Don’t be a Grinch.
Let Obama-Claus blow more money.

The White House warned Republicans today that disagreeing with Obama-Claus will ruin Christmas in America.
The Daily Caller reported:

Any Republican refusal to accept President Barack Obama’s fiscal plan may ruin Christmas for the nation’s retailers, the White House claimed in a report released Monday morning.

“The National Retail Federation is forecasting that holiday sales will grow 4.1 percent this year … [but] if Congress does not act on the President’s plan to extend tax cuts for the middle-class, it will be risking one of the key contributors to growth and jobs in our economy at the most important time of the year for retail stores,” says the report, which was prepared by the Obama White House’s National Economic Council and the president’s Council of Economic Advisers.

“The holiday season is no time to threaten middle-class pocketbooks,” urges the report, titled “The Middle-Class Tax Cuts’ Impact On Consumer Spending & Retailers.”

  1. OK. I’ll just take a life times supply of coal for me and my family & friends in my stocking if you please.

  2. That’s ok. Any refusal of the President to accept the Republican’s proposals will cause global warming to occur, crime to increase, unemployment to grow and global war and strife to happen.

See there? Magic Thinking can be fun!

  3. The only thing this administration can do to spur Christmas sales is a mass resignation. That would spread joy around the world.

  4. Secularists only give a rat’s ass about Christmas when they can use it to beat Christians over the head.

No mention from the White House that ObamaCare will ruin Catholicism.

  5. The best strategy for Republicans is to make the Democrats own THEIR CLIFF, all by themselves. Let them pass THEIR PLAN without Republican support, let them own ALL OF the blame when their “gouge the rich” strategy predictably fails.

Speaker Boehner should say the following:

“We will not oppose you but we will not support you either. The bill will be brought to a vote but as a party, we will not vote for it. We will abstain on final passage, pass it on your own.”

If the Democrats pass this monstrosity by themselves, they own every inch of the cliff, good or (most likely) bad.

  6. Hi Missy. Happy Holidays.

  7. Any Republican refusal to accept President Barack Obama’s fiscal plan may ruin Christmas for the nation’s retailers, the White House claimed in a report released Monday morning.

Wow. One would think that even an idiot would think twice about going to the well over and over.

Of course, the American public, for the most part, is even more stupid (if that can be imagined), so that’s probably why Obie and company keep doing it…

  8. I second Missy, and besides, as the ‘Christian’ President Obama should know, Christmas is not about shopping. Two lessons in one.

  9. I am shocked and awed that they actually even used the word ‘Christmas’ in their blame-game missive.

I bet doing so made them feel — icky.

  10. No problemo! The Communist Party (formerly known as Democrat) jammed Obamacare down the throats of an unwilling American public. Not one Elitist Party (formerly known a Republican) member voted for the Commies legislation.

In the same mind, the Maoist White House Occupier is only slightly less repugnant than the Staliist White House Occupier-in-Waiting (she who permitted multiple condoms as WH Christmas Tree ornaments). All of them can proclaim whatever they want, especially since their Chinese masters would lose all that money.

  11. Go for it whiners. Obstruct obstruct obstruct.

How’d that work out for you last election?

“Forty-five percent of US Americans would blame the Republicans in Congress if we fall off the fiscal cliff. Only 34% would blame Obama”

    ___________

Ain’t happening. By law all financial bills must originate in the House of Representatives. The Republicans have a large majority in the House. If none of the Republicans vote for the bill then the bill will not pass – period.

  13. As Rahmbo said, “Never let a crisis go to waste!” So expect President Homeboy to take us over and blame Boehner. Exactly how Bubba played Gingrich!

  14. Hate to tell them, but the results of the Nov. 6th election ruined Christmas for many of us!

  15. “Hate to tell them, but the results of the Nov. 6th election ruined Christmas for many of us!”

Maybe so. About 47% I figure. But 51% of voters are still celebrating their huge win.

To me the best part was in spite of no evidence to support their claim, dumbass republicans actually thought they were going to win. It was thing of beauty to see their hopes crushed and justice prevailing.

I wonder how the anti science party feels about science and polling now?

Imagine that. The community organizer ran his campaign like a successful business. And the CEO ran his like an incompetent fool.

  16. Hurricanes, Blizzards, rising seas, drought – all the fault of Geo Bush. I get it! Let’s not confusre false narritives with facts.

No Budget no Peace, no Budget, No Peace… Repeat after me…

  17. Biggest god dammm crook this country has seen…and its just beginning POS mooslime ball
