US Deploys World’s Most Advanced Fighter Jet 200 Miles From Iranian Border

By: Andrea Ryan

The U.S. is deploying F-22 Raptor fighter jets to the United Arab Emirates… Iran’s neighbor.  Does the Obama administration know something and they’re not telling us?  Are they guessing at Israel’s behavior and making sure they’re not blindsided?  Or, are they actually assisting an ally against the Iranian threat?

The Jerusalem Post reports,

The US has deployed several F-22 Raptor fighter jets to an allied base less than 320 kilometers (200 miles) from Iran, FOX news reported Friday. …

The US Air Force has strongly denied that this deployment represents a show of force against Iran or is in anyway related to a potential strike on Iran’s nuclear facilities, the report stated. Instead, the move is part of a route deployment and “security cooperation with regional partners.”

US officials told FOX that the jets were moved to hangars at the United Arab Emirates’ Al Dafra Air Base. The US Air Force declined to comment on the number of jets sent or their location.

In a written statement, Lt.Col. John Dorrian of the US Air Force public affairs stated that “the United States Air Force has deployed F-22s to Southwest Asia. Such deployments strengthen military-to-military relationships, promote sovereign and regional security, improve combined tactical air operations, and enhance interoperability of forces, equipment and procedures.”

Defense Industry Daily lists some of the Raptor’s capabilities:

The F-22’s combination of stealth, vectored thrust, range, advanced surveillance electronics with potential electronic warfare applications, and sustained supersonic flight (aka “supercruise”) arguably place it in a class by itself among the world’s combat aircraft.

Several F-22s can gather as much information as AWACS and JSTARS put together.  Call it whatever you want…F-22s are going to the Middle East.  The PR statement says that this is a normal practice.  It’s not.

And the Iranians have noticed.

This is not really to attack Iran. It’s to defend Iran against an attack from Israel.

Main question: With the on-station flag and other senior officers obey any orders to stop Israel ?

Guessing the answer is yes, because El Guapo, Sunstein, plus the rest of the Totalitarians have had several years to get rid of all the true patriots at the flag level.

This evil regime is out to stop Israel at all costs.

I understand that Netanyahu wants to go to early elections where his chances of getting a larger mandate is greater than ever. When Romney beats Comrade Hussein into a pulp in a landslide victory (pray hard), Israel will have a friend in the WH like no other, ever. (Romney and Netanyahu are friends and often consult together on issues.)

Why is everybody so cock sure Iran would try to attack Israel? They would probably fail and it would be utterly self-defeating and suicidal.

You know, they’ve threatened us too. And they have the means to attack us…

“Lockheed Martin continues its study on how to meet the threat of ship-launched ballistic missiles which could be delivered against a U.S. city from a ship or freighter a few hundred kilometers offshore, notes UPI. David Kier, Vice-President of Lockheed Martin’s Protection Division, is quoted as saying, “They don’t need intercontinental ballistic missile to attack us. An enemy could put a SCUD on a tramp steamer and launch it off the coast.” Kier’s remarks are similar to the warnings Donald Rumsfeld has made on a number of occasions.

It could be Bammy’s planning to hit Iran before Israel, or it is more likely to stop Israel’s attack. Or, using the F-22’s to collect more intel on Iran’s nuke facilities to pass to the Israelis to assist them in their attack.

My gut instincts tell me it’s to stop Israel. I hope to never see a time when US air power is turned against a strong, and true, ally. I hope to never see a time when our AF pilots attack a strong, and true, ally.

    Reasonable suspicion.

‘In a little noticed interview with the Daily Beast (…), Zbigniew Brzezinski suggests that Barack Obama do more than just refuse to support an Israeli strike on Iran’s nuclear sites — the American president must give the order to shoot down Israeli aircraft as they cross Iraqi airspace:

DB: How aggressive can Obama be in insisting to the Israelis that a military strike might be in America’s worst interest?

Brzezinski: We are not exactly impotent little babies. They have to fly over our airspace in Iraq. Are we just going to sit there and watch?

DB: What if they fly over anyway?

Brzezinski: Well, we have to be serious about denying them that right. That means a denial where you aren’t just saying it. If they fly over, you go up and confront them. They have the choice of turning back or not. No one wishes for this but it could be a Liberty in reverse.

Contrary to Brezinski’s half-hearted disclaimer that no one wishes for such an outcome, there are plenty on the left who would delight in a pitched battle between the United States and Israel. Democrats in Congress routinely support resolutions affirming Israel’s right to take whatever steps it deems necessary to assure its own national defense. And Obama has at least paid lip service to the concept. But hostility to Israel among the rank and file is very real on the left — and among “realists.”‘

Considering the infiltration of Muslim Brotherhood in the Hussein regime why should we be surprised if the U.S. prevents an Israeli attack on Iran by military force?

‘Based on recent events, it would seem many senior US officials believe the answer is no. Just this week, the Obama administration claimed that the War on Terror, a catch-all term for the series of post-9/11 conflicts between civilization and violent radical Islam, has come to an end.

But a new GBTV Documentary, “Rumors of War III: Target U.S.” shatters this claim. It makes the case that not only has the threat from radical Islam endured– it is in fact growing and more imminent with each passing day.

Many might wonder how this could be the case considering Bin Laden is dead, and Al Qaeda has been under continued pressure around the world.

As ROW III shows, the problem starts with America’s current conception of the radical Islamist enemy, stretches up to the most senior reaches of government, and has allowed a number of strategic– some even say existential– threats to magnify against the United States and its citizens.’

or do they want Iran to get a model airplane!

If Obama does use these aircraft to intercept and shoot down Israeli aircraft, then he needs to be IMPEACHED immediately and tried for treason!

Unless Israel attacks us or threatens us he has no right to interfere with an ally.

Hopefully these fighters are there to provide clean-up duty should Israel go-it-alone and take out Tehran’s Nuclear facilities. . .

Although if Israel was so good at espionage, I would have preferred the Mossad infiltrate Iran’s nuclear facilities and detonate the nuclear bombs to go off in their bunkers and silos. . . . wiping out a good piece of the Iranian republic with it.

Now wouldn’t that be a pleasant site. . a great big parking lot by the Iranians own making!

All I can say is “October Surprise” – Coming Soon to Theaters Near You.

Does anyone thing Obama would have won in 2008 without the September 18-October 30 massive crash on Wall Street?

Remember how Obama and McCain has\d to suspend their campaigns and fly to Washington to appear ‘presidential’?

Remember the reports from Democrats in the room where Obama took over the emergency meeting of Cabinet officials while McCain stayed holed up in his Senate office probably trying to get to the truth about what the friggin heck was going on?

Anyway – like I said – October surprise – this story is just part of setting the stage.

  • kathteach

BTW – I forgot to offer a bit of optimism. Do you all remember Jimmy Carter’s failed ‘October surprise” in Iran (an attempt to free the hostages) while Reagan trumped him as a challenger?

This 2012 campaign is textbook Reagan vs Carter – back in the day but study up. It’s textbook. Romney will be prepared in October for a counter-offensive that will probably make us all swarm to the ballot box to vote for him.

  • mg4us

And if Obama and his cohorts that collude with him give the orders to engage Israeli forces and shoot down, I hope our boys and girls that fly and who have sworn an oath to defend OUR Constitution find or fake excuses such as mechanical malfunctions and other reasons why planes cannot get off the ground. . . or if airborne, why they cannot engage or lock on target. . .

Now wouldn’t that be hilarious. .

And at same time, a group of patriotic officers apprehend Obama and his minions for treason and throw them in the briggs or Guantanamo until we can get a military trial convened.

  • Joe College

All Obama has to do is just get out of the way and let Israel protect itself, yet this is the last thing anyone expects to happen. It is not too much of an overstatement to say Israel’s fate is riding on the intent of someone who got his morals from Jeremiah Wright.

Obama had a chance once early in his first few months in office when Ahmadinejad stole the election, and instead Obama helped quell the uprising. Time is running out. Terrorist Plots, Hatched by the F.B.I.

THE United States has been narrowly saved from lethal terrorist plots in recent years — or so it has seemed. A would-be suicide bomber was intercepted on his way to the Capitol; a scheme to bomb synagogues and shoot Stinger missiles at military aircraft was developed by men in Newburgh, N.Y.; and a fanciful idea to fly explosive-laden model planes into the Pentagon and the Capitol was hatched in Massachusetts.

    But dramas were facilitated by the F.B.I., whose undercover agents and informers posed as terrorists offering a dummy missile, fake C-4 explosives, a disarmed suicide vest and rudimentary training. Suspects naïvely played their parts until they were arrested. {..}

Makor Rishon, a right-wing newspaper which is mostly available online outside Judea and Samaria, is running a war games scenario in Thursday’s editions. They have some pretty impressive participants. The premise is that the attack will take place on October 15-16, and that Obama will protest and then go silent. The scenarios include an attack downing an Israeli civilian jet liner, Israel deciding not to attack Lebanon or Gaza, despite being bombarded with missiles by Hezbullah, but the nuclear facilities are… well, all I can tell you is that there are pictures of them burning on CNN.

‘An official of the Iranian military said last week that the country’s navy has the ability to move a naval vessel within three miles of the East Coast of the United States.

Rear Admiral Ali Fadavi, speaking on Tuesday to students of the University of Yazd, Iran, at the anniversary of a failed U.S. military operation in April 24, 1980 (“Operation Eagle Claw”), said that ,“The power of our naval forces is such that we have a presence in all the waters of the world and, if needed, we can move to within three miles of New York.”

The U.S. launched “Operation Eagle Claw” in 1980 to rescue American hostages held captive at the U.S. Embassy in Tehran.

The top ranking naval officer added: “The Americans’ only tool to rule the world is their naval dominance of the Persian Gulf, and they will face any other power that threatens their status.”

Iran’s latest threats were apparently in response to the news that the United States has deployed advanced jet fighters only 200 miles from Iran’s mainland. Digital Journal reports that the U.S. deployed F-22 stealth fighters to an allied base close to Iran’s mainland. According to Digital Journal, “F-22 Raptors that have never been tested under combat conditions are now stationed at the Al Dafra Air Base in the United Arab Emirates… the U.S. has been quietly assembling a powerful air-to-air fighting team at bases near Iran. Before the F-22s were deployed, the Air Force deployed the Massachusetts Air National Guard’s 104th Fighter Wing, with 20 F-15Cs, to Southwest Asia.”

According to Jeff Babione, Lockheed Martin’s vice president for the F-22 program, the fighters could be used in “deep penetration strike missions in well-defended combat zones.”‘

Iranian Admiral: ‘We can move a vessel within three miles of NYC’

‘Iran has threatened the East Coast of the United States in a way that could mean that the mullahocracy has already deployed seemingly civilian cargo ships equipped with camouflaged (containerized) systems capable of launching nuclear-tipped missiles–in order to strike U.S. coastal cities or effectively destroy the U.S. in a surprise EMP attack.

The Iranian threat follows a North Korean EMP threat against the U.S. homeland.

A taboo question: Could Iran have bought one or more nuclear weapons from its proliferation partner, North Korea, including, possibly, primitive bombs and warheads and radiological (dirty) bombs?’

Besides using against Israel, look for one of these aircraft to end up in enemy hands in surprisingly good condition.

Re: get a grip: one hand on the mouse….one hand on the Miller High Life. 😀

I don’t visit Infowars, hardly ever anyway. Only, and rarely, when someone like Patty (bless her soul) frequently links to them.

And even if I did, it would be for the same reasons that Newsbusters.com watches television news, and for the same reason that President Jefferson owned a Quran.

Not for knowledge and enlightenment presented therein, but for knowledge and enlightenement based upon the God-lent spirit of truth and discernment, and the knowledge of what is being passed off by these sources (infowars, the news, the Quran) as truth. Know thine enemy.

  • Taqiyyotomist

    I would add: MEMRI TV.

Wow, they watch a lot of Pally television.

    For a good reason.

  • Ghost

Can anyone explain what is going on in that picture of the F-22?
I’ve seen diamond trails but never anything like that.
and, where did that picture come from?

good comment⬆ this must mean He’s going to give Iran another gift soon

  • Taqiyyotomist

That, Ghost, is an F-22 breaking the sound-barrier. A fraction of a second after it does, in fact.

Technology rocks — this photo demonstrates that, in quite a few ways.

Think we’ll ever break the light barrier?

With the grant-seeking, lying and manipulating and deceiving (to the end of “grant-seeking”) so-called “Science” today?

With the trillions of dollars we’ve wasted in the last 40 years, we could have done the Star Trek thing by now, and been most likely exploring distant galaxies by now.

    But no.

Andres Serrano needs our tax money for homoerotic art.

Government union workers who do nothing but spend other people’s money — and, to ice the cake, force other people to needlessly spend their money to comply with needless regulations that they make — need our tax money until they die, after they’ve double-dipped and evaded taxes altogether and committed insurance fraud and unemployment fraud and disability fraud.

Hollywood film companies need our tax money to make movies depicting our best, bravest people as sick, loathesome beasts.

Politicians need our tax money so that they can live like KINGS.

Treyvon’s culture needs our tax money so that they can live like protected savages, experiencing the luxury without the sweaty effort.

We could have had the Starship F**&ing Enterprise by now.

    Russia may already have one.

‘Rescue teams are searching for a fighter jet that went missing during a routine nighttime training mission out of Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson in Alaska. The Air Force pilot and his F-22 Raptor lost contact with air traffic control at 7:40 p.m. Tuesday evening.

Using HH-60 helicopters and an HC-130, the Alaska Air National Guard is searching an area northeast of Cantwell, Alaska, the last known location of the aircraft.

“Right now, our top priority is to try to bring the pilot home safely,” said Col. Jack McMullen, 3rd Wing commander. “We will continue to search until we find our pilot. Our thoughts and prayers are with the family of this missing Airman.”

The Air Force is withholding the name of the pilot until his condition is determined.

The F-22 is the military’s newest and most technologically advanced fighter. It’s a one-man, stealth supercruiser designed for air-to-air and air-to-ground missions. The Air Force has 137 of them in its fleet, each valued at roughly $143 million.’

Air Force Pilot and F-22 Fighter Missing

Can’t be too hard to defect with an advanced stealth jet fighter in the nighttime, just streak straight across the Bering Strait.

Possibly. There was a recent killing at a Coast Guard station in Alaska. Dunno if related to the F 22. Wouldn’t be hard to arrange for a jet to disappear to Russia if you’re the president and want to show appreciation for campaign money from the Russians.
