It’s an Obama World… Team O Spokesman Says Bankrupt Solyndra Is “Widely Praised as a Success”

It’s an Obama world.
Up is down. Losing is winning. Working is taking. And going bankrupt makes you a wild success.

Obama spokesman Lis Smith touted bankrupt Solyndra this week by saying the failed energy company that received federally backed loans has been “widely praised as successful and innovative.”

It was a success for Obama donor George Kaiser.
Emails revealed that investor Kaiser pushed for a loan to a solar energy company that later went bankrupt.
If that’s what you mean by success.

Praised by people who thought it would be a great idea to force banks under threat of lawsuits, regualations and protests to lower their loan standards for people who couldnt meet the previously used standards and couldnt pay them back.

President Obama has accused Mitt Romney of raking in profits from investing in companies that ship American jobs overseas, but according to his most recent financial disclosure, he and First Lady Michelle Obama have hundreds of thousands of dollars in a mutual fund that has large holdings in corporations that outsource jobs.

“(Romney) invested in companies that have been called ‘pioneers’ of outsourcing,” Obama said at a Saturday campaign event in Glen Allen, Va. “I don’t want a pioneer in outsourcing. I want some insourcing.”

But Obama’s own portfolio shows a willingness to invest in American corporations that have shifted employment overseas.

In his most recent financial disclosure from 2011, Obama and his wife reported having between $200,000 and $450,000 in the Vanguard 500 Index Fund, which invests in the largest U.S. corporations. According to a filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission, as of Sept. 30, 2011, the fund’s biggest holding was 8,272,039 shares of Apple Inc., then valued at $3.2 billion.

Instead of taxing the rich, let’s strip the assets of anyone who contributed to the Obama campaign and also profited from Solyndra and every other federally backed loan that can shown to be sub-prime. Then send those on both sides of the loans to jail at Sherriff Arpaio’s summer camp.
I suppose we’d catch some federal employees at the congressional level in that net.

Why did the American people vote for this man, who was so unqualified in every aspect, for the office of the president of the U.S.? Do the wealthy individuals who have corrupted the various depts. of government believe this country and its elected representatives will not demand recompensation and hopefully justice for american taxpayers if Romney wins in November? I believe if this issue is addressed by Mr. Romney, perhaps the average american business owner, american worker, and american taxpayer would begin to hope and believe that America can and will survive and succeed under his leadership.
