‘Ahmed the Clock Boy’ Named CAIR’s Muslim of Year, Set to Meet Obama Monday

Ahmed Mohamed, or “Clock-med”, the fourteen-year-old Sudanese-American Muslim high school freshman who came to international attention for bringing a hoax clock device that looked like a bomb to school last month, is scheduled to meet President Barack Obama at the White House Monday night.

Obama is hosting Astronomy Night and invited Mohamed after news broke that he had been detained and handcuffed by police for bringing the hoax device to school.

** Mohamed will not be bringing the hoax clock to the White House as he has not retrieved it from Irving, Texas police, even though police say he has been free to pick it up for over a month.

Mohamed’s decision to not bring the hoax clock to the White House helps avoid putting it under Secret Service scrutiny.

The White House meeting comes two days after Mohamed was honored by the unindicted terrorist conspirator organization CAIR (Council on American Islamic Relations) as the group’s ‘American Muslim of the Year’.

Mohamed’s meeting with Obama also follows Mohamed’s meeting on October 14 with a man wanted by the International Criminal Court for genocide and crimes against humanity, Sudan’s President Omar al-Bashir.

WJLA-TV reported on Mohamed being honored by CAIR.

“The Council on American-Islamic Relations honored Ahmed Mohamed as “American Muslim of the year.”

“He told the group he wants to fight for justice.

“”I just want to stop discrimination…not just for religions…but for all races as well” He told the crowd.”

…”When we asked Ahmed what he would talk to the President about…he said he would ask for a White House pen.”

Since becoming a Muslim celebrity, Mohamed has toured several Islamic countries including Qatar, Saudi Arabia and Sudan.

Mohamed posted a photo to Twitter of himself with his father and brother in Mecca.

Mohamed also posted a Vine video to Twitter from Sudan in which a woman appears to show the ISIS index finger salute.
