In the interest of social justice I’m posting a deleted scene from the film Hating Breitbart.
In this scene Andrew Breitbart confronts Daryle Jenkins at CPAC 2010 about an article Jenkins wrote claiming James O’Keefe organized a white supremacist forum. That article was used as the basis of a racially motivated attack against James O’Keefe and Andrew Breitbart by Salon Magazine and Max Blumenthal. http://www.salon.com/2010/02/03/james…
The article and it’s claims were throughly debunked and Salon had to issue an embarrassing correction. They were wrong and had to admit it.
In the above scene, James O’Keefe recounts how Breitbart and Larry O’Connor confronted Max Blumenthal at the 2010 CPAC convention in Washington DC.
What did not run in the release version of the film is Breitbart’s exchange a few minutes later with Daryle Lamont Jenkins. We cut that part of the scene because Jenkins is an obscure unknown blogger and we needed to shorten the timeline.
We’re posting this deleted scene now because for some bizarre reason, the totally discredited Daryle Lamont Jenkins and Max Blumenthal raised the issue again recently, reasserting the same discredited claim.
This time their race based attack was staged from the progressive safe harbor of the Souther Poverty Law Center (SPLC). This is the same group who inspired a domestic terrorist to shoot up the Family Research Council back in August of 2012.
Now they’re inspiring people to hate Breitbart and O’Keefe based on total falsehoods. Hopefully their behavior won’t lead to the same tragic end as it has in the past.
Unfortunately the left has a violent history in this country. Out of one side of their mouths they deny they’re violent and out of the other side they claim their violence is righteous and justified. They get away with this because of their media enablers and a willing population.
Well, to quote Breitbart:
