Lib Media to America: Face It, We’re Going to Carry Water for Obama No Matter How Bad He Is

The liberal media announced today that no matter what, they are going to carry water for Obama. And, their goal is to make Republicans and independents feel demoralized no matter what the truth is.
The AP reported:
History repeats itself, until it doesn’t. That musty truism is worth remembering as pundits speculate on whether the lumbering economy will doom the re-election hopes of President Barack Obama, who has shown a knack for beating odds and breaking barriers.
Clearly, some important trends are working against him. The latest evidence is Friday’s lackluster jobs report, which found the nation’s unemployment rate stuck at 8.2 percent.
Franklin D. Roosevelt was the last president to win re-election with so much joblessness. Voters ousted Presidents Jimmy Carter and George H.W. Bush when the jobless rate was well under 8 percent.
And it’s not as if Obama can divert the nation’s attention from the economy, which has dominated the election from the start. His signature domestic achievement, the 2010 health care overhaul, is a mixed political blessing, uniting Republicans against him. Voters show little interest in how his administration wound down the Iraq war and killed Osama bin Laden.
And yet Obama runs even with, or slightly ahead of, Republican rival Mitt Romney in poll after poll. Campaign strategists debate the reasons.
They might include Obama’s personal likeability, gaps in Romney’s strategy, or Americans’ grudging acceptance of a new normal in which millions of jobs are gone for good, and no single person is responsible.
Obama continues to trail Mitt Romney in the Rasmussen daily poll – 46% to 44%.

A new Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey shows just 31% of Likely Voters believe President Obama is doing a good or excellent job handling economic issues, including 12% who say he is doing an excellent job. Forty-eight percent (48%) believe Obama is doing a poor job in this area.

Illustrating how availability cascades influence the regulation of risks associated with production, consumption, and the environment, Kuran and Sunstein have also proposed reforms to alleviate their adverse effects. These include new institutions to give policy makers better insulation against sudden mass demands for new market restrictions. They also include the implementation of product disparagement laws and the creation of an easily accessible scientific database to reduce people’s dependence on popular perceptions for information on risks whose accurate measurement requires advanced scientific techniques.[9]

Romney will win in a landslide. In free and fair elections he’d win 45 states. Or would. Remember, we have to take the government’s word that your votes will be counted properly.
Ironically, it will be the poorest Americans who will suffer the most when our economy collapses and bread is ten dollars a loaf, gas is ten dollars a gallon and a day’s hard work at minimum wage won’t cover the bus trip.
They’ll be in the streets first. Somebody will have to Do Something About It. Obamee and the government will step in and we’ll complete the transition to socialist dictatorship.
Then the real revolution will begin. It will be bloody.

Unless Obama himself changes his stump speeches and the economy gets better, maybe he will poll better. But that is not going to happen this far into the campaign.
Obama was a fresh face in 2008, many, many things were different then.
Now, it is going to take boat loads of water to out the fire that the Americans have for this failed and dismal Obama’s lack of leadership.
