Crazy Talk… Obama: My Biggest Mistake Was “Not Being Able to Tell a Good Story” (Video)

In case you haven’t noticed… Libs always think it’s their communication that sucks.
They don’t want to admit it’s their policy that sucks.

Barack Obama told CBS News today that his biggest mistake was “not being able to tell a good story.”
We don’t need another story, Barack. We need jobs.

Barack Obama:

“The mistake of my first term, couple of years, was thinking that this job was just about getting the policy right. And, that’s important. But, the nature of this office is also to tell a story to the America people that gives them a sense of unity and purpose and optimism especially during tough times.”

More… Mahdi Al-Dajjal added:

This is really rich! This guy has spun a whole narrative around his entire life from who he is, where he was born, his political leanings and everthing in between up to the present. Making up stories is what he does!

No Barack, you’ve told plenty of stories. Dreams of My Father. All those fibs to the local crowds where you’re trying to talk like them. Tall tales like “If you like your health care plan, you’ll get to keep it,” or “ObamaCare will lower insurance costs” or “We’re tightening up the border” or “I’ll cut the deficit in half in my first term.”

No, the reality is that ALL YOU ARE IS STORIES.

Surely Barry heard it said in the 50th – and LAST – state —

    “Nevah min’ da story…”

  • Stan25

The whole Obama mystic has been nothing but a huge lie, since he started the political game. It is the state controlled media that made him what he is and covered up these lies for the last 20 years. The chickens have come home and are starting to roost and they are scared plumb to death and the stuff they have doing the last few months have proven this to be true. if the media had done its job to start with, there would be no Barack Obama in the White House, let alone in the public eye. He would be just another obscure Chicago gang banger trying to game the system.

Update: Mitt Romney responds in an official statement:

President Obama believes that millions of Americans have lost their homes, their jobs and their livelihood because he failed to tell a good story. Being president is not about telling stories. Being president is about leading, and President Obama has failed to lead. No wonder Americans are losing faith in his presidency.

  • Yrral Dleifsarb

Hmmm, so Zero says he paid attention to what needed doing rather than blabbering. For anybody who understands how to decode that liar’s tales, he is clearly admitting that he has done made no effort to help the country that barely elected him, preferring to tell stories instead.

I sincerely hope he loses in November by such a large margin that he feels compelled to shut his mouth, permanently. Maybe, unlike the ever-lingering Carter, he will be too ashamed to keep showing his smug mug. Can we hope he moves to another country?

This man has done nothing but tell stories – right from the beginning – all of which are lies. For the sake of the country could we please now vote into office a grown up – someone who actually has leadership experience. Someone who has actual experience in creating jobs in this country.

    That’s actually Comical.

Sense of Unity despite being the most devisive president in history. Race baiter and class warfare.

Sense of purpose despite adding 40% to welfare spending and despite millions more people on welfare, food stamps, disability, etc.

Sense of Optimism? Are you F’n kidding me. We are about to fall off a cliff and everyone but the idiot liberals knows it.

    Just posted on Drudge…

Late Thursday evening, Mitt Romney’s presidential campaign launched a new fundraising drive, ‘Meet The VP’ — just as Romney himself has narrowed the field of candidates to a handful, sources reveal.

And a surprise name is now near the top of the list: Former Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice!

The timing of the announcement is now set for ‘coming weeks’

I’ll tell ya a good story President Douchenozzle. In about four months we the people are going to boot you and your troop out of the WhiteHouse and then we’ll start to bring this country back together and undo the damage that you and your fellow commie fascists have done to it. You’re going to go down in the history books as the worst president of all time since the founding of our nation. Somewhere in his feeble little mind Jimmy Carter is telling you “Thanks for making me look so good”. I can’t wait to see the MSMer’s bawling their eyes out when election results come in on Nov. 4, 2012. Maybe they’ll do us all a favor and pull a Jonestown when reallity hits them square in the face.

Re #23 — thanks for the heads up….more from the article:

It was Condi who received two standing ovations at Romney’s Utah retreat a few weeks ago, and everyone left with her name on their lips.

Rice made an extended argument for American leadership in the world.

In recent days, she emailed supporters:

“2012 is perhaps a turning point for the United States.”

“The upcoming elections loom as one of the most important in my lifetime,” she warned. “I’m very often asked to speak about our current foreign policy and the challenges that lie before us. However, we, as a country, are not going to be able to address any of those international challenges unless we first get our domestic house in order.
I’ve thought Romney’s needed someone strong on foreign policy – especially if BO pulls something right before the election and wants to make MR look unprepared…she’d help on that score…

Let’s see, the car is in the ditch and the republicans want the keys back. that is a good one if we actually get them back!

  • not being able to tell a good story is not a mistake, its a liability. that statement he made is a good story because the story of his life that we have been told is a better fairy tale then anything the grimm brothers ever came up with. we don’t need a president that tells a good story we a president that tells the truth. the truth something that hasn’t been in the same area as obama in decades.

re: Romney VP = anyone anti-UN

  • NOW what is he talking about… telling stories is all this one-trick-pony has got

  • Robert

Another lie. He enacts liberal policies but has to try and speak in moderate terms. So he couldn’t really tell his “story” even if he wanted to, because then the rest of the Americans who are brain-dead and haven’t figured out what a hack he is would join the growing portion of the people who can see through his lies.

Plus, he could have gone golfing a whole lot less that he did. That would have given him plenty of time to concoct some real whoppers to tell the gullible rubes.

  • GP Fan

    Re: VP

Didn’t Mitt’s wife recently say something about a female VP? Maybe it is Condy. But she just said too, that there’s no way she would take the job. Was that just a ruse? Hmmm….

Or, he could tell his story and illustrate it with records, such as his travels to Pakistan and schooling and “higher education” [coug, cough], instead of hiding his past.

  • Flintstone F.

    One trick pony is right.

I for one find this statement to be one of the most vapid and disingenuous things he’s ever said. He doesn’t believe a word of it:

“But, the nature of this office is also to tell a story to the America people that gives them a sense of unity and purpose and optimism especially during tough times.”

    Unity: Get in their faces.
purpose: Maybe your mother can take a pain pill (she’s fulfilled her required purpose); and it’s above my pay grade (in response to a question about when life begins).
optimisim: We used to have the best stuff. We used to be the envy of the world…(comparing the US to China).

What a pleasure it was last night to meet Dinesh D’Souza and see his new film, 2016: Obama’s America. It premiered in Houston, Texas last night at the Edwards Marquee Stadium Theater.

The film is based on D’Souza’s New York Times Bestseller, The Roots of Obama’s Rage; and answers the question that no one has so far been able to adequately answer: Why is Obama doing what he’s doing, and how does he intend to accomplish his demolition/rebuilding of the Country we know?

We stood in a long line for a long time; but it didn’t take long for the theater to be packed with people who had been invited from all over Texas and beyond – not one empty seat when the lights dimmed. Yet, there was complete silence throughout the showing — Astounding.

If you do anything before election-day November 6th, see this film; take your friends.

If you don’t do anything at all and Obama is re-elected, you won’t know why and how the demise of America happened.

I’m sick and tired of you holes calling the President a fraud! Anyone who calls Obama a fraud is a racist!
No doubt about that. all these racists, who are you to play holier than thou? for the past three years you klansmans have done nothing but character Assassinated the President. You lied about his birth certificate, his religion, his family, his sexuality, etc. and you have the galls to call him a liar, yet you believe him when he saids he eats dogs and smokes weed!

Calling the POTUS a POS and a fraud seems to the the usual calling call for you right-wing racists and bigots like you!
It’s obvious you have NO faith Romney because he chooses the high road, so his black-hating supporters resort to fear-mongering lies and smears, which is ALL they have left!

obama is not a traitor nor a disgrace. he is not Communist, socialist, or marxist. he does not hate america. he is not racist. he is not muslim actually he is Christian. Obama does not have full control on our country, he is not a dictator.

Anyone who calls Obama a fraud and a POS is without doubt a disgusting racist, bigoted scum, and That’s a fact.

You people are sick. Calling Obama evil because he doesn’t think or look like you. Bush doesn’t think or look like me, But never have I thought of him as evil!

So Obama hates America so much he became president just to destroy it? Hates it so much he devotes his career to education and public service and running for political office? I’m not saying any of these things are intrinsically noble or admirable, but they certainly do not demonstrate a pattern of hate for one’s own country.

There isn’t a single sane, intelligent, rational, or reasonable person on earth who believes President Obama is gay, or that he’s a Muslim, or that he hasn’t provided his legitimate, valid, authentic, signed, sealed, and authentic birth certificate except the party of racist, bigots, extremists, homophobes, islamhpobic scum! Those are nothing but clueless, useless, worthless, and gutless lying pieces of teabagging. that hate having a black man as President! They are all that is wrong with America and their views don’t represent the majority of America, or even the majority of the Republican party
