A woman was arrested Tuesday after allegedly calling the Denver Planned Parenthood and telling them she was tempted to “walk into a Republican Party meeting with her dead husband’s gun and just start shooting people,” according to Fountain Police.
The suspect, identified as 54-year-old Fern Roberta Delise, was subsequently booked into the El Paso County Correctional Felony for suspicion of menacing.
She was put in contact with the Denver Planned Parenthood Office because the Colorado Springs facility was closed.
Authorities searched Delise’s home and found firearm accessories and ammunition. No firearms were recovered, according to the Fountain Police Department.
