Thud. The Obama bounce hits bottom.

Gallup
Barack Obama dropped three points over the weekend.
The Hill reported:
President Obama’s small bounce in the polls following the Democratic National Convention has all but vanished in Tuesday’s Gallup daily tracking poll.
Obama takes 47 percent support among registered voters over Romney’s 46, according to the poll.
Obama’s lead widened to 7 points in the days following the Charlotte, N.C., convention earlier this month, but Tuesday’s data show the race returning the level where it’s been throughout most of the contest.
Prior to the conventions, Gallup’s poll had been almost completely static, with each candidate averaging 46 percent since May.
The president’s approval rating also dipped back below 50 percent for the first time since the convention.
Even back in 1980, Gallup had Jimmy Carter up over Ronald Reagan by 4 points in mid to late September… And, Carter was up 8 points in October. In fact there was a published Gallup poll showing Carter up six among likely voters in a poll conducted Oct. 24 to 27.

UPDATE: But reporters are afraid to report the six point Obama drop.
Reporters, anchors don’t want to end up on ‘Kill List’. Understandable. Can’t do Obama 6-point drop for week @gallup bit.ly/Qj63cn

THINK ABOUT IT LIKE THIS:
Imagine you have been married for almost 4 years. I come to you and say you will have a chance to renew your vows on November 6th. If you choose not to, the marriage will end. No harm no foul.
If you hesitate at all, your marriage is in serious trouble.
Obama is in trouble.

But, but, but, let’s look at Romney’s gaffes. . . . whimper. . . whimper. . .
Bill Mitchell commented:
Also, remember that Gallup does not even do us the courtesy of polling registered voters for his Presidential Approval Poll, that is a poll of merely adults.
For Obama to be under 50% in a poll of adults he is in deep deep deep trouble.
Patty commented:
Call me perplexed. Why is this election even close.
Maybe this anxiety is misplaced. President Obama has never been able to rise above 47% support in the polls, and perhaps when November comes undecided voters will break against the incumbent, as the conventional wisdom has it. Maybe the election won’t be so close after all. We’d all better hope so. Because, given the rate at which Democrats are frantically adding to the dependency state, another four years of Obama may be enough to tip the balance between the private sector and government dependence once and for all.

A CORRUPT DOJ, A CORRUPT MEDIA AND OBAMA
Bill Mitchell commented:
Does anyone else find it amusing that the MSM actually considers speaking the truth a “gaffe”. And why is it a gaffe at all? Because THEY say it is.
The Left and especially Team Obama make one huge miscalculation. They honestly believe that the majority of Americans agree with them. They do not.
Want to know what would be hilarious? If Romney eventually wins 53/47. That would be funny.

Romney needs a new bumper sticker:

Patty commented:
I’ll promise you this…if Obama is defeated this election… If the American people send him on his way…there is gonna be a whole sh-t pile of information coming out on what was really going on inside that White House of his and Jarrett’s. People will have the guts to speak out – openly. And they won’t be alone. They will be able to do it without the fear that hangs over them now – all of us…how scary sh-t is right now.
And when all that truth starts to come out…people…the ones willing to listen and understand…they are gonna realize just how close the country…how close we were to the darkness. The future that was gonna be ripped away from their kids and grandkids. And how their votes against Obama saved America. How they saved that future. In the end…like I told you…in the end when the country is in real crisis – it always comes down to the American people to save it.

You are either working so hard, no time for politics until the last minute, then you decide. It is going to end up to these voters. They aren’t your political junkies. Depends on many factors, are they listening to the bias HOLDER approved media or the real truth that can be found with a click of the remote or on line. Will they take the time to understand this is the most IMPORTANT election of our time. It is reliance on Government rights slipping away a failed national security OR IS IT FREEDOM FREE MARKET FREE TO BE A NATION WHERE OUR EDUCATION IS #1 AND OUR PRODUCTIVITY IS NOT 7TH IN THE WORLD. WE WILL BE NUMBER ONE AGAIN.
Those are these voters choices, I pray the make the right decision for us and the future of our children.

Course O is in serious trouble that’s why the media is in tail-spin, trying to make everything about Romney from the Middle East, to tape that Jimmy Carter’s unemployed grandson was setting on of Romney telling the truth about a percentage of Americans who pay no income tax and depend on government to take care of them…….

While speaking in Cincinnati on Monday, Obama said, “The only thing they [Republicans] can do is keep trying to bluff their way through until November, and hope that you won’t call them on it.
But understand Cincinnati, look, I want to work with them to reduce the deficit. I’ve said if the Republicans need more love, if they want me to walk the dog or wash their car, I’m happy to do it.”

Remember, this poll is from the ‘tainted’ Gallup who bowed to pressure from Obungle and Mr. Creosote (axlenut).
Sparky commented:
The worry isn’t Obama’s numbers.
The concern should be that against the WORST President in the history of the US, Romney cannot even get over 50% in the polls.
Maybe Romney should kick it up a few notches and start playing to win!!
