Rep Louie Gohmert (R-TX) told Glenn Beck this week that CDC Director Tom Frieden is leading “Democrats’ war on women nurses.”

Rep. Louie Gohmert (R-Texas) said during a radio interview that Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) Director Dr. Tom Frieden is “the new commander of the Democrats’ war on women nurses.”
“Because they set them up and then they throw them under the bus,” the conservative lawmaker added.
Gohmert made the comments on Glenn Beck’s radio program. His remarks were first reported by BuzzFeed News.
Two of the three patients diagnosed with Ebola in the United States so far have been nurses who treated the third, Thomas Eric Duncan, in Dallas.
The back-and-forth between Beck and Gohmert reflects a distrust of the administration’s response to the virus. After he introduced the congressman, Beck asked Gohmert how he was doing.
