I was a media hound all my life, until I just got so fed up I turned off TV about six years ago and discovered that I don’t miss it. not the State-run news outlets nor the corrupting entertainment.

I go to a sports bar when I want to see a game and enjoy the atmosphere with a pub burger and Guinness straight from the tap. If the weather is bad, I’ll try to stream the game off the internet. if not, I miss it. I can click for highlights later. DVDs can take care of everything else.

I DON’T MISS TV. I thought I would, but I can click almost anything on the internet when I want to- and 96.464% of the time, I don’t care.

I DON’T MISS TV, and I don’t care anymore because I don’t identify with them anymore.

here’s my point: if I turned them off, and I ain’t special, then so have many others, and more will.
State media’s chickens….. are coming home….. to Roooooooost.

I couldn’t believe it when the Little Rock ABC station played that clip that Obama was just wanting to pool resources to improve the efficiency of local government. Lightning should have struck the station. These “we love Obama” segments are really wearing on me. I can’t for the life of me figure out what they think they’re accomplishing — it’s sure not telling the truth. And it’s sure not playing to the audience — this state didn’t vote for the unqualified, incompetent, unscrupulous little creep last time around; and the chances of it going to him this time seem to be slim and none. Yet all the Little Rock stations just can’t spend enough air time extolling the virtues of Obama and slandering Romney. The CBS affiliate is so far up Obama’s ass they must be tickling his tonsils. I’ve been changing channels when they start with this crap, but I think Ghost is right that the best solution is just to turn them off entirely.

Right now, Obama wants the media to be in his corner so he can continue with his plan of turning this once proud country from a strong and economic superpower to something more identifiable of a third world country. If you go see the movie 2016: Obama’s America you will see one example of this. In fact, it’s in Obama’s own words and it outlines his plans for our country. Many of the passages in the movie (in Obama’s own words) are taken from Obama’s own book called Dreams From My Father. I recommend regardless of which party you’re registered under to go see this movie.

We’ve already seen Obama’s contempt for the United States Constitution with his squelching those who oppose him verbally (the First Amendment) to controlling guns and the right to carry them (the Second Amendment). Let’s not forget how socialism starts, first it’s the takeover of the people by putting out propaganda that the government is on your side and will fix your problems and support you. Then once that plan of acceptance is put in place, then more stronger methods are put into place. Remember, our government is supposed to be “of the people, by the people and for the people” but under Obama’s government it’s turning into something much different than that.

The mainstream media will have to decide wholeheartedly where they stand. Do they want to be known as Obama’s media arm and do his attacking for him, or do they want to tell the story from both sides of the equation and let the people decide for themselves on who they think will be the best leader? Right now by attacking Romney and shielding Obama they aren’t doing themselves or the voters any favors.
