A woman has reportedly been beheaded by a group of armed men in Afghanistan after she entered a city without her husband.

The horrific act took place in the remote village of Latti in Sar-e-Pul province, which is under Taliban control.

Provincial Governor spokesman Zabiullah Amani told the Nation that the 30-year-old woman was targeted because she went out alone without her husband, who is in Iran.

The Middle East Press reported the woman had gone to the market to shop.

Under Taliban rule women are prohibited from leaving their homes unless accompanied by a close male relative.

They are also banned from working or education and are forced to wear the burqa.

The Taliban have rejected any involvement in this latest incident.

This must be the ‘progressive’ Sharia law that the liberals love so much and embrace. Even though this woman was most likely fully cloaked, she was beheaded for the crime of going to the market to shop for necessities without a male relative. This type of oppression and abuse of women is not exclusive to remote areas of Afghanistan under Taliban control. Saudi Arabia has repeatedly beheaded women in public for mere rumors of infidelity. Iran routinely publicly hangs women.

Where is the outcry from the liberals and feminists who claim to be for women’s rights? Not only do they turn their heads at these horrific executions of women, they attack anyone who dares to call out Islam and Sharia law for what it is. Women living under Sharia law are suffering and we continually allow these abuses by electing Saudi Arabia to be the head of the ‘Human Rights Council’ at the UN.

There is hope, however because Donald Trump has publicly stated that ‘things will be different after January 20th’.
