Twitter Only Verifying Anti-Gun Parkland Shooting Students, Not the Pro-2A Students

Twitter has been rushing to bluecheck verify and promote students who survived the tragic school shooting  at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida — as long as they fit the liberal agenda.

Parkland shooting survivor Kyle Kashuv has not been promoted or verified by Twitter, though he has also being outspoken in the media. The difference between him and his peers who are now verified with hundreds of thousands of followers is that Kashuv supports the Second Amendment.

In less than 10 days, Emma Gonzalez has amassed nearly 900,000 followers on her verified account. Likewise, Sarah Chadwick has gained over 200,000; Jaclyn Corin has 53,000; and Cameron Kasky has 221,000 — all verified.

Meanwhile, Kashuv has a little over 1,000 and has not been verified or promoted in the many Twitter moments focused on the teen survivors. The discrepancy was first noticed by NRA member Ryan Moore.

Kashuv has been fiercely defending the NRA and gun rights, while placing blame where it belongs — on those who failed to protect the students.

Appearing on Fox News on Sunday, Kashuv blasted Sheriff Scott Israel over his petulant tantrum he directed at the NRA during the CNN town hall while his own officer stayed armed outside the school and failed to go inside and stop the shooter.

“It’s absolutely outrageous to me that at the CNN town hall, we had the sheriff, who was virtue signaling against the NRA and against guns when he didn’t act properly. The armed officer at our school waited outside with the sheriff and his men for four minutes while my classmates died while he sat outside and waited. Then he turns around and says guns are the issue when he failed to act properly,” Kashuv stated.

He added that Israel “absolutely needs to resign. He failed to act on so many different levels. And he himself is responsible for this massive failure. This could have been stopped by the FBI, and the sheriff’s department had they acted.”

Kashuv has been deleting his tweets and changing his bio, likely receiving backlash for going against the anti-gun narrative his classmates have been pushing.
