A Republican candidate for Congress is facing backlash after she filmed herself confronting a biological man wearing a wig who was using the women’s bathroom at a Denny’s in Los Angeles.
Jazmina Saavedra, who’s running as a Republican candidate for U.S. Congress in California’s 44thDistrict, is heard on video stating, “I’m trying to use the ladies’ room and there is a man here claiming that he is a lady.”Saavedra continued, “They put us in danger … a woman like me trying to use the ladies’ room with a man inside saying he’s a lady.”
