FOX News foreign policy analyst Catherine Herridge told Greta Van Susteren Wednesday,
“From what I see the State Department has culpability in the death of the US Ambassador and three Americans.”

The warnings to the State Department were:
** Specific
** Direct
** They named the enemy
** They said the consulate needed more support

This followed the damning memo that was released today signed by Ambassador Stevens in August and sent to the State Department. The classified cable on August 15 warned the Obama Administration that the Benghazi consulate could not withstand a “coordinated attack.”

You must see this:

Catherine Herridge:

“What I see is a growing body of evidence that the State Department has culpability in the death of the ambassador and those three Americans. The warnings were specific. They were direct. They named the enemy and they said that this consulate needed more support. And it also indicated in the cable that the consulate should probably move long term into the annex. We now know that’s the CIA facility in Benghazi… I think it’s important that the people who died have themselves honored with the facts and I think we’re starting to get the facts.”

  1. This whole operation was at very least, murder. The sad thing is that the guilty will never be punished for this crime. Another internal investigation will exonerate the guilty and place the blame on the victims, this is how Washington DC works. We keep harping on transparency, but a little truth and honesty would sure help.

  2. BS, opinko is culpable he watched and did nothing….!

  3. Barry, Hilliary, the whole sorry lot are culpable.

  4. Curious that there is a tremendous amount of secret and classified emails and cables being leaked out lately.

The patriots are getting fed up and finally turning on the treasonous one.

  5. remember them saying “no credible or actionable threat”?

    Lies and incompetence.
    Politically motivated cover-up.

The Right Question Is – “Why?”

    by Mychal Massie

[The question is not why did Obama, et al, move to cover
up and obfuscate the circumstances surrounding the attack.

The question is why was Stevens allowed to be killed and why were
Smith, Woods and Doherty allowed to become collateral fatalities?
That is the question we need answered. That is the question that
    the media isn’t asking.]

Why Was Security Stripped in Benghazi?

    by Clare Lopez

[Whatever the thinking that left a U.S. mission abroad so undefended that
it practically constituted an open invitation to Al-Qaeda, and then, in cold
blood, refused to launch military support in defense of Americans fighting
and dying to defend U.S. sovereign territory from jihadi assault, the cover-
up is fast becoming the worse failure. It is time for administration leaders,
from the president on down, to explain both their actions and their failures
    to act.

    Humanitarian Hypocrisy

[First, a report exposed, in the words of the Turkish Coalition of America, “Turkey’s continued interest in expanding business and cultural ties with the American Indian community” and “Turkey’s interest in building bridges to Native American communities across the U.S.” Rep. Tom Cole, R-Okla., even introduced a bill that would give Turks special rights and privileges in Native American tribal areas, arguing that “[t]his bill is about helping American Indians,” and about “helping the original inhabitants of the new world, which is exactly what this legislation would do.”

The very idea that Turkey’s Islamist government is interested in “helping American Indians” is preposterous, both from a historical and contemporary point of view. In the 15th century, when Christian Europeans were discovering the Americas, Muslim Turks were conquering and killing Christians in Europe (which, of course, is why Europeans starting sailing west in the first place). If early European settlers fought and killed natives, only recently, Turkey committed a mass genocide against Armenian Christians. And while the U.S. has made many reparations to its indigenous natives, Turkey not only denies the Armenian holocaust, but still abuses and persecutes its indigenous Christians.]

    “The Gulen Movement”

[When Gulen came to the U.S. in 1999, it was for medical treatment.
But then this video surfaced in which he seems to order his flock to surreptitiously take over key government positions in Turkey in a stealth Islamic coup. Accused of treason by the government at the time, Gulen decided to stay in the Poconos — even after he was cleared in 2008 in Abstenia.

    [..]

Seeming to have such power, this “Wizard of Oz” recluse invites conspiracy theories that he’s running Turkey from the Poconos and is bent on global Muslim domination. His movement does lack transparency: its funding, hierarchy, and ambitions remain hidden — leading our State Department to wonder in cables between Ankara and Washington if Gulen has an “insidious political agenda.”]

  8. A memo signed by Ambassador Stevens is not in and of itself evidence of a pending terrorist attack….
Its about as actionable as an internet posting by Al Quaida taking credit for a video protest that turned violant.

  9. Catherine Herridge is a real Ace. She’s the best terrorist, and Middle East expert I’ve ever seen. Thank God she’s on Fox News where they let her tell her stories.

  11. What happened to the 30 people who were rescued because of Ty Woods’ heroism? Where are they? WHO are they? Why haven’t they spoken up? Someone called in to the Hannity show tonight asking the same things. Hannity cut her off, dodging the questions.

  12. One of the things Stevens had been trying to track down were portable MANPAD missiles, a Russian version of the Stinger which we may have routed to the Libyan rebel groups during their civil war.

This was probably why Obama wouldn’t send in the AC-130s, for fear of losing one. Even landing a transport chopper at the airport (which was secure, at least) with a SEAL or Ranger team might be subject to this risk on approach since the terrorists would be expecting it.

Drones aren’t well suited to the sort of cover needed, if we had sent an armed one in. The first on the scene was diverted from watching the nearby Qaeda camps (yeah, I know) and ran low on fuel. The second came from Italy unarmed, why is anyone’s guess.

Bottom line: Obama was afraid of another Desert Storm debacle, so close to the election. So he decided to watch them die instead.

BTW, there were 32 Americans who survived, so we had a lot of people at risk.

    ______

From everything I’ve read it wasn’t Russian missiles Stevens was rounding up, it was OURS. And there is at least some evidence for that going back many months. There have been repeated mentions in the press of the US arming the rebel groups in various countries in the Mideast, including Libya. Too bad nobody noticed those “rebel groups” are actually al queda.

  14. OK so according to the media

There was a Presidential Daily Briefing given to Bush a couple months before 9/11 that said, “bin Laden determined to attack in the continental US” and from that he ‘personally’ should have been able to determine exactly what was going to happen down to the names of the hijackers and flights numbers of the airplanes.

Now the Obama administration was basically told who, what, where, when, why and how about Bengazi but now we are told by the same media, “There just wasn’t enough actionable intelligence.”

Really? The MSM is a criminal front group for the Democrat Party.
