Hillary Clinton Delegate From Pennsylvania Shoots Her Husband, National Media Ignores Story

Deanna Vicites

A Democrat from Pennsylvania who is a delegate and would have attended the Democrat convention next week to cast a ballot for Hillary Clinton won’t be making the trip because she shot her husband this week.

Curiously, the national media has ignored the story. Strange, huh?

Trib Live reports:

South Union DNC delegate Vicites, charged in husband’s shooting, resigns

The Fayette County woman accused of shooting her husband, county Commissioner Vincent Vicites, resigned her position Tuesday as a delegate to the Democratic National Convention, according to state party officials.

Deanna Vicites, 47, of South Union was charged Monday with attempted homicide, aggravated assault, simple assault and reckless endangerment for allegedly shooting her husband in the neck early Sunday.

She is being held in the Fayette County Prison on $250,000 bail.

Deanna Vicites was chosen in June by the Democratic State Committee as an at-large delegate to the convention, which will kick off Monday in Philadelphia. She was a pledged delegate to , according to records.

Democratic Party spokesman Preston Maddock said the party accepted Vicites’ resignation Tuesday and will replace her with Curtis Jones, an alternate at-large delegate whom the committee also had selected in June.

The Federalist notes the media’s convenient silence:

One Of Hillary Clinton’s DNC Delegates Literally Tried To Murder Someone, But Media Are Silent

A Democratic National Committee delegate pledged to Hillary Clinton tried to murder her husband with a gun on Sunday, but the national media won’t talk about it…

Killing someone isn’t the first time Hillary Clinton delegate Deanna Vicites committed a dangerous crime. In 2002, she pleaded guilty for conspiring to commit a burglary.

But the media won’t talk about the fact that a pledged delegate for Hillary Clinton literally shot someone earlier this week. Instead, they’re obsessing over a GOP delegate who hyperbolically suggested that Clinton “should be put in a firing line and shot for treason” for her role in the death of four Americans killed in after she ignored multiple requests for increased security in Libya.

Do you think this story would be ignored if she was a Republican?

Fat chance.
