TALKS FAIL… Russian FM Sergey Lavrov: “No Common Vision” Between US and Russia

This is not 21st Century G8 major nation behavior.

John Kerry met with Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov today in London.
The talks failed.

After meeting with John Kerry in London, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov told reporters there was “no common vision” between the US and Russia.
The AP reported:

Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov says differences remain between Moscow and the U.S. following negotiations in London aimed at ending the crisis in Ukraine.

Lavrov met with U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry on Friday about Ukraine, whose strategic Crimea region is voting this weekend on whether to secede.

After several hours of talks, Lavrov said the talks were useful but that there is “no common” vision between Russia and the U.S.

He also told reporters that Russia has no plans to invade southeastern .

UPDATE: Kerry just said the talks were “constructive.”
