Obama Administration Replaces Top Generals Following Benghazi Disaster

General Carter Ham

The latest rumor making the rounds is that Barack Obama replaced General Carter Ham at AFRICOM after the general made a move to help the US security officials at the Benghazi consulate and annex. Ham was replaced by Gen. David Rodriquez on October 18.
Tiger Droppings reported:

The information I heard today was that General [Carter] Ham as head of Africom received the same e-mails the White House received requesting help/support as the attack was taking place. General Ham immediately had a rapid response unit ready and communicated to the Pentagon that he had a unit ready.

General Ham then received the order to stand down. His response was to screw it, he was going to help anyhow. Within 30 seconds to a minute after making the move to respond, his second in command apprehended General Ham and told him that he was now relieved of his command.

The story continues that now General Rodiguez would take General Ham’s place as the head of Africom.

Sure enough Obama nominated Gen. David Rodriguez to replace Gen. Carter Ham as commander of U.S. Africa Command.
The Stars and Stripes reported:

President Barack Obama will nominate Army Gen. David Rodriguez to succeed Gen. Carter Ham as commander of U.S. Africa Command and Marine Lt. Gen. John Paxton to succeed Gen. Joseph Dunford as assistant commandant of the Marine Corps, Defense Secretary Leon Panetta announced Thursday.

Both appointments must be confirmed by the Senate.

Rodriguez is the commander of U.S. Army Forces Command and has served in a “variety of key leadership roles on the battlefield,” Panetta said.

He’s “a proven leader” who oversaw coalition and Afghan forces during the surge in Afghanistan, and “was the key architect of the successful campaign plan that we are now implementing,” Panetta said.

In announcing Ham’s successor, Panetta also praised the work Ham has done with Africa Command.

“Gen. Ham has really brought AFRICOM into a very pivotal role in that challenging region,” Panetta said. “I and the nation are deeply grateful for his outstanding service.”

Hat Tip Tom

The Obama Administration also relieved the admiral in command of an aircraft carrier strike group in the Middle East, Rear Adm. Charles M. Gaouette. It is highly unusual for the Navy to replace a carrier strike group commander during its deployment.
The Stars and Stripes reported:

The Navy said Saturday it is replacing the admiral in command of an aircraft carrier strike group in the Middle East, pending the outcome of an internal investigation into undisclosed allegations of inappropriate judgment.

Rear Adm. Charles M. Gaouette is being sent back to the USS John C. Stennis’ home port at Bremerton, Wash., in what the Navy called a temporary reassignment. The Navy said he is not formally relieved of his command of the Stennis strike group but will be replaced by Rear Adm. Troy M. Shoemaker, who will assume command until the investigation is completed.

It is highly unusual for the Navy to replace a carrier strike group commander during its deployment.

Ace of Spades says the move to replace Rear Adm. Charles Baouette is likely not related to Benghazi.

This might be the reason for what I just watched on FOX. Jamie had General McInerney on and he was ready to burn them all.

He gave Panetta a break a few days ago because he said “Panetta gave the order to get Osama” but he was mad about it then.

Today he was ready to burn even Panetta. He said somebody should have went toward the fire. He said even the Amb might have been saved. Blasted them!

OMG!!! This is just incredible. Not only is Obama playing mom, but now he is replacing men who did not stand down. ‘Oh, I know nothing, but I’m replacing those who didn’t follow orders.’ I cannot believe this. Things are heating up; I hope everything self-combusts and goes right out of control. The U.S. military swore an oath to protect the U.S. from enemies outside and within, and it is time they honour their oath. We should pray for them all.

  • Winston Wolfe

Aside from the atrocity that is Benghazi, this is stupid, stupid politics.

You don’t pour gasoline on an already burning fire by replacing Admirals and Generals two weeks out from an election.

But then again, nobody with a half a brain ever said this jug-eared punk was smart.

Azzhat Panetta was caught lying that there was not enough intelligence to respond with help for the Americans in Bengazi. They were watching the massacre in real time. The information in this article is proof of yet another lie told by him. Here is what he said just a few days ago about Gen. Ham.

“There’s a basic principle here that you don’t deploy forces into harm’s way without knowing what’s going on” on the ground, Panetta said.

It was the decision of Army Gen. Carter Ham, head of the U.S. Africa Command, that “we could not put forces at risk in that situation,” Panetta said of the attack that killed U.S. Ambassador Christopher Stevens and three other Americans.”

Even after the O’s occupation of the WH is up come Jan., , he and Panetta, and everyone else responsible for the Bengazi masacre, must be brought to justice for “treason.”

    Impeach and Imprision.

If we want to impeach then we first must have both a House of Representatives with enough members willing to write a Bill of Impeachment and a Senate with a 2/3 majority willing to render a verdict of guilty. That will NOT happen until at least January 20 when the new Senate is seated and only then if we take back the Senate and don’t lose the House.

There are a couple of things you can do to keep a record of things likely to disappear. One is to screen cap them. There are plugins for most browsers and the Mac preview program has a screen cap utility built in

You can also choose to print the page and then instead of printing it to paper “print” it to a pdf – accessed from a drop down menu on the printer popup. That will actually save the page in a way independent of whether or not it still exists on the internet.

Failing at force protection: The misguided
Pentagon report on the Ft. Hood massacre

[These critical lines are completely missing from the Pentagon’s 84-page report reviewing the massacre of 13 U.S. soldiers and contractors at Fort Hood. Yet this is only one of many omissions that the Pentagon should pursue from this incident.

Maj. Nidal Malik Hasan opened fire on Nov. 5 because his adherence to extreme Islamism overrode his allegiance to his country and his sworn oath to protect it against all enemies. While issues of post-traumatic stress will surely be pursued by his defense team, Hasan’s defense is not the job of the Pentagon. The Pentagon has a duty to honestly assess the root of the attack and to ensure that the military is adequately protecting our forces from the threat from within and without.

The protection of our forces requires a better understanding of the
enemy we face. An honest assessment of the Fort Hood massacre
would not limit the scope of the review. It would also not allow the
scapegoating of soldiers instead of fighting the root theo-political
problems. Hasan’s victims deserve a full revision of how the United
States military handles Islamist radicalization within its ranks. Without
it we will see many more Nidal Hasans and in the end a weaker force
    and a weaker nation.]

I bet Valerie Jarrett had her nose in Obama’s decision………she probably gave him the order.

Have you read the reports that Valerie Jarrett, who is just another presidential advisor entitled to absolutely no special treatment, has a Secret Service detail 24/7/365 that is every bit as big as Obama’s own?

I’ve been wondering for quite some time where Obama found the time to do any of the business that we pay him to do. He’s on the go every waking minute but it always seems to be eating or campaigning or talking to the “ladies” of The View rather than meeting with members of Congress, or even attending his daily National Security Brief. Heck, he doesn’t even bother to show up in the office before 10 or 11 in the morning most days.

Meanwhile, somebody is doing the work of the president and making the decisions entrusted to him that he clearly has no time at all for.

  • In all probability the Hussein regime itself was behind the Benghazi massacre of Americans.

‘Dujan has accused the Obama administration of deliberately attempting to stage a hostage-taking in Benghazi as part of a manufactured “October Surprise” that Obama intended to make himself look great on the foreign stage in the lead up to the election.
The plan was set in motion at the Democrats’ convention in Charlotte in early September when repeated mentions of Obama as a “foreign policy president” were made. This was timed to lead up to September 11th…when deliberately lowered security at the Benghazi consulate (and OTHER consulates and embassies in the Mideast) was supposed to encourage Muslims to take Americans hostage like they did in 1979. Only, Obama’s plan was to negotiate their quick released by trading the “Blind Sheik” from the 1993 World Trade Center bombings for any Americans taken hostage on 9/11/2012.

The plan was to make Obama look like “a badass” and a to have him revel in this through October and into the November election. In fact, the hostages were probably planned for release not long before the Foreign Policy Debate (the last of the three presidential debates this year) in Boca Raton, Florida. ‘

Was the Benghazi attack really an Obama Regime-directed kidnapping of the Ambassador in order to facilitate his exchange for the Blind Shiekh?

The purge of the generals is for not preventing the two Navy SEALs from attempting to help and thus embarrassing Mein Fuhrer wanna be bin Obama, even though the Hussein regime denied requests for help from the ambassador, the CIA and the U.S. military. Kim Jung Un of the Nork regime does the same thing. In a second chance with more flexibility Hussein will send dissenters to gulags and slave labor camps.

couple of missed all too damn TRUE stories:

    October 18, 2012

Army Bows to Islamists, Sacks Lt. Colonel

[Lieutenant Colonel Matthew Dooley’s career has been effectively
destroyed by General Martin Dempsey, chairman of the Joint Chiefs
of Staff, various complicit members of the Pentagon and the military
and, most of all, political correctness on the part of the U.S. government.

Col. Dooley, who was awarded the Bronze Star, the fourth-highest
combat decoration, is a West Point graduate and highly rated armor
officer who served in Iraq, Germany, Bosnia and Kuwait. He was, until
recently, the instructor of a course to fellow officers on the dangers
of radical Islam at the Joint Forces Staff College (part of the National
    Defense University).

His downfall came at the hands of 57 Islamic groups who began
complaining a year ago that the U.S. military and intelligence counter
-terrorism training instructors and materials were anti-Islam.

Included the group of complainers was both CAIR (Council on American
Islamic Relations) and ISNA (Islamic Society of North America). Both CAIR
and ISNA were named as unindicted co-conspirators in the Holy Land
Terror Funding Trial, largest ever terror-funding trial in U.S. history. Both
are listed by the Muslim Brotherhood — whose publicized doctrine is to
destroy American from within — as two of it “working organizations.”]

    September 22, 2012

    Muslim Brotherhood ‘infiltrated’ U.S. gov’t

[The Muslim Brotherhood is a radical Islamist organization that has
successfully penetrated both political parties and the delicate areas
    of defense and national security.

Retired U.S. Army Lt. Gen. William “Jerry” Boykin, executive vice
president of the Family Research Council, told WND’s Greg Corombos
that people with connections to the Muslim Brotherhood are in vital
positions within every significant area of the U.S. government. He
specifically cited high security clearances for such people in the
Pentagon and the Department of Homeland Security.

He said neither Republicans nor Democrats want to protest
too loudly over concerns of being branded intolerant.

Boykin said Republicans proved their weakness on the issue by roundly
condemning Rep. Michele Bachmann, R-Minn., for sounding the alarm on
this issue and specifically wondering about the Brotherhood ties of
Huma Abedin, a top assistant to Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.

He also slammed the sequestration plan that has the military on course
for an additional $500 billion in cuts over the next decade, saying that
will weaken every branch of the service and that a naive rationale is
    behind it all.]

Either way, it does not change my sentiments about President Obama’s terrible handling of Benghazi.

The best Obama exposure site on the net:

The United States Library of Congress has selectedTheObamaFile.com for inclusion in its historic collectionof Internet materials

Just a few of the pages:
    Obama’s books:

In a sane world, having the following comments out in print via Obama’s racist books would have knocked him out of the running for president of the United States.(they would have crucified a white candidate for far less)

From ‘Dreams from my Father’,The emotion between the races could never be pure, even love was tarnished by the desire to find in the other some element that was missing in ourselves. Whether we sought out our demons or salvation, THE OTHER RACE (WHITE) WOULD ALWAYS REMAIN JUST THAT: MENACING, ALIEN, AND APART.” Barack Hussein Obama

From Dreams from My Father:“THAT HATE HADN’T GONE” he wrote, BLAMING “WHITE PEOPLE — some CRUEL, some IGNORANT, sometimes a single face, sometimes just a faceless image of a system claiming power over our lives.” Barack Hussein Obama

From ‘Dreams from My Father’,“There were enough of us on campus to constitute a tribe, and when it came to hanging out many of us chose to function like a tribe, staying close together, traveling in packs,” he wrote.“It remained necessary to prove which side you were on,to show your LOYALTY TO THE BLACK MASSES, TO STRIKE OUT and name names” Barack Hussein Obama

“Dreams From My Father,” page 101 (paperback, ISBN 978-1-4000-8277-3)
Dreams From My Father: To avoid being mistaken for a sellout, I chose my friends carefully. The more politically active black students. The foreign students. The Chicanos. The Marxist professors and structural feminists“Dreams From My Father,” pages 99-100

Then there is his love of Islam:

Quote from Barack Obama’s book, Dreams Of My Father:

From ‘Audacity of Hope:“LOLO (Obama’s step father) FOLLOWED ISLAM….”I LOOKED TO LOLO FOR GUIDANCE”.

From The Audacity Of Hope,“WE ARE NO LONGER JUST A CHRISTIAN NATION, we are also a Jewish nation, a MUSLIM NATION, a Buddhist nation, a Hindu nation, and a nation of nonbelievers.”
    Don’t believe it? Think these comments taken ‘out of context’? Here it all here in his own works;

We Know Now Who Gave the Order
    Not to Protect the Consulate!!

[According to this article on September 24th, 2012
10:21 AM ET posted by CNN:
A general’s warning about militants in Libya
    By Barbara Starr

Just three months ago, the four-star chief of the U.S. Africa Command warned of a growing threat from al Qaeda and other militant groups in Libya

“There is a real concern in Libya. As Libya is coming out of the revolution and forming its new government, there very clearly are those who wish to undermine the formation of that government,” said Gen. Carter Ham in a speech to senior military and civilian officials from Africa, Europe and the U.S.

“We see some worrying indicators that al Qaeda and others are seeking to establish a presence in Libya,” Ham warned. Ham often worked closely with the late Chris Stevens, the U.S. ambassador to Libya, killed in the attack on the U.S. consulate in Benghazi.

Ham has been trying to establish the initial stages of a military relationship with Libya, but the effort has been slowed by the presence and influence of armed militias, such as those suspected of being involved in the attack. Ham noted back in June the problem of bringing even more mainstream groups under the control of the central government.

More: Intel chairman doubts Libya attack linked to video

“Now how do you bring those disparate organizations under some degree of central government control? How do you use those organizations to the benefit of the people? How do you transform some of them into border police, into national police, into maritime police and other areas of government where they can continue to be valuable contributors to overall Libyan security?”

As commander of U.S. military operations across Africa, Ham would be the senior U.S. officer in charge, if the president were to order a military strike against potential targets believed to be responsible for the attack. He is considered to be extremely knowledgeable about al Qaeda movements in Africa, as was Stevens.

Ham has particularly made the case that al Qaeda in the Lands of the Islamic Maghreb poses an increasing concern and that the group is operating unconstrained in a large portion of Mali and coordinating with other extremist elements across North Africa.

According to reports: On September 10, General Ham was in Nevada.

  • The scenario is probably even bigger.
Here’s something to ponder, and I expect to take some flack for it.

Bin Laden’s been dead for a long time. Madeline Albright was right when she said Bush had his body on ice somewhere. We never did get an independent forensic report. We never really saw a body–remember how we saw the bodies of Saddam and Khaddafi? The SEAL team in the helicopter that went down after the Bin Laden raid, either knew it was fake, or had to be eliminated so they could never talk about it.

So what did Amb Stevens know?

i believe Osama died in Dec 05 of a respiratory ailment and was
buried somewhere near Kandahar, as was told to the Ayatollah
by Zawahiri upon his 06 visit to Iran..

    that said..

Bush could not declare him dead for several reasons, #1 being
he had no proof (besides, if he was on ice they’d have his DNA).

If the General wanted to help our Ambassador after he was told to ignore the attack taking place then fire The General and whoever else countermanded his orders. But by doing so Obama has made it clear that it was HIS ORDER that the military stand down and not aid the Ambassador or his team. Oh what a tangled web we weave when first we practice to deceive. Folks, if a general disobeys his Commander in Chief, then there’s only one outcome. General Ham must have known he was throwing his career away if he did not enforce the stand down. That shows you the character of the man, he would have rather saved American lives than go to sleep at night knowing he let them die to save the ass of his CinC. But as soon as he departed from Obama’s orders, he was toast. He knew that. What an honourable man.

Supposing this plays out and this report is correct, you have potential witnesses to testify as to what they were ordered. The administration is attaching blame to them in order to pre-emptively discredit what they will say in the future. When the truth comes out they will simply assert that these fellows have an axe to grind.

This is all political theater now: simply provide the marxist media with a story line, no matter how false, so the sheeple can enjoy their cranial-rectal inversion in peace (just don’t let their cell service or cable tv go out, as that is possibly the only things that would piss them off).

If you think me incorrect, simply tune into any of the msm sites and you will see raw, unfettered censorship aimed at maximizing barry’s re-election hopes.

This is how reprobates play: no honor, no courage, no remorse (as their conscience has been burried long ago).

I do hope this story is correct, so that I can know there were men of honor who would not ignore this disgraceful obomination. It would send me to tears to think our present military has become nothing more than yes men (which I cannot believe).

By all accounts, our SEALS surpassed any expectations by prioritizing innocent life and their intrinsic desire to defend such, which they measured and counted as more worthy than their own safety or following unimmaginably ill-conceived orders. They layed down their lives upon the alter of freedom and by doing so lived up to the highest of standards with respect to the conduct of selfless warriors, of whom they surely stand tall among. May their heroism be remembered.

The CIA issued a statement that denied the WH lies that CIA told ANYONE to stand down. Petraeus had to approve that.

Petraeus is an honorable military man, he needs to do what Elliott Richardson and Bill Ruckelshaus did at a time another POTUS was subverting the constitution: RESIGN and tell the American public what he knows.

Some group needs to run a full page ad in the NYT (if they would accept it) or some major paper calling on Petraeus to do that.

    American Wars

    Harry S. Truman

    Breaking Free From The Constitution

[Mr. Obama’s comments take a turn from discussing the historical
record. Unprovoked he laments that the Supreme Court “could not
break free from the essential constraints placed by the Founding
Fathers in the Constitution.” He further describes the Constitution
as “a charter of negative liberties.” This is at odds with the preamble
to the Constitution and the Bill of Rights.]

    Constitution is “Flawed”

“The fact that we are here today to debate raising America’s debt limit is a sign of leadership failure. It is a sign that the US Government cannot pay its own bills. It is a sign that we now depend on ongoing financial assistance from foreign countries to finance our Government’s reckless fiscal policies. Increasing America’s debt weakens us domestically and internationally. Leadership means that, “the buck stops here.’ Instead, Washington is shifting the burden of bad choices today onto the backs of our children and grandchildren. America has a debt problem and a failure of leadership. Americans deserve better.”

    ~ Senator Barack H. Obama, March 2006

“General Ham, General Dempsey and I felt very strongly that we could not put forces at risk in that situation,” Panetta said.”

The above is from an Oct. 25 CBS news article….how does one reconcile this post with that article?

just another lie on top of another lie, etc..

We Know Now Who Gave the Order Not to Protect the Consulate!!

[Just three months ago, the four-star chief of the U.S.

Just maybe, Obama took out Osama so that the current US President could have a clearer (“optimal”) path for providing leadership and support to the various Islamic Jihadist throughout the Middle East.

Folk…in 2008, Americans elected a Leftist/Marxist-Islamic Alliance into the White House. As fast and furious as things are moving, November 6th may be irrelevant.

You people are pathetic, letting your fox propaganda and your own narrow minded bircher mentality run rampant on your small minds.
This president will get re-elected because the people see that he is working for us, not a corporate state that wants to suck the life out of us and turn us into a 2 class country.
If you had any open mind at all you would see Obama care for what it is. an attempt tpo save the lower and middle classes.
The republicans know how dumb Americans are that’s why they can use massive amounts of money to get you idiots to vote directly against your own interests.
Thank Jesus we have a constitution and free elections.

I saw many posts indicating that General HAM was at his command post and was in the process of leading a military response against the attack on our Embassy in Benghazi, on 11 Sep 2012. I also saw several posts indicating that HAM was in CONUS during that timeframe. Does ANYBODY have the straight poop on that situation?

  • Jack Frost

  • Reality Bites

ONE QUESTION needs to be answered… only one…. “Who issued the order, three times, to Stand Down?”

It doesn’t take a lengthy investigation, culminating AFTER the election, to answer that question. The person who issued the order comes forward and takes responsibility for it. That simple. Done deal.

Until that happens, Americans will draw their own conclusions and point the finger of blame at Obama. IF, as he claims, he is not responsible for the “Stand Down” order, he needs to name the person who issued it – ASAP. If he won’t do that, BEFORE the election, we know he’s guilty.

  • davod

I am a bit late to the party. First. If you disobey a direct order you pay the consequences. Ham knew what he was doing. Second. Obama loves Turkey. maybe he is trying to emulate the Turkish prime minister who probably now has a Islamic military as opposed to a secular military.

  • davod

“When Obama called the SEALS to get Osama, they got the job done. When the SEALS called Obama for help…he watched and denied their requests.”

You may be onto something with your second comment.

This could be as simple as Obama didn’t want his heroic feat, that of ordering the SEALS to get Osama, upstaged by a more recent heroic act by actual military people.

General Ham was relieved for failing to act. It was in his purview as on scene commander to do what he thought was correct. His shuffling the decision up the “Chain of command” was a failure of leadership and an example of cowardice. He deserved to be relieved! He was afraid for his career and failed to act when the time came. Do you really want someone like that in charge of armies? Regardless of procedures in an emergency leadership at the lowest levels is authorized to do what is right. Failing in that duty especially as a General means you are unfit to lead.

    From foreign policy magazine:
The intensity of coverage over the Benghazi attack has created rumors that Gen. Carter Ham was fired. In recent days, bloggers have speculated that Defense Secretary Leon Panetta’s announcement of a replacement for Ham, commander of AFRICOM, was a quiet way of removing the general after, they allege, that he refused orders to “stand down” on the night of the attack in Benghazi. Those promoting this storyline, like tigerdroppings.com, seem to be seized by a story line that sounds like it’s straight out of the movies. Tigerdroppings.com: “General Ham then received the order to stand down. His response was to screw it, he was going to help anyhow. Within 30 seconds to a minute after making the move to respond, his second in command apprehended General Ham and told him that he was now relieved of his command.”

The truth is that Ham was never relieved of command, and continues to serve in the job to this day, officials tell Situation Report. Yet other blogs have fanned the rumors that Ham was let go over the attack, including James Robbins on the Washington Times. Robbins, who cites the tigerdroppings blog, has a bit more incredulous take: “This version of events contradicts Mr. Panetta’s October 25 statement that General Ham advised against intervention. But so far there is nothing solid to back it up. Maybe Ham attempted to send a reaction force against orders, or maybe he simply said the wrong thing to the wrong people.” http://bitly.com/U6nyNt

Robbins’ posts include a statement from Pentagon Press Secretary George Little who discounts the notion altogether: “The insinuations in your story are flat wrong. General Ham is an outstanding leader of AFRICOM. Future leadership changes at this important command have absolutely nothing to do with the attack on American personnel in Benghazi. The leadership changes have been long planned.”

There was enough speculation about Ham that Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Gen. Marty Dempsey, traveling in Israel, also issued a statement: “The speculation that General Carter Ham is departing Africa Command due to events in Benghazi, Libya on 11 September 2012 is absolutely false,” the statement attributed to Dempsey said. “General Ham’s departure is part of a routine succession planning that has been going on since July. He continues to serve in AFRICOM with my complete confidence.”

Ham, well respected and admired among those in the E-ring for his thoughtful, evenhanded approach, was tapped for AFRICOM in part because of the special skills necessary for that job. The AFRICOM mission had always been largely misunderstood by many leaders in Africa because it was seen as leading to military deployments that Africa didn’t necessarily want. But Ham was seen as someone who could help bridge the gap between the U.S. military and Africa. Many believe that effort is now on a better track than when AFRICOM was first created. Although Ham only just began the AFRICOM job in March 2011, he was expected to leave the command after a year or two – long before the attack in Libya.

The Stennis was 16 air minutes away from the attack and could have had two heilos with Marines on the deck within 30 minutes after the call for help.
This POUS has not a clue on how to handle a problem like this. What he needs is, to be pinned down in his limo coming to the WH and call for help—-then be told that they are considering action to be taken.

This was not an error in judgment by someone in Obama’s admin. Nor was it a decision of TWO Commanders to refuse to accept a lawful, logical order from the POTUS. No, this was a DELIBERATE decision by Obama and team to allow the murder of Americans. I say this as I have a personal contact who knows that General Ham and Admiral Gaouette were relieved of command after they refused to stand down as they were ordered.

As a result, Americans were murdered. This makes Obama and his team ACCOMPLICES TO MURDER as they intentionally made that decision to prevent teams from going in to save Americans.

  • A Loyal American

This was no surprise attack and not a matter of incompetence. It was an illegal, secret arms deal between Obama and Ansar al Sharia, an Islamic militant group with close ties to Al Qaeda.

Why do I think so? Because no one could be this incompetent. There are far too many “lapses” capped off by a “stand down” order from high above.

This has all the earmarks of an illegal arms deal between Obama and Ansar al Sharia.

    Look at the facts…

    1) It’s 9/11 and there’s no beefed up security to protect a US diplomatic post against a revenge attack. This is in spite of several CIA reports in the weeks prior concerned about increased militant activity in the area near the consulate. Islamist radicals are very big on symbolism and common sense would demand a large and visible US military presence on the perimeter as well as inside the compound on the anniversary of 9/11 in particular.

    2) There was a huge cache of arms captured from Ghaddafi forces stored at the lightly-staffed compound.

    3) There just happened to be a camera-equipped drone in the area. Not an attack drone equipped with a Hellfire missle, but a camera……streaming live video to the WH situation room.

    4) The CIA operatives at the Annex a mile away reported suspicious activity outside their building in the hours before the attack, including one of the local contracted security “guards” taking pictures of the annex as well as several people watching the annex’s exits.

    5) The well-armed invading force in numbering in the hundreds attacked suddenly and swiftly, quickly swarming the facility and overwhelming what little security was in place.

    6) Hearing shots fired, the CIA operatives at the annex contacted their commanders that there was gunfire heard in the direction of the consulate and were requesting permission to assist. They were told to stand down.

    7) Refusing to sit by while fellow Americans are being attacked, former Navy SEALS Tyrone Woods and Sean Smith disobeyed the stand down order and ran over to the consulate to aid the staff and as a result, helped many consulate staff members to escape.

    8) A contingent of CIA operatives assigned to the Benghazi annex had arrived at Tripoli airport some time during the raid. They were there for routine deployment and were unaware of any attack. For some odd reason, they were held at the airport for three hours by Libyan officials.

    9) The Africon base responds to Tyrone Woods’ calls for reinforcements and readies a team to respond. They are ordered to stand down.

    10) The “video” story was reported almost immediately and was used continuously for 2 weeks after the attack, despite the fact it was known it was a planned, organized assault with heavy weapons.

    The theory

Because Obama couldn’t legally provide arms to factions of Al Qaeda or safely supply arms to insurgent factions in Syria without the possibility of discovery, he devises another plan. He arranges a deal with Ansar al Sharia to facilitate an “attack” on the compound where all these Libyan arms were stored.

Obama tells the insurgents that if they gather a large force and attack all at once, the small security force can be easily overwhelmed and neutralized. If they attack on 9/11, it would make the appearance of an anniversary attack a plausible motive.

Obama ensures Ansar al Sharia there will be no extra security that night and guarantees that no one from the CIA annex will respond. Obama orders Ansar al Sharia to kill Ambassador Stevens, the only other person aware of the deal, to eliminate any ties between Obama and the terrorist faction.

The result would be initial reports of a spontaneous attack by a crowd angry about a video. The story would later be changed to an organized 9/11 Anniversary attack by Islamic radicals who stormed the facility, set it on fire, and took all the weapons stored there.

Obama has his airtight story and with Ambassador Stevens killed, there are no people who can tie him to the attack.

Obama’s big mistake? He has no sense of honor and duty, so he didn’t take into consideration the possibility of two former SEALS ignoring the asinine order to stand down. These two heroes refused to leave their comrades behind and rushed to the annex against orders and helped to rescue consulate staff.

They then fall back to the annex and proceed to launch a counter-attack from the machine gun emplacement atop the CIA annex. It is from this position where the calls for backup came. Tyrone Woods repeatedly made calls for reinforcements and area bases were prepared and ready to respond.

General Ham, commander of Africom receives the same SOS emails from the CIA annex. He immediately assembles a rapid response unit and informs the Pentagon they are good to go. General Ham then receives the order to stand down. General Ham disregards the order and prepares to move out.

Within one minute of his decision to respond, General Ham’s second in command apprehends the General and informs he has has been relieved of his command.

Obama concocted the “video” story as a cover to create confusion and allow Ansar al Sharia operatives ample time to load the weapons and get them out of the country unnoticed and without being pursued.

What brings this whole house of cards down for Obama is ordering reinforcements to stand down. He wasn’t planning on doing that, because there wasn’t going to be anyone calling for reinforcements.

They could have made it look like a 9/11 attack by some radicals and Obama could have just played it off as a surprise attack. However, since Woods and Smith took their oaths to heart and refused to leave anyone behind, an entire slew of communications Obama had no plan for continued to pour in. These communications were sent to different locations and were impossible to neutralize,

Part two will take place when Congress is back in session and an investigation ordered.

  • I can only state that men of honor are being disgraced for being men of honor by the direction of the current President that I did not vote for because he is gay. No real man would let soldiers die a coward’s death by standing down in the face of his enemies. No real American would let the enemies of America take it up the butt. Only a gay would allow America to be porked in such a manner. Amen!

Awfully strange that General Patraeus tendered his resignation. Funny on the timing of this in regards to the election. It’s never to late to impeach, you can’t tell me the POTUS wasn’t briefed on this.

  • agimon

And now CIA Director quits? The reason posted is an affair, not a failed arms buy back program in lybia gone bad under his watch. How far is this going to go? Seek the Truth and dont let go, like a pit bull once he gets a hold of you.

why is noone asking questions about this??????? does anyone out there care???

  • James

If you would bother to research this, you would find out that General Ham was NOT fired or disciplined in any way and continued to serve in his command until his retirement in March. Adm Gaouette was given a letter of reprimand – not for anything to do with Libya, but over a complaint filed by a subordinate, the commander of USS Stennis, over allegations of inappropriate behavior in command. Gaouette admitted he was wrong. This had nothing to do with Benghazi. CSG Stennis was in mid Pacific during Benghazi and would have had no ability to respond.
Essentially, once again, the conspiracy nuts flame out.

  • lildebrarae

This is no ‘rumor’. General Ham was ‘arrested’, and relieved of duty for trying to activate the Special forces in order to save the lives of Benghazi. Of course Obama (the KILLER_in_CHIEF) would replace the Generals who (instead of choosing POLITICS over INNOCENT LIVES) tried to save the very people who OBAMA wanted to die!

  • lildebrarae

The conservatives do, and have been keeping Beghazi alive. And this is the only reason why it’s on the ‘lame’ stream news now..

  • lildebrarae

James, if YOU did YOUR RESEARCH you would know that it was ‘verified’ that General Hamm was in fact ‘arrested’ and ‘relieved of duty’ because he tried to activate the special forces in order to save the lives in Benghazi.

If you don’t believe me… I do believe that you know how to ‘google’ and ‘input’ “Rogue US General arrested for trying to activate special forces during Benghazi”.

Of course the Liberal MainStream Media didn’t cover this, they were, and are still in “‘It’s not facism when ‘we’ do it” mode.

So much for your input, ‘dearie’.

  • CommonCents

I hope the Generals are called to testify to private or public congressional panels. Or at least leak the smoking gun communications from White House.

  • James

Yes, Debra, I did my research into this. Even though many on the internet claimed he was arrested and relieved of duty, yet, a few days after he suppsoedly was, he was attending official duties in his role. Apparently no one under his command heard the rod that he was arrested! If he had been arrested and relieved of command, there would be a record somewhere, yet no one seems to point to any official record of this. It is easy to create a false story on the internet; it is harder to support it.

  • James

Well, if Republican congressmen subpoenaed them to testify, they would have to appear. Yet, no one was subpoenaed. Could it be there is no story there?

  • James

Can you validate the rumors that Adm. Gaouette was fired over supposedly trying to activate forces – WHEN HE WAS IN THE MIDDLE OF THE PACIFIC OCEAN??? He would have been out of the information loop there, he could not have gotten any resources there for many hours (8,000 miles away!), and official sources mentioned nothing about that. Hmmm. I tend to go with the reality, not the conspiracy theories.

  • chris

James, just to let you know just because he was in the middle of the pacific ocean doesn’t mean you are out of the information loop. The second the attack went down, I would bet everything I have that spec ops teams from all over the world grabbed their kits and where standing by. That information loop you talk of would have reached every CO in the military in seconds. But, just a few decided to take action to save lives and do what our great military is made for. And look what happened to them. I have seen CO’s get relieved of duty for far less. But, doing what is right just shows that Obama should not have any say on military matters. First one must wear the cloth of defender before he can understand.

  • James

Contrary to what you assert, all commands are not made privy to such information. The military “compartmentalizes” information: that is, limits sensitive information to only those who have a need to know. When Gaouette’s fleet was transitting the Pacific, they were under the Pacific Command. They unllikely would have been advised of the situation. There is no evidence that they were advised. Why would they be advised? There is nothing they could do, no support that could be rendered.

You are fantasizing how the military operates: every military commander was not informed of the attack within seconds, but, likely, found out about the attack later, likely via the media.

Regardless of whether or not advised, Gaouette’s forces simply could not have responded in time. To claim otherwise is utterly ridiculous.

More to the point, you assert that commanders were relieved of duty for attempting to intervene, yet there is no evidence of such. The two officers purportedly relieved of command for attempting to intervene – Ham and Gaouette – were not. Ham continued serving in his post until he retired in March. Gaouette received a letter of reprimand for leadership issues completely unrelated to any efforts to Benghazi (a conflict between the commander of USS Stennis and Gaouette over leadership issues). He accepted responsibility and continues to serve. If either were arrested for defying orders, they would not have been allowed to command ever again and that information loop would have been rife with information about their dismissal. Nowhere, other than in the conspiracy nut circles, has there been any connection betweeen Ham, Gaouette and Benghazi.

  • But, if it’s a conspiracy don’t you think they are smart enough to manufacture a cover up?

  • Discusted

This is to be expected from the Lying Muslim B’stard SOB … take out the Military Leadership that will Defend Americans !

  • joel

You think that conveying that could set off a damn near civil war in the USA would be puckishly recorded somewhere? Kind of like cops have actually 24 hours to formally charge someone with a crime before their slammer time is actually public information? You’re a special kind of stupid, aren’t you?

  • emmayus

If you really want to keep up with Benghazi, there is much more than the Media is sharing. The hearings are here https://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=My+Benghazi+hearings

2 years on, the clinton coverup is finally starting to be revealed and we can clearly see the efforts of 0bamas minions spin control efforts right here. Of course, they knew all along the blood was on their hands!
