Shocker! Chicago Tribune Endorses Republican Over Commie Jan Schakowsky

Schakowsky is one of 70 Congressional Democrats currently identified as a member of the Socialist caucus.
In a shock development – The Chicago Tribune endorsed Republican Tim Wolfe over commie Jan Schakowsky.

In a stunning decision, the Chicago Tribune has endorsed challenger Tim Wolfe against long Democratic Congresswoman Jan Schakowsky. Schakowsky has for many years remained an untouchable candidate, and even maintained the Tribune’s support against Joel Pollak an outstanding challenger prior to his joining Breitbart News in the 2010 race for Illinois 9th congressional seat.
The district has since been redrawn more favorably to the Republicans, an effort to bolster more solid blue districts elsewhere in the state by the Democratically controlled legislature. With the Tribune’s endorsement of Wolfe, this years race is a new ballgame, and will certainly provide more than a glimmer of hope for conservatives on the north side of Chicago and north shore suburbs to finally replace the radical Schakowksy.

We have in the past gone hot and cold on Democratic Rep. Jan Schakowsky of the 9th District. She’s always up for a good debate and it’s a pleasure to spar with her. But she’s also one of the most partisan, liberal members of the House.
When the Democrats finished drawing the new congressional maps, Republican Tim Wolfeawoke to find himself living in the 9th. The district is considered safely blue. Wolfe lives in Arlington Heights, a pocket of red voters who were tossed into the 9th by mapmakers to protect the Democratic tilt of other districts. Wolfe decided he had to run against Schakowsky. “You know what Jan is going to offer,” he says. “More government, more taxes, more debt, more government intrusion. … She stands for the exact opposite of what I stand for in most cases.”
In December 2010 Schakowsky told a Russian audience that the US is a “banana republic” without wealth redistribution.

I used to live in Chicago up until a few years ago, at that time the Chicago Tribune was a pretty fair paper gave both sides of the spectrum. The Chicago Sun Times was a biased Liberal rag and I believe it still is……

I guess the FAAAAAAARRRRRRR Left SeaTimes can’t stomach the truly vile attacks the state Dem party and Dem candidate Jay Inslee are throwing at McKenna even though Inslee is using the smear playbook Barry and Biden are using on the national campaign.

Too good to check: Could Obama lose … Illinois?
If this poll is accurate, it would obviously be embarrassing to Obama to have to spend a lot of money and attention on his own home state. Republicans nearly won the gubernatorial election after the conviction of Rod Blagojevich, and Mark Kirk won the open Senate seat in 2010, but the state GOP still needs to do a lot of work to make themselves competitive in the Land of Lincoln. If Obama really ended up losing Illinois, it would almost certainly be because of a national landslide that would make Illinois a historical footnote.
On the other hand, Democratic pollster PPP warns that Romney has taken a slight lead in Wisconsin — and that might indicate an overall heartland problem for Obama:(…………….)
