Vlad Putin took time yesterday to lecture Barack Obama on US policy.

The Weekly Standard reported, via Free Republic:

CBS reports that when Barack Obama and Vladimir Putin met with the press after their long private discussion, “The two men barely looked at each other. You could just feel, sort of, the tension between them. And the body language really represented how far apart the two leaders remain on the issue of Syria.”

“It is clear that President Obama did not get an agreement from Russian president Putin [on Syria],” CBS reports.

“And interestingly,” CBS adds, “Apparently President Obama got a bit of a lecture from Putin about some other failed transitions that are going on around the world.”

And then Obama bowed to him. (kidding)

    This didn’t happen over night. Internationally, Obama’s inexperience and intelligence was evident, now, it seals that little shadow of doubt.

    Obama made us look weak and what President would have but Putin in his place? Pretty much all of them, accept for Carter.

    I suspect that Putin’s frustration with the Obama administration is real: the Russians see Muslim terrorists as a genuine threat, and they would have seen both Mubarak and Assad as valuable checks against Islamist ambitions.

    Putin most likely views Obama as a dangerous, irresponsible fool.
