Gun Store Owner to Obama Voters: You Are Not Welcome

An Arizona gun store owner said he will not sell weapons to customers who voted for Obama.
They’re too stupid.

Not Welcome

Todd Starnes reported, via FOX Nation:

The owner of an Arizona gun store said he will not sell weapons to customers who voted for President Obama because “you have proven that you are not responsible enough to own a firearm.”

Cope Reynolds, owner of the Southwest Shooting Authority in Pinetop, Ariz., posted the new store policy in a newspaper advertisement — as well as on a sign posted on the front door.

“If you voted for Barack Obama your business is not welcome at Southwest Shooting Authority,” the ad reads. “You have proven that you are not responsible enough to own a firearm.”

The Southwest Shooting Authority is a family-owned, family-run business that Reynolds opened in 2004. He told Fox News that he’s absolutely serious about the new policy.

“I’m a small business owner,” he said. “If you are dumb enough to vote for Obama again – after four years of this — I don’t think you are responsible enough to own a firearm. I don’t care who it makes mad.”

    I think that is reasonable.

AMEN! The only part of a gun a leftist voter should touch is the barrel.

  • SturJen

This one as been up on Facebook for a while now. One of the commentor to it stated he was a Liberal who took offense to that statement. He was going to buy his guns elsewhere.

That’s when about 20 other people pointed out to the man that he could not be Liberal. Liberals don’t own guns. Not even for hunting.

    It was epic.

  • Mope

The Dems had an app to locate their ‘fellow travelers’ for the election. It would be a damn shame if that app was used to locate people that are not competent enough to own a firearm. I think I’ll use it to locate people that I can charge double.

Good idea #8…let’s make the life of these traitors as miserable as they are making ours.

Nice trolling #9…perhaps you can be a statistic someday.

Hugh Hewitt’s discussing what went wrong with elections and someone named “Sonja” is saying Google/Yahoo/Facebook needs to be looked into (and is to some extent) re how (Google esp) helped Dems gather info and target certain voters.

Republicans are way behind in use of technology… Google is 3rd largest contributor to Dems, and probably has been used in ways both illegal and legal to help them.

To me, this should be standard policy for all gun dealers.

Liberals are scary enough, without guns in their hands!

He has no way of knowing who people voted for, although he can be pretty certain about our subprime citizens.

And from what I have heard around my city, subprimers are buying lots of guns.

  • Economan

It shouldn’t be just guns, it’s obvious that people who wanted an Obama 2.0 have serious mental problem and they should not be sold sharp objects including hand tools.

Brilliant business decision-Let’s expand our market by alienating 50% of our potential customers-So is the U.S. now going to be divided into “Red” businesses and “Blue” businesses? He certainly has the right to post this sign, but it does not say much for his intelligence. The more this kind of stuff happens, the smaller the Republican base shrinks. The “big” GOP tent is being downsized into a pup tent.

how does he know who voted for Obama when they walk into the store.

  • Susie

With all due respect Clinton and Obama can go to the UN and try to take away our guns but it will not work. The majority of America is already upset about all of the irregularities in the votes on November 6th. Did Obama really win? If they try to go for our guns they will have a civil war because that will most surely mean they are following te path of tyranny and not abiding by our constitution. This president has already tried his best to shred our constitution to the dismay and anger of most Americans who are educated.

  • Patty

I see his discontent but I just don’t get the sign. Yet, he is one of us. He didn’t vote Obama.

What most refuse to acknowledge is that it was unlikely that ANYBODY could have beaten the voter fraud planned and perpetrated by the Obama machine. They seem to prefer pointing fingers, blaming Romney and blathering on about Patraeus’ sex life- a diversion.

Massive list of voter fraud uncovered here:

SOMALIANS brought to Ohio voting stations by the busload, 95% of whom did not speak English, and told to vote for Obama- straight Dem ticket-

‘I’m not driving the gay bus!’ Passengers left stranded in row over gay rights ad
    17 Nov 2012 00:00

The unnamed man claimed the ad reading “Some people are gay. Get over it!”, offended his Christian beliefs

A bus driver refused to move his vehicle because it had a gay rights poster on its side.

He left travellers stranded for 20 minutes as he argued furiously with colleagues and passengers.

The unnamed man claimed the ad reading “Some people are gay. Get over it!”, offended his Christian beliefs.

Passenger Rebecca Neill, 25, said the bus stopped to change drivers but the replacement refused to get on.

She said: “The drivers left us while they had an argument outside.

“Quite a few passengers and other drivers joined in. It was disgusting.

“I would never say, ‘I’m not getting on your bus because you believe in God’.”

The stand-off on the X78 route in Rotherham, South Yorkshire, ended only when the next bus arrived and its driver swapped with the protester.

A spokesman for operator First apologised but would not say what action – if any – had been taken.

I agree anyone who would vote to reelect Obama is a moron. I’m guessing this sign is legal since the owner is not refusing service just letting Obama voters know they are unwelcome.Obama voters can thank the divisive campaign of Obama if we see more signs like this.

Darwin misses the point by a mile…the loss of liberal custemers is not 50%, at the most its 10%.
On the other hand its great advertizing. Advertizing after all is getting people to pay attention and controversy does that.

    OT —

Just learned the Dem defeated McSally in Arizona race to replace Gabby Giffords (close, and final count just made). He was the aide to Gabby and was also wounded himself in the shooting. It brought to mind ANOTHER suspicious death:

Judge Roll, who did NOT survive the massacre. This article has some new info for me, but doesn’t mention what I’ve read in other reports; that his personal security had been stopped just days before the shooting:

Just days before being murdered, Judge Roll had issued a preliminary ruling with intent to rule against the case of ‘United States of America v. $333,520.00 in United States Currency et al’. The subject of the case involved giving the Obama Administration power to seize citizens’ assets regardless of whether or not it could be proven that they committed any sort of crimes. And Judge Roll had planned to declare it unconstitutional.

    More from #32 link:

Judge Roll’s unwavering commitment to the Constitution was a major roadblock for those trying to advance unconstitutional agendas. Few, if any, judges are as knowledgeable and principled as Roll was on constitutional issues. And from what is known of him, he could not be bought off by political lobbyists. In fact, many from both sides of the aisle were upset at his decisions because they did not always strictly align with any one political party. As a result, he received many death threats throughout his tenure as a judge. But when considering how significant his contributions were to both Arizonans and to Americans at large, why is his murder being left out of the headlines?

Interestingly, some reports that do mention him indicate that he had not even planned to attend Rep. Giffords’ rally the day of the shootings, but decided to do so after allegedly receiving a call asking him to stop by and speak to the Congresswoman. Other reports say he just happened to be shopping at the Safeway grocery store where the event was being held, and decided to greet Rep. Giffords and thank her for her support in fighting illegal immigration. Regardless, Judge Roll was either coincidentally at the right place at the wrong time for his murder, or he was one of the primary targets.

Whether he was the sole target or a primary target along with Rep. Giffords, the strange events surrounding the murder of Judge Roll deserve more attention than they are currently getting. Most media sources decided right off the bat that Rep. Giffords was the primary target, and that the others murdered or injured were just secondary ‘bystanders’. Case closed, they say. But upon what evidence do they base these assertions?

    And to #29 lizzy’s comment —

That’s what drives me crazy…I hear Rs offering their thoughts on ways they can win future elections, but say NOTHING about doing anything to stop the fraud! If you don’t stop the cheating, it doesn’t matter how well you get your message across or reach out to convert others to your side…the creeps will win anyway. They simply hone their skills year after year.

Have Dems learned they can get away with anything: lying, cheating, committing fraud and even murder?!

  • Look-Out

    From lizzy’s link #29 —

Guy Benson of points out that in last Tuesday’s election, Obama only won by 406,348 votes in 4 states:
    ■Florida: 73,858
    ■Ohio: 103,481
    ■Virginia: 115,910
    ■Colorado: 113,099

Those four states, with a collective margin of 406,348 votes for Obama, add up to 69 electoral votes. Had Romney won 407,000 or so additional votes in the right proportion in those states, he would have 275 electoral votes.

All four states showed Romney ahead in the days leading up to the election. But on November 6, Romney lost all four states by a substantial margin, all of which have precincts that inexplicably went 99% for Obama, had voter registrations that exceeded their population, and had experienced problems with voting machines.

This election was stolen by the Democrats via vote fraud. Despite all the evidence of fraud, the Republican Party has been strangely silent about it.

But read the full article to learn WHY Rs are silent…now I want to know more about those (3?) Rs who got this whole mess started – who the heck were they, acting more like Dems it seems…

As an earlier commenter pointed out, most liberals don’t buy guns. The guy will likely not lose much business from Obama voters because they are too busy shopping for fairtrade organically-grown patchouli-scented hemp dashikis. The publicity and good will he will gain for standing up for what he believes will drive business to his door. If I lived in Arizona I would beat a path to his door to give him my business.

  • john

i dont think hes going to have many obama supporters buying guns anyway!

  • Varmint Hunter

Uh, Mr. Darwin, did it ever dawn on you that this man’s principles are more important to him, personally, than his bottom line OR maybe, just maybe, he actually believes that Obama voters lack the level of intellect and maturity required to safely handle and fire dangerous weapons which would endanger those in their immediate vicinity? Who wants unbathed, fetid libs in their business establishment anyway? Let them remain unarmed and vulnerable when the coming economic collapse occurs.

  • Teresa

I agree with #22. They would have a civil war on their hands so fast it would make their heads spin. Just my opinion. Last I checked I was still able to voice that but who knows, that may be changed soon too with the way things are going.

  • HarryCallahan

One more simple minded person saying”I’m talking my ball and going home” to the detriment of a viable business . Pure emotion over logic and common sense. And you all “Love It”. Good luck with that gun store owner.
