NAACP Lib Hacks Rally Around Holder at Annual Convention (Video)

Far left hacks with the NAACP, the former human rights group, rallied around embattled Attorney General Eric Holder at their annual convention.
They ought to be ashamed of themselves.
The Politico reported:
In a rousing speech at the NAACP convention in Houston, Attorney General Eric Holder on Tuesday strongly defended his efforts to block controversial voter ID laws in some states – including Texas – saying the Justice Department “will not allow political pretexts to disenfranchise American citizens of their most precious right.”
“The arc of American history has always moved toward expanding the electorate. It is what has made this nation exceptional. We will simply not allow this era to be the beginning of the reversal of that historic progress,” Holder told the assembled delegates
Holder further suggested that the Texas voter ID laws were passed for political reasons rather than a genuine desire to prevent voting fraud.
“In our efforts to protect voting rights and to prevent voting fraud, we will be vigilant and strong. But let me be clear, let me be very, very clear: we will not allow political pretexts to disenfranchise American citizens of their most precious right,” the attorney general said to uproarious applause.
It was an appropriate venue: Monday was the first day of trial in a case that Texas has filed against the Justice Department over approval of its voter ID law, and the NAACP convention was set in Houston…
…At one point during his address, an audience member shouted out, “We love you,” to which Holder responded, “I love you back!”
As he left the stage, he was sent off with racous applause, a standing ovation and chants of “Holder! Holder! Holder!”
Holder is all about voting rights… Except when whitey is threatened.
It might demean his people.

donated roughly a million dollars to the Democratic Party and the Clinton
Library. Whatever your opinion may be of the pardon, it certainly looked
like a very sleazy “You give us money and we’ll wipe your crime off the
books” deal.
Ironically, Rich was in trouble for evading 48 million
dollars in taxes. That’s ironic for two reasons.
First off, if Rich funneled 1/48th of the money he owed in taxes into the
Democratic Party and got a pardon out of it, he proved crime does pay
— at least when you’re dealing with Democrats. However, it’s also ironic
because Denise Rich is also about to save millions in taxes not by evading
taxes, but by simply renouncing her American citizenship.]

But it’s also possible that many minorities are as disappointed as everyone else with the lackluster recovery. For all of Mr. Obama’s attempts to portray Mitt Romney as out of touch, no one has suffered more in the Obama economy than minorities.
Which explains Mr. Holder’s racial incitement strategy. If Mr. Obama is going to win those swing states again, he needs another burst of minority turnout. If hope won’t get them to vote for Mr. Obama again, then how about fear?

-cash a check
-serve in the Military
-collect lottery winnings of any significant amount
-get a credit card, a debit card or even a bank account
-rent a car
-get a driver’s license (so you can rent the car!)
-rent furniture or “pay as you go”
-get a pay day loan
-get on an airplane
-borrow a book from the library
-donate blood
-get into many buildings
-get into many political & sporting events
-own a gun (legally)
-join a union
-get into any venue where Obama is present
-buy, sell or transfer property
-visit some doctors and dentists
-get legally hired for any job
-attend school
-take college entrance exams (SAT etc)
-buy liquor or be served an alcoholic drink in a restaurant
-buy certain drain cleaners in Chicago
-pick up your prescriptions (in some states)
-buy many over-the-counter allergy medications
-get a Costco or Sam’s Club membership
-ride on Amtrak
-attend the Democratic National Convention
-apply for a passport
etc etc
Seems to me you can’t really do much of anything or have any quality of life without photo ID, which makes me really doubt that it’s about wanting to suppress votes.
The Dems keep saying it’s “not fair” to make these people obtain & produce proper ID, but somehow think it’s fair to have legitimate votes “stolen” by someone who doesn’t have the right to vote?

… including “600 dead people voted in Florida in 2008″ (you’d think that fact alone would be enough to motivate Holder to drop his lawsuit!)

“Madison County, Mississippi has 123% more registered voters than people over the age of 18. 486 people on the list of registered voters are over 105. 190,000 new voters have registered for the 2008 election”
Considering that some elections are won or lost by a couple hundred votes, these numbers are pretty disturbing, and should be disturbing to people on both sides of the aisle.

Just before looking at this GP update and your comment, I completed replying to my local 2012 Election Judge Coordinator with my date preferences for the required training to help provide oversight of the coming election. Voter integrity is fundamental to the survival of our republic, every deliberate violation should be considered a felony on par with “terrorism” and tantamount to treason.
