Scott Walker Up By 9 Points in Latest Wisconsin Poll

The latest We Ask America poll has Governor Scott Walker up nine points against Democrat candidate Tom Barrett.

We Ask America interviewed 1,219 likely Wisconsin voters who they plan to elect on June 5 for the poll.
Via HotAir:

While other polls also show Walker in the lead, no one is suggesting that this race is anywhere near over. Walker only leads among self-described Independent voters by 47.6%-44.6%, and the underlying numbers seem fluid. Still, some of Walker’s detractors have been vocal about the fact that Walker was duly elected in 2010 and in most states would not be able to be challenged with a recall without greater cause. And a whopping 95% of those called said they plan to vote in the June 5th election which will have the national spotlight on it.

The recall election is in three weeks.

    Q. When was the last time a DEMOCRAT ever called for a tax decrease in order (1) to decrease the size and reach of government and (2) to allow taxpayers to keep more of their own money?

    A. I don’t RECALL.

Great news so far, but keep in mind folks, Chicago is not that far from the Wisconsin border. Anyone reading this that lives in Wisconsin, keep your eyes out for the motor coach buses headed north on I-94 from Chicago to Wisconsin on June 5th.

I wouldn’t put anything past the Alinsky Unions, and the Jack Ass Party.

    Congratulations SW!!

damn shame it costs small fortunes to beat
our overly corrupted systems these days.. 😡

No one wants to talk about the negative effects of abandoning their responsibilities by fleeing the state, trashing the capital building, threatening law makers and counter demonstrators, and forcing the expense of two recall elections right after an election. Importing thugs from out of state to intimidate Wisconsin citizens more than likely just incensed them. Good ideas sell themselves without the use of force, no gang of thugs are needed.

When this is over and Walker wins, the democrap party and every union involved should be handed a bill for the full cost of this fiasco!

Turns out Wisconsin will save the nation – and I really believe this as much as Senator Paul Ryan (R-WI) does:

People in Wisconsin are ITCHING TO PULL THE LEVER for Walker on June 5 and then – they will come out in droves to pull the lever against Obama in November.

“June 5, that’s the day we save Wisconsin” Senator Paul Ryan said at the Wisconsin GOP Convention last week. “Nov 6, that’s the day Wisconsin saves America.

    Oh – yeah –

Last Thursday it was reported to a very few (you know how the Lamestream Media would NEVER tell the citizens this news) that in 18 months Governor Walker has turned a 3.6 billion deficit (that he inherited from the corrupt Dem Governor Doyle who had state employees on forced furloughs) into a state surplus.

End the era of false talker . Vote for Scott Walker.

  • Stan25

The DNC has refused to send a requested $500,000 to help the DemocRATs beat Scott Walker. I say to them — send it. That is less money they will have to spend on getting Barry re-elected. The unions are already feeling the money crunch from this endeavor and are starting to white from the bleeding, so there will be limited support from them.

#9 kathteach Paul Ryan isn’t a Senator. He is a Congressman.

I like Ryan but his vote is cancelled by fellow Wisconsonite Gwen Moore.

  • kathteach

Thanks Jay – I got all caught in my Paul Ryan love 🙂

And you are so right about Gwen Moore but thank God she has not earned the national attention of Ryan….

  • what worries me even more than the predictable effort to get rid of Walker are the five percent who can’t make up their mind…

    how fing stupid are they?

  • Patty

Hooray!! For Scott Walker, WAY TO GO! WISCONSIN.

  • TheDefLeprecon

WI and Walker still need help. Look up the WI Tea Party and IL Tea Party. They are asking for help out in WI during the final stretch of this battle. If you can travel there and help out let them know.

  • kato

I hope the remaining union workers in this country are watching where their money is going:

    1) left-wing politics

    2) huge salaries and benefits for union officials

  • Patty

Sorry Libs, the tea Party is alive and well. And here is more proof of it.

It’s a war, folks. Just like the one George Washington fought years ago.

Stand for Wisconsin or stand for the defeat of our great United States.

“June 5, that’s the day we save Wisconsin” Senator Paul Ryan said at the Wisconsin GOP Convention last week. “Nov 6, that’s the day Wisconsin saves America.

The problem is…..some of the people that kept their jobs in the last recall election in Wisconsin are being hit with still another recall, at least they were when we were in Wisconsin earlier this year. My guess is the unions and Democrats will keep running recall elections until they successfully win more of the voting slots. If they follow the pattern, even if Walker wins in June they will immediately begin another recall campaign and as long as the Democrats and judges are corrupt it will keep going on and on. It is costing the Wisconsin taxpayers a lot of money for this nonsense.

  • democraps suck

screw the unions…we will not pay for your bloated salaries or your health insurance or you pension…GO WALKER….this will be a great day for my state

  • KornKing

Sorry, I just gotta repeat my favorite in-depth retort to Walker’s record by the left:
“Walker has a spokesperson that used to work at Hooters”

Seriously, though, a good place to recover the expense of this garbage is to ask for increased pension contributions from the public sector unions.

this is good. *lol* it would cause a lot of demoralization to the liberals and soften them up
for 2012 if walker wins… and if republicans win in 2012… they could barely recover from such devasitation

I practically think most left that run the news will literally have a meltdowns live on the air and go absolutely nuckin futs… that someone like romney is president and lost to scott walker… they will probably commit suicide live on the air right in front of all their viewers.

All their dreams would be crushed for example…. like… they couldn’t raise taxes on the rich…. their green agenda would be instantly killed. romney would probably do the right thing like drill for oil on federal lands which would create jobs and lower regulations on coal plants which in turn would lower gas/electric prices. libs love the USA when it’s broken and on it’s knee’s. ….and whenever they go off on romney…

could bring up that romney inherited the mess he got from 0bama… *lol*
and he made things so sh*tty it’s probably going to take 80 yrs to clean up a situation that was bad… that he made worse.

Walker will win. I am a lifelong resident of WI, currently liveing between Green Bay and Appleton. The people who support Walker are too busy going to work to be heard. The people I know who support Barrett are married or related to Teachers, or other govt workers. And they support him in hushed tones-they know emotions and not facts are all they have.. My property taxes went down for the 1st time in 18 years. They usually go up about $100 per year. They went down in 2011. These protesters, who say it’s “for the children” shut the schools down for a few days during the protests. They trashed the Capitol, Capitol Square, and most did not even have decency or income to support the local hotels or businesses. Then they suck more of my money to start this recall.
I can conceal carry and protect myself and my family for the 1st time EVER since Walker became governor-as can the 105,000 of my fellow Wisconsinites who have recieved permites since November of 2011.
He will win,(as will his LG Rebecca Kleefisch) and when he does I hope he goes after welfare cheats, EBT fraud, and hits up the gubment employees for enough in addition givebacks to offset the cost of this nonsense.

  • union workers need to realize they are taxpayers. what good is getting more money in the left side of your pay stub if it goes out the right side to the politicans. most union leaders are politicans with a second job.

Politics isn’t about Dem vs Rep, or left vs. right, or Obama. We are all fellow Americans. Politics is about you and me, and what kind of country we want to have. We’re all hard-working people. I want all of us who work hard to have a shot at a good life and provide for our families. I’m a registered Republican, and I gotta say, I think we’re heading down a very dangerous road with Citizens United, when a billionaire has a bigger voice than you or I do. The Koch Brothers are billionaires behind Scott Walker, and they, and their buddies, can afford a hell of a lot more cash than you and I can to run ads that don’t serve our interests. Under Walker, Wisconsin had the worst job creation in the nation, and Walker is lying about that record. Why would he do that?

  • Robert Tucker

@Donna Grace. Donna, You may be a registered Republican but you are a conservative just like I’m a communist. NOT……………
