Al Gore Blames The Debate Outcome On Altitude: Obama Can’t Function At 5,000 Feet (Video)

At least Liberals are consistent. Why should Obama take responsibility for his stunningly abysmal debate performance last night when it can be blamed on something else? Al Gore has decided that Obama’s squirming, hand-staring, and off-topic, straw man rambling was due to the high altitude of Denver.
So, in other words, we have a leader of the free world who can’t function at 5,000 feet. That’s reassuring to know. Maybe Obama’s next campaign promise will be to remain at sea level for the next four years.
According to The Blaze,
Former Vice President Al Gore on Wednesday suggested a curious culprit was to blame for President Barack Obama’s lackluster debate performance: Denver’s high altitude.
“I’m going to say something controversial here,” Gore said on Current TV. “Obama arrived in Denver at 2 p.m. today, just a few hours before the debate started. Romney did his debate prep in Denver. When you go to 5,000 feet and you only have a few hours to adjust — I don’t know.”

Sorry, that does NOT fly. Yes, Denver is a “mile high” and it might cause you to be a teeny bit short of breath. If you live there, your red blood cell count will likely go up a little bit, but that takes many weeks – FAR longer than Romney has been in Denver.
Al Bore apparently knows as much bout medicine and human physiology as he knows about “climate change.”
PS – We’re having “climate change” in a big way here in Vermont. It is called FALL.

Actually, the thinner air does make it harder to breathe, especially for a smoker (bones?). Even i an amatuer know that and wondered if his handlers would get him there early to acclimate. best way to overcome effects of altitude is drink beaucoup water….90 minutes without does make one disoriented…..his handlers did NOT serve him well….Mitt who has spent time in the mountains knew this and was ready……new rule ..in future debates the Repub must be in a desert or ice cap and Dim can phone it in…Mittens was clear, focused, looked and acted Presidential
