Islamic terrorists attacked the US embassy in Benghazi with rocket propelled grenades and machine gun fire on 9-11. The terrorists were reportedly led by Sufyan Ben Qumu, a former Gitmo detainee.

Libyans dragged the body of US Ambassador Christopher Stevens out of the compound after his murder. Al- Ahram
But there’s more…
After the US Consulate in Benghazi was bombed in April and then bombed in June the Obama Administration bragged, “Our security worked!”
Three months later terrorists murdered our ambassador.
The Wall Street Journal reported, via Draw and Strike:
State Department officials said security for the consulate was frequently reviewed and was deemed sufficient to counter what U.S. officials considered to be the most likely threat at the time: a limited hit-and-run attack with rocket-propelled grenades or improvised explosive devices, or IEDs.
There was a string of attacks in Benghazi in the months before Sept. 11, including a June 6 IED explosion outside the consulate compound. “These types of incidents were the ones that were our principal concerns,” a senior State Department official said. Based on the outcome of the June 6 attack, in which a perimeter wall was damaged but no Americans hurt, a second State Department official added: “Our security plan worked.”
It worked swell.
Now we have 4 dead Americans including the Libyan ambassador at that same consulate.

So Obama lied and the Ambassador and some friends died. Only 6 US Ambassadors have been attacked and killed in the history of our country. The unimaginable mess Barry and his crew have made of this is a tribute to how they really feel about this nation. Fact is – they are all about trampling of our values and our diminishing our status in the world. There is no other explaination.
This story needs to be front and center for the next 30+ days to get more undecideds and unmotivated voters to vote this creep out.

A sad & disturbing photo of the ambassador. I wonder if Obama has seen it, I wonder if he even cares. But why do I ask, Obama was busy doing fund raisers, trash that he is.

I love your site, but could you please stop showing the picture of the Ambassador. I know it’s news, but out of respect for him and his family, please discontinue the photo.

comment from JOM thread.
I hope someone @ Team Romney reads it:
Romney should go straight after Zero – and the MSM – re: Libya in the debate. Screw rules, format, topics.
First question, turn to Zero:
“I’ll answer that question in a moment. But first I have to ask the President, here and now, why has he been lying to the American people about the murder of our Ambassador? Our intelligence services knew almost immediately that it was a terrorist attack, and still you sent out your Secretary of State and your UN Ambassador and your press secretary to lie to all of us. Why? You owe the families of the four victims an answer.
And you owe the American people an answer.”

Republicans: Snatching Defeat From Jaws Of Victory
[Americans haven’t forgotten about Fast and Furious. Just because a report gives Eric Holder wiggle room to lie about how it exonerated him from involvement in the diabolical government plan intended to ultimately deprive us of our Second Amendment right to own and bear arms–the truth is that the report did not exonerate Holder as he is claiming.
[..]
And proving they are consistent–even if they seem to set a different standard of personal accountability when it comes to their own–Republicans are also calling for U.N. Ambassador Susan Rice to resign for her reporting that the murder of our Libyan Ambassador Christopher Stevens and three others by terrorists was an isolated incident by a few disgruntled Libyans.
What is it that makes Republicans so averse to the truth? Do they take an oath to only hold other Republicans responsible for innocuous statements? I offer their treatment of former Congressman Trent Lott and Congressman Akin as examples.
Why do Republicans throw members of their Party under the proverbial bus at even the suggestion of impropriety and allow Erebusic leftists to go unpunished? Why are they silent about Fox News’ refusal to fire Jehmu Greene for the calling Tucker Carlson the equivalent of the “N” word in the black lexicon?
Republicans must decide if they are Republicans or Democrat flunkies in drag. When will they understand we are not electing them to play golf with Obama and capitulate to Democrat ideology?
They despise honorable Tea Party groups because we represent truth and accountability. It is my opinion that until we hold them accountable for their actions our government will be nothing more than a den of thieves, whose sole commitment is to their pensions and whatever else they can rob us of for themselves.]

The fundamental problem here is that we have an administration that is willing to sacrifice the lives of our people in the pursuit of “larger issues.” The reason that poor man’s battered and possibly dead body is being shown is because this is not the first case demonstrating that this administration doesn’t care who gets killed.

“Based on information provided to the Committee by individuals with direct knowledge of events in Libya, the attack that claimed the ambassador’s life was the latest in a long line of attacks on Western diplomats and officials in Libya in the months leading up to September 11, 2012,” House Oversight and Government Reform Committee chairman Darrell Issa, R-Calif., and subcommittee chairman Jason Chaffetz, R-Utah, wrote Clinton today. They dismissed out-of-hand the suggestion that the attack ever could have been regarded as a spontaneous protest gone awry.
“In addition, multiple U.S. federal government officials have confirmed to the Committee that, prior to the September 11 attack, the U.S. mission in Libya made repeated requests for increased security in Benghazi,” Issa and Chaffetz added (my emphasis). “The mission in Libya, however, was denied these resources by officials in Washington.”

In a simple time, the President would have been tarred and feathered for this, and run out of town on a rail. Now all we have is a picture.

Using this (or any other up close and tragic photo) is a double edged sword..,
Yes, it’s horrid for family/friends to know their loved one’s photo is being displayed, BUT, pictures like these make it more “up close and personal”. We live in a society where people are murdered and tortured everyday…it becomes the part of life we “hear” about, but don’t really recoil over.
When you have photos as barbaric, as indecent as this, it brings it a little closer to home.
Especially when someone has done nothing wrong and not chosen to engage in violence.
Its horrifying to believe, but the fact remains, this could be any one of us. These nomads are, and will bring this rage to our shores. I guess you could take this photo and put the caption, “YOUR NAME HERE”…
