New York Times Released Harvey Weinstein Bombshell to Bury O’Keefe’s Damaging Undercover Video

It appears The New York Times released the Harvey Weinstein story in order to bury the O’Keefe bombshell report exposing the failing paper.

In a video announcement released on September 18th, Project Veritas founder and guerrilla journalist James O’Keefe warned his organization was currently operating one of the biggest ever investigations into the mainstream media’s ‘holy grail,’ promising media people will likely lose their jobs over the imminent exposé.

O’Keefe hinted he was targeting the New York Times in a cryptic tweet he sent out on August 7th.

On October 4th, James O’Keefe tweeted, “NEXT WEEK: Our next groundbreaking video targets the holy grail of the MSM. Undercover ops still in the field… Stay tuned.”

The very next day on October 5th, The New York Times blew the roof off of the decades long ‘open secret’ in Hollywood that Harvey Weinstein was essentially a sexual predator who preyed on young starlets. Weinstein reportedly paid off several sexual harassment accusers over the years.

An investigation by The New York Times found previously undisclosed allegations against Mr. Weinstein stretching over nearly three decades, documented through interviews with current and former employees and film industry workers, as well as legal records, emails and internal documents from the businesses he has run, Miramax and the Weinstein Company.

During that time, after being confronted with allegations including sexual harassment and unwanted physical contact, Mr. Weinstein has reached at least eight settlements with women, according to two company officials speaking on the condition of anonymity.

The New York Times had the story all the way back in 2004 and squashed it after Weinstein himself appeared at the NYT headquarters and muscled the paper into silence, so now all of a sudden they are eager to throw the producer under the bus and open the flood gates? The timing is very suspicious.

Since this bombshell story was published last Thursday, there has been a slow drip of stories on Weinstein.

On Tuesday morning at around the exact same time O’Keefe dropped his damaging undercover video of The New York Times, the paper dropped a huge story on Weinstein which included Gwyneth Paltrow and Angelina Jolie

The story was so big that it dominated the Drudge Report’s most coveted space–his headline–in HUGE red letters. Underneath the headline in red is O’Keefe’s story.

If the New York Times hadn’t dropped the bombshell that Gwyneth Paltrow and Angelina Jolie were now speaking out about Weinstein’s harassment on top of The New Yorker’s story alleging he raped three women, certainly O’Keefe’s story would be dominating Drudge’s headline. (screenshot below)

There is no such thing as coincidences is politics. The New York Times had to distract the media cycle with a story that had the possibility of eclipsing a James O’Keefe bombshell undercover video.

This only proves how powerful Project Veritas and alternative media have become.

Expect more Weinstein bombs to drop as Veritas releases more footage of the New York Times.
