Billy Graham Expressess Support for Chick-fil-A

Rev. Billy Graham expressed his support for Truett and Dan Cathy, the president of Chick-fil-A, and their stand for the Christian faith.
WND reported:

Rev. Billy Graham, at 93 the senior statesman among Christian leaders in America, says he’s rooting for his longtime friends, the Cathy family, in a nasty public blowup over their religious beliefs.

“I want to express my support for my good friends Truett Cathy and his son Dan Cathy, and for their strong stand for the Christian faith,” he said in a statement released by the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association.

“I’ve known their family for many years and have watched them grow Chick-fil-A into one of the best businesses in America while never compromising their values. Chick-fil-A serves each of its customers with excellence, and treats everyone like a neighbor. It’s easy to see why Chick-fil-A has become so popular across America,” he said.

Over the past few days, the Henson Co., creator of the Muppets characters, said it no longer would work with Chick-fil-A. The mayor of Boston publicly bashed the restaurant chain. Chicago officials said they would not want the company to operate in their wards. And “kiss-in” protests were announced in front of company outlets on college campuses.

Franklin Graham expressed his support for Governor Mike Huckabee and his call for a National Chick-fil-A Appreciation Day on Wednesday, August 1, to demonstrate support for the company.

EUGENE VOLOKH: Chicago Alderman: I Will Deny Business Permit Because ‘There Are Consequences for [Its Owner’s] Statements and Beliefs,’ and They Should Include Denial. “This is just appalling.” Well, it’s Chicago.

The Alderman should be glad the owners of Chik-Fil-A are forgiving Christian types. If I owned Chik-Fil-A, I’d file a lawsuit that would ruin him. And hire private investigators to look into his finances, because there’s only one way that ends for a Chicago Alderman. . . .

But I guess that’s why people like to pick on those forgiving Christian types. It’s safer.

The attack on Chick A Fil is yet another sign the rebirth of the Almighty Lord approaches near….Boston, Chicago, and now California….3 denials…harking back to the Trinity prophecy spoken at the Last Supper of Christ’s pending betrayal …”This very night, before the rooster crows, you will disown me three times”

As usual, Huckabee is a day late and a dollar short. I think people that despise the left immediately went out and starting supporting them right after the fit hit the shan. Went there yesterday and enjoyed my sammich and waffle fries.

if there’s a Tea Party in Northern Illinois then there will lines out the door every day 16/6 and will drain the store supplies every day until every other fast food franchise forces Deadfish to pull it back, a Republican is elected Mayor of Chicago, Maobama is perp-walked to jail… or, Kingdom Come-
    whichever comes first.

if I don’t see an endless line out of that one Chick-Fil-A location in Chicago starting tomorrow then I’ll know that we have no friends in the Most Corrupt State in America.

I’ve been surfing online greater than 3 hours nowadays, yet I never discovered any attention-grabbing article like yours. It is pretty worth enough for me. In my view, if all site owners and bloggers made excellent content as you did, the internet can be a lot more helpful than ever before.

It’s time for the center/right Majority of Americans to start boycotting turkeys like the mayor of Chicago aka Gangland.
Chick-fil-A should consider it a great compliment, when Mayor Dead Fish says Chick-fil-A’s values are not the values of the murder capitol of the USA.

How many people were shot dead in Chicago today?

Just another Obama diversion. He’d rather have the people talking about the president of Chick-Fil-A’s personal opinion on something than have them focused on the economy.

Wow, liberals admit corporations are people. I wish some enterprising reporter would ask one of these Chick-Fil-A hating liberals something like “so, you agree with Mitt Romney that corporations are people?” so we could watch their heads explode.

I know I’m going to take some heat, but here goes. I do support Chick-Fil-A and paid a visit there yesterday for the first time. I found their cole slaw to be very good. But my chicken strips. Not so much. Tasted like they were cooked in oil that had turned rancid and they weren’t crispy.

I suppose alot of people have not had southern fried chicken. You know, chicken fried in hot lard (nowadays we use Crisco) in a cast iron skillet.

I’ll give them another try Aug 1st, but if the results are the same it will be my last visit.
