It’s a big F***ing tax.

Governor Romney raised over $4 million in twenty hours following the Obamacaretax ruling yesterday by the Supreme Court.
The Hill reported, via Free Republic:
Mitt Romney’s presidential campaign has raised $4.2 million since the Supreme Court ruled President Obama’s healthcare law is constitutional.
Romney started raising funds immediately after the decision, and in a post on Twitter his campaign spokeswoman said he had raised $4.2 million from 42,000 donations.
“Fundraising update for #FullRepeal: 42k+ donations, $4.2 million raised online for @MittRomney since #scotus decision,” tweeted spokeswoman Andrea Saul.
Romney responded to the ruling by renewing his pledge to repeal the Affordable Care Act known as “Obamacare.”
He wrote in a fundraising email to supporters on Thursday: “Today, the Supreme Court upheld Obamacare. But regardless of what the Court said about the constitutionality of the law, Obamacare is bad medicine, it is bad policy, and when I’m president, the bad news of Obamacare will be over.”

Well this makes me feel a little better. Woke up this morning and was all depressed to realize yesterday wasn’t a bad dream, but real life…..

I pray that Romney can evict the Boy-King from the WH come Nov. and that the Republicans do fully repeal this freedom robbing bill. However, the precedent that allows congress to tax behavior will remain, and individual liberty has been lost.

Folks, is anyone else out there starting to chill just a bit with the realization that there is a lot more going on under the surface of this event, both legally and politically?

The Chief Justice’s Gambit
Obama Wins the Battle, Roberts Wins the War
I also do note that Roe v. Wade poisoned the well of Supreme Court authority for decades. Justified or not, I think Roberts saw that potential on the left, and, not without logic, simply noted that the 2011/12 Congress is NOT the one that passed ObamaCare by a damn sight, the 2013/14 Congress will not be either, and maybe he said, “this is for legislatures to decide, not this court.”
I will not try to defend the decision, I am not equipped to do so. But I would like to know if anyone out there who was pretty upset yesterday (like me) are now suddenly seeing some…. well…. eyebrow-raising things in the light of today.

This will probably be the biggest landslide in American
Politics. The communist/ progressive democrats have
Gone too far and the backlash
Will be phenomenal. Over 60 seats in the senate. 2/3 majority in house. Romney wins 40+ states.
Powder is dry

And maybe Roberts thinks this to, though that should not matter, but he and we do live in the real world? And if it does happen, this very ruling, which the left is dancing about, will hand conservatives some serious firepower in attacking the Commerce Clause, and enhancing States Rights. And what will the left do then… complain about THIS ruling??
Deeper game, anyone?

not upset, more like resigned to the fact that there is a game being
played, a game that no matter what “we the people” choose, seem
to have our choices made for US..

On November 6, we have to vote the Progressives out of the White House and the Senate and we must vote to gain even more control in the House. Every vote will count in this election and we must do everything we can to get people registered to vote and even provide transportation on election day. Soros and his useful idiots are going to do a lot of crooked things to ensure that Obama stays in the White House…after all, he’s not finished destroying America. We can and must stop them!

What’s wrong? So, I lied? Big deal!
I have doing that for 3.6 years and I have never been called on it! This is the first major lie that I have been caught.
Let me be clear, as your President I will continue to lie. I am the best liar this country has ever had. That’s a good thing… if you are one of my cronies. That’s why you should vote for me.
And, if am reelected I promise to continue to keep lying through the next four years. It’s an easy way to trick the stupid Taxpayers… and some stupid donors.

Just get everyone you know to vote for Romney and every republican they can. The Senate, the House and the white house. This has to be stop and soon.
Warthog commented:
So, now that this stands constitutional muster (a strange, drug-induced, Joker-like madness muster) how many Democrats will run for re-election on it?
I’m sure they will be charging forth to proclaim their pride in having produced this turd any minute now.
Any. Minute. Now.

Ann Coulter was right about Judas Roberts years ago…Maybe she is right about Romney. The RINOS like Jeb Bush seem a bit worried that maybe they don’t have Romney under their complete control .

I’d suggest you give up the USA as a bad job and move somewhere else, but, with the exception of Mexico and Turkey, every other industrialized country already has universal health care coverage so.. good luck with that.
By the way, the 21st century welcomes you, whether you like it or not.
MN Jim commented:
IMO, Justice Roberts caved to weeks of Democrat whining about Supreme Court partisanship and wanted to prove he was not partisan by being partisan. He will forever be known as the single person who could have stopped this bad law but didn’t.
