White House Finally Admits Brian Terry Was Shooting Beanbags Against Cartel Assault Rifles

Beanbags versus Bullets

US Border Agent Brian Terry was shooting beanbags at cartel members before they shot him dead with assault rifles. (Truth about Guns)

For the first time the Obama Administration today admitted that Brian Terry and fellow border agents were firing beanbags and not bullets during their shootout with armed cartel members.
FOX News reported, via Free Republic:

For the first time, federal officials revealed Monday that murdered Border Patrol agent Brian Terry and an elite squad of federal agents first fired bean bags — not bullets — at a heavily armed drug cartel crew in the mountains south of Tucson in December 2011.

The announcement came as the Department of Justice unsealed an indictment charging five individuals allegedly involved in Terry’s death. A sixth suspect has also been charged in a related incident.

The U.S. is also offering a reward of up to $1 million for information leading to the arrest of four outstanding suspects believed to hiding out in Mexico. The names of the four suspects were revealed, and their pictures released, to the public. Police in the US and in Mexico are cooperating and under intense pressure to find them.

Two of the suspects are hiding out in Washington D.C.

Obama put the defense of the United States at the mercy of bean bags. Think about that. The enemy has assault rifles given to them by Holder et al and our brave border patrol agents are issued bean bags. Why isn’t this treason?

If you ever wondered what Lincoln meant by “the last full measure of devotion”, there are few better definitions.

Here is a devastating report where liberals have take Political Correctness to a whole new level.

I am just making a statement that is mine and mine alone but I would be surprised if the Terry family didn’t know this. Just my opinion.

“For the first time, federal officials revealed Monday that murdered Border Patrol agent Brian Terry and an elite squad of federal agents first fired bean bags — not bullets”

ELITE by whom. This is not the way our National Security is affective. And now, Blood is on the hands of the Radical DOJ who believe that talking to criminals and treating them like human beings instead of the dogs they are. My theory and I am sure the Terry’s is, had the Border Patrol had bullets, and man it is amazing they didn’t, Brian, their beloved son would be alive, today.

Check out in your city sometime how the correctness in our LAW ENFORCEMENT AGENCIES are also taking political correctness to a whole new level.

I am amazed more officers haven’t lost their life.

#4 Roark said it far more eloquently than I ever could . . . .

“Disarmed by the very bureaucrats that armed their killers.”

unbelievable. Makes you wonder what was going thru the heads of these officers as the gunfight started to deteriorate.

How terribly sad for the Terry family. My blood starts to boil when I think of the nameless, faceless and utterly spineless Washington bureaucrats behind this decision. Congressman Issa needs to start naming names.

Who would still want to be a border guard in this country? Who wouldn’t run away from that job as fast as he possibly could? Unbelievable… although the pattern all fits: the federal government is more in love with illegal aliens than it is its own citizenry. Arizona, Alabama, Florida, South Carolina — the general government has all but declared war on these and other states on this issue, and the states find themselves in a precarious situation: take it, wait it out, or – maybe – bail. I’ve posted my complete analysis at http://www.tenthamendment.net/home/story.asp?postid=19.

For willfully failing to protect and secure America’s borders and for authorizing the most stupid and ill-conceived operation in American history, Fast and Furious, “the border has never been more secure” wrong-way napolitano, “You Lie!” hussein and imbecile AG holder should all be charged as accomplices to murder in the deaths of Border Patrol Agents Brian Terry and Jaime Zapata.

It seems as if there’s always something on the nightly news or the morning papers that reminds me just how difficult it is to be a police officer in today’s politically correct climate. Recently, the President of the United States called a Cambridge police sergeant stupid for doing his job and essentially equated the sergeant’s reasonable behavior with that of a foolish, out-of-control professor. Several weeks ago, I read an editorial in the L.A. Times by one of the paper’s regular contributors who may have surpassed both the professor and the president of the United States in allowing prejudice to cloud her judgment.

    I’ve always believed good police work was about knowing the law and enforcing it. Police officers can’t change the social make up and dynamics of a community. They have little lasting impact on crime trends, and all the talk at crime stat meetings won’t change that. They aren’t social workers, priests, crossing guards, babysitters, or mommies. They carry guns and handcuffs because they should be concentrating on preventing crime, catching the bad guys and protecting the people they serve. If they do that really well, they create an environment for good things to happen in a community. Throughout the history of the LAPD, a lot of brave men and women of all races and backgrounds died doing just that. Their uniform was one color – blue, and I can’t remember one of them hesitating or walking away because the victim they had to protect was a particular color or economic status.{…}

    So much more here: http://www.conniedial.com/2009/08/26/being-a-police-officer-in-today%E2%80%99s-politically-correct-climate/

My point is with a DOJ and a President so out of touch and promoting more on the side of the criminal, and this isn’t a new concept, other liberal Mayors weigh on the side of the criminal as to the Judges.

Recently, a story I had read of a young man who gave four others a ride and ending up killing all for in a stolen car, well, he was released and recently he stole another car.

That is not justice that is liberalism. And political correctness and a waste of an officer time to see this revolving door, over and over again.

Border Patrol and all law enforcement job is to enforce the law, bullets, bullet proof vest and every piece of equipment should be at their call. And for the bean bags, give them back to the kids.

I guess this is why Ice was instructed to run and hide if they were fired upon. Bean bags vs. real bullets all supplied by this administration. This is too weird.

Stop Spending. SECURE THE BORDERS. Drill.
Or clear the way for those who will.

I for one will never be shooting beanbags while defending my country…

Those of you who know men or women serving in our military may want to ask them what the Rules of Engagement are. I spoke with a Soldier with 23yrs experience. He told me and I quote,”I can not even load my weapon until a bullet has buzzed by my head.” He could have stayed in 1 more year and received more money and benefits. He said FU. He also said and I quote, “I called my congressman and told him I was bringing my release papers to him, that I did NOT want that Man’s name( Obummer) anywhere in his house.” Gotta Love That !!

    Tuning Out a President

[So Barack Obama is likewise being tuned out. “Let me be perfectly clear,” “Make no mistake about it,” “In truth,” “In point of fact,” “I’m not kidding,” and “I’m not making this up” all tip off a weary public that just the opposite is true. We are so confused over Guantanamo, Predators, and renditions — being told everything from them being unconstitutional to vital — that we likewise just shrug at the absurdity of an Obama and Harold Koh embracing all the protocols that they once has so vehemently demonized. Were they then, now, or always just simpletons, naïfs, hypocrites, or abject careerists?

    Bush Did It All

We have created four million new jobs since January 2009 which is cited as an impressive statistic, although we have also lost far more than four million old jobs, which is why a half million fewer Americans are at work today than in January 2009 — which is nevertheless supposedly good news given that more jobs were “saved” than would have been lost. In olden times, “It’s the economy, stupid” was the reply to 3% plus GDP growth under Bush I, and a “jobless recovery” was the charge against Bush II’s 5.4% unemployment rate. What name does 1.9% GDP growth and 41 months of 8% plus unemployment merit? Or in other words, since a younger Barack Obama damned the Bush record of job creation as dismal in creating only 310,000 jobs per month, what he would say of his own record of 80,000 jobs this month — a number 5,000 smaller than those added to the monthly disability roles? And does anyone remember Obama’s promise of “5 million new green jobs,” or cutting the deficit “in half” by the end of Obama’s first term? You should, since the candidate who swore there should be no more red or blue states declared George W. Bush “unpatriotic” for running up a $4 trillion debt in eight years, which he then trumped in three.]

The cartel brought assault rifles to a pillow fight. Is this the “fairness” this destructive administration wants? My thoughts and prayers continue to go out to the Terry family. God bless them.
