MITT ROMNEY RESPONDS to Leaked Fundraiser Video – Slams Obama (Video)

Mitt Romney responded tonight to the leaked fundraiser video by Mother Jones. Romney told reporters that the leaked video was from a question and answer session where he was asked about how he planned on winning the campaign this year. He admitted it wasn’t elegantly stated. Romney then went on to explain his free market vision for America versus Obama’s big government approach that has put more people on disability than in jobs. He was brilliant. He put the focus back on Barack Obama’s failed policies.
Look for the state-run media to attack him for daring to speak out in his own defense.
Here is the transcript:
“Of course, there’s a very different approach of the two campaigns. As I point out that among those that pay no tax, approximately 47% of Americans, I’m not likely to be highly successful with a message of lowering taxes. That’s not as attractive to those who don’t pay income taxes as to those who do. And likewise, those who are reliant on government are not as attracted to my message of slimming down the size of government…
The president and I have two very different approaches to the future of America and what it takes to ignite our economy and put people back to work. The president believes in what I describe as a government centered society. Where government plays a larger and larger role and plays more and more of the needs of individuals. And, I happen to believe instead in a free enterprise, free individual society where people pursuing their dreams are able to employ one another, build enterprises, build the strongest economy in the world. I happen to believe that my approach is the approach that will put 23 million people back to work again.
We’ve watched the approach of the president’s approach over the last 3 1/2 or 4 years. And his government centric, larger and larger government approach has meant that we have 15 million more people on food stamps, 23 million people out of work or stopped looking for work, or underemployed. We have had 43 straight months of unemployment above 8%. And my view is the right approach for the nation is not to adopt a government centered approach but instead a free, free people, free enterprise, free market consumer driven approach and that will build the strongest economy for ourselves and for the coming generations.”

He didn’t back down though, I liked that and he’s not a wuss like Obama and takes questions. Maybe he should call more of these it seems to be the only way he can get his message out in this Obama media.

They decided to release it today to make this a “lead story” and to get the burning down of the Middle East off the lead story.
Obama’s Middle East policy is imploding before our very eyes, and they have to keep throwing anti Romney stories to the public to help cover for Obama.

at HotAir …or Breitbart) it was Jimmy Carter’s son who put them on to it…apparently he does opposition research?

Good grief. No passion whatsoever. This guy is every bit the disaster we knew he’d be going toe to toe with Barry.
It’s over, and anyone who thinks a defeat is going to light a fire under the tea party to refocus and fight is beyond delusional. This election is going to be unbelievably dispiriting, and the tea party (uh…where the hell are they, anyway???) are going to be despondent and apathetic.

The first election after the 2010 election, when America rose up and said NO WAY to this new America? We kicked ass in 2010. This was supposed to be a repeat of that, only at the Presidential election. After waiting four long years, we were going to right the wrong. It was such a sure thing!! How could we lose??? It was Jimmy Carter redux.
There’s no way the tea party is going to be whipped up after waking up the day after the election with that hollow sinking feeling that it’s over.
Unless an absolute MIRACLE happens, Obama is going to win HANDILLY. We’re (the Right) is delusional if we think the wind isn’t going to be sucked out of the sails after seeing THAT happen.
