That’s okay; she’ll just make the Left look bad again. Go Candy!

  • iamsaved

I have very little hope this moderator will be any less biased than the other liberal propagandists who believe they are “middle of the road” politically.

Lincoln said “you can fool all the people some of the time, and some of the people all the time, but you cannot fool all the people all the time.” Let’s hope there’s enough people who aren’t fooled and can bankrupt these media propaganists by refusing the patronize them. Once the bucks stop flowing and they become more and more irrelevant, they’ll start figuring it out and go back to ethical journalism, although I believe most are too far gone for that.

This shows that Candy “Arse” Crowley from CNN is on the maxi-pad for my campaign.

Let me be clear, I am glad to welcome Candy “Arse” Crowley to my inner circle of cronies!

If any crony can help me out of the toilet Candy can! She the biggest shill on CNN… just look at the size of her waist-line! That’s how we measure 0bama cronies!

Here is my new campaign slogan:

    ((((Crony Candy can!))))

    ((((Crony Candy will!))))

((((Crony Candy is better than Hill!))))

((((Throw Hillary under the bus and let Candy Drive Us!))))

  • These “debates” are always moderated by hand picked hard core lefties. Republicans have not only debate the opponent, but the moderator as well. As seen in the VP debate, it was clear she ran interference for Biden. But he made an ass of himself in spite of all the help.

  • even steven

The corpulant harridan is just another Obama toady. She, along with the other leftist propagandists posing as journalists in the dying media, must have tired arms from carrying Obama’s water for nearly four years. A pox on them all.

  • C-Christian Soldier

and where was the Republican ‘leadership’ when the debate forum was being discussed?
-they had to have know the who-what – where-
    Were the R ‘leaders’ –
    reeeeeeeeeeaching across the aisle AGAIN!?????

  • Campfollower

I remember when she was a good reporter, and thinner.

    The Candy Man Can….>

Crowley is there to be Barry’s firewall, in case he stumbles again. My guess is he’ll go a bit Bidumb, and expect Crowley to use the ‘Ryan tactic’ on Romney. Romney might be too nice to take the gloves off…but I’d like to see some solid counterpunching to both Barry and Crowley, if needed. “If needed…”? Silly me…

  • dwd

The media and debate moderators actively campaign for Obama.

Romney won the first debate so now the media will inevitably say that Obama won the second because they’re mostly interested in making it a horse race. That way the race will be tied and everything will be riding on the third debate — as if we don’t know who’s going to win.

  • Militant Conservative

Yes you are right it is a death wish for the Obama ticket.

    America deserves better than Obama.

    Obama is truely un American.

  • snap boy

The mainstream media is always even-handed: they come with a knife in one hand and a gun in the other looking to rid the world of Republicans.

  • Bill Mitchell

The real question here is why did Team Romney agree to the 4 most liberal journalists on Earth moderating the debates?

  • noway

can we just kick this fat mouth overweight woman to the curb and get someobody decent to moderate?

  • Granny

OT: New US Envoy to Libya . . . . I wonder if THIS one has proper security?

  • DomesticGoddess

Her fat ass should be fired immediately. I am so damn tired of us being pushed around by these thugs and bullies.

  • Kate

Yeah, I see a fair and balanced debate here. It’s going to be a circus. Of course, if she goes over board as I expect she will, it should turn off viewers. Could do more harm than good. If the president is so weak he needs moderator assistance to be effective, then that is more than just pathetic.

  • Nosmo

Her parents and friends would say, Candy?…And she would always say yes…

  • Kate

When are the Republicans going to get tough and fight back from this kind of obvious bias? They look weak.

  • retired militaryq

    a. The Obama team will be given a list of questions ahead of time.

    b. Moderator will help Obama as much as possible.

    c. Expect major announcements from Obama team tomorrow ref economy or Bhengazi or both. They will try to throw Romney off as much as possible. Obama may make statements during the debate so that Romney team cant plan a comeback ahead of time.

Expect Obama to be more forceful. If Romney can get under his skin (which wont be hard) expect Obama to go over the top (not as much as Biden) and that will be an opening for Romney.

Candy Crowley Will Shill for Obama

Is there any doubt that Candy Crowley, who will moderate the next Romney-Obama debate, will use her liberal bias to help Obama? This is the same woman who had this to say after Mitt Romney picked Paul Ryan as his running mate:

CROWLEY: We’ve already had this debate. All they have to do at Obama Reelect is open up the files because this debate has already happened. They just bring it back, it goes, it is, you know, what they talk about. But I think the other thing that’s worth pointing out is not every Republican has signed on to this kind of, I mean, they will publicly. But there is some trepidation…

    GLORIA BORGER, CNN: They’re afraid.

CROWLEY: …that this might be, looks a little bit like some sort of ticket death wish.

This is the same woman who, when interviewing Dick Durbin and Lindsay Graham three weeks ago before the Romney surge, threw this softball to Durbin —

Because we are seeing polling indicating that in the battleground states, as well as nationwide, the president now seems ahead by an amount that is perceptible. As far as you are concerned, where are the biggest danger points for the president message wise or campaign wise as he moves forward?

  • Granny

The good news is that both campaigns are protesting her . . . . or at least they were when I read the article I can no longer find the link to . . .

  • Road Kill

DANG! She’s a big one! Are we sure her real name isn’t “Wart Hog” or “Mashed Tator”? Candy? ROFL There doesn’t look to be anything sweet about her.

  • SKay

Valerie Jarrett was a member of the Joyce Foundation where she served with Michael Brewer who is married to Janet Brown who is executive director of theCommission on Presidential Debates who selects the moderators for the Presidential and Vice Presidential debates.

Looks like they are all just old Chicago friends. Why would anyone think there might ba a bias here?

  • squeaky

i heard gallup will be picking undecideds to ask questions. i wonder how undecided they’ll be.

  • bigkahuna

The hack wont try to be overtly biased in her questions. I just expect no real tough questions that might hurt Obam to be asked. They will all be questions that are tougher on Mitt than on THE PRESIDENT whose policies suck. They will protect him.

Thats why Mitt has to simply bring up issues on his own that The Candy man wont ask or allow others to ask. The question is whether Mitt has the guts to hit him.

  • Finncrisp

Come on guys – What if Chris Christe was moderating? Stop with the tater stuff already…

  • Chris Light

Well, that’s the problem. You can’t go pull a Moderator out of a pool of Media personnel and expect to find an objective, unbiased person for the job. And the odds are its going to be a Pro-Obama type, because they outnumber the Pro-Republican (FoxNews) personalities 10 to 1.

    Here’s one bit –

Town halls have lost some of their spontaneity. The 80 or so undecided voters chosen for Tuesday’s event must submit their questions in advance and moderator Candy Crowley of CNN will decide which people to call on. She can pose her own follow-up questions.

    And here’s the link I couldn’t find earlier –

Don’t get too cocky…there are traps out there:
In Candy’s room, there are food wrappers all over the floor,
but to get to Candy’s room, you gotta walk the darkness of CNN’s halls,
Staffers from Obama, call my baby’s number and they bring her cheese,
When I come knocking, she smiles pretty, she knows I wanna be Candy’s squeeze,
There’s a sadness hidden in that pretty rounded face,
    a sadness all her own,
with the hope the media can keep Obama safe.
    We eat a pizza,
my heart burn coming back again,
when I touch the last piece of pizza, She stabs a fork in my hand,
I go driving deep into the light, in Candy’s eyes. She says,
“Just wait for the Presidential Debate suckas!
    Talk about a death wish!”

    #’s 6 & 15 have it absolutely right.

The only “death wish” I see is the fact that Republicans continually agree to these kinds of “debate” forums that are consistently “moderated” (and I use the term loosely) by liberals.

This happens every single election cycle. Why the never-ending gift to Democrats?

Can’t they just say “No”?? And “let’s try something new this time around” —

  • Grandma Perkins

Is the audience allowed to laugh?

  • Clafoutis

No doubt, Romney is smart enough to have prepared to deal with the anticipated bias. He didn’t get where he is by being stupid.

He’ll figure out a way to make sure it’s Barfack who gets hit by the bus named Candy.

Presidential debate moderator role under fire.

All I can say is, keep shooting until the threat is neutralized.

  • aprilnovember811

It’s time to stop debating on this vintage media. Please use groups with some real intelligence, and who know what America was founded on. The Heritage Foundation, Hillsdale College, Cato Institute, Mark Levin, etc. They can be aired on C-Span. These old media types are not news anymore. They are radical left propagandists. This has to stop. Stop giving them this power to interfere in elections anylonger.

Obviously Ryan scares her. If she’s mocking him, she’s worried. Candy, honey, lay off the sweets. And your stealth Jihadist, fraud president, is going to lose in a landslide. We’re coming to crush you on Nov. 6. Like a tin can under a car wheel.

  • valerie

    Look at the results.

    H/t polipundit

The moderator made a fool of herself in the vice presidential debate, and it didn’t help her side.

Newt Gingrich showed how to handle unfair moderators, and Mitt Romney has proven to be a quick study. I am sure Mitt’s team has already gamed her likely excesses.

I did come across a good suggestion at another site, however. There’s no reason whatsoever to use a reporter as a moderator in these debates. We could use a state or Federal judge, or a British MP, for example.

US judges, of course, are accustomed to listening to both sides of an argument, they know how to ask questions, and they learn to have good poker faces. A judge would not be confused about whether he is supposed to be a moderator or a participant in a debate.

A British MP knows what a debate is supposed to look like, would have no great interest in the outcome, and just might be (harmlessly) fun to watch, again without becoming a participant in the debate.

Obama And Romney Lawyers Protest Debate Moderator Candy Crowley Expressed Intention To Violate Contract

  • owl

It is going to be a circus all the way.

Obama will get the questions in advance and Romney will get a demand to be specific, over and over until it appears he is dodging the question by not answering.

  • owl

Oh, almost forgot. The person asking will tell Candy that NO she did not get an answer from Romney.

  • Look-Out

I’m remembering one of their (or BHO’s) PALS (we would later learn) getting to ask a question in ’08 from the audience. Think he’d been a colonel or something in the military and might have been gay like BHO. Expect more games that help O like that.

  • greenfairie

Yet another fixed Mafia prize fight. I expect the “undecideds” to be left-wing plants who will fluff Obama’s pillows and ask Romney when he stopped beating his wife. Crowley will demand Romney answer the question and interrupt him when he starts to get into a groove :/.

  • Look-Out

Re #48 — Michelle Malkin has the story on the liberal PLANTS – those NOT-SO-UNDECIDEDS.

There were 3 others I’d forgotten about. She has the details and will correct my memory of Keith Kerr, a retired Brig. Gen.

The leadership of the Stupid Party agreed to participate in this fiasco because… well… they’re not call the stupid party for nothing.

Frankly, I don’t feel sorry for people like this who allow themselves to be pushed into a pile of shiite for no other reason than they’re idiots who are simply too stupid to comprehend the kind of people they’re up against.

    #27 squeaky’s statement confirmed:

Tuesday night to take questions from undecided voters selected by the Gallup polling company.

    Read more:

From what I’ve heard, Gallup’s objectivity’s been compromised by pressure from BHO’s team to turn in better numbers for them. Their numbers suddenly changed during that time period to favor BHO. Haven’t watched their polling lately, but I don’t have alot of confidence in them choosing fair questioners now because of it.

  • US Navy Corpseman

This fat liberal cow to ‘choose’ which questions to be aired?? I’d rather have Mark Levin be the moderator. Jugears would refuse to participate.

  • mg4us

Romney needs to be prepared to show true leadership and do a Gingrich on Crowley if she oversteps her role.

Romeny can use this to highlight how MSM spins thinks and acts as propaganda machine for WH. . Call out MSM on behaving like elitist snobs. .

And failing to do their job as objective journalists and properly vetting Obama. . .they know more about Romney’s dog than the dog meat Obama used to eat. . .or the people who influenced him.

MSM lies and democracy dies. . .got that Candy.

  • Bob

Were the Republicans asleep at the wheel when these moderators were chosen? They are ALL left wing. why, why, why? Are the Republicans THAT impotent? What the F**k.

I think they should just cancel the last two and call it a day.
