would be considering replacing Vice President Mike Pence with former UN Ambassador Nikki Haley in 2020.

The president was asked about the rumors by “Fox & Friends” co-host Ainsley Earhardt during a call with the show on Friday.

“Mike Pence is a great vice president, he’s our man 100 percent,” Trump said.

The rumors picked up steam when the anonymous “administration official” who penned the infamous “resistance” New York Times op-ed, published a new book titled A WARNING. The book claimed that the administration had considered replacing Pence with Haley to improve support among women.

“On more than one occasion, Trump has discussed with staff the possibility of dropping Vice President Pence in advance of the 2020 election,” the book claimed.

President Trump had kind words for the aggressively hawkish neoconservative, however, saying that she would be part of his 2020 campaign.

“She is a friend of mine, she endorsed me with the most beautiful endorsement you’ve ever heard,” he said. “She did a great job at the U.N.”
