For the soul of the Democrat Party–
Cynthia McKinney will challenge Hank Johnson

Gee. It’s such a difficult pick. Who do you go with?… The anti-Semitic, anti-American Ahmadinejad-butt-kissing Truther… Or the kook who thinks Guam is a giant floating air mattress in the Pacific ready to capsize at any minute.

Democrat Cynthia McKinney, wearing a black veil, told attendees she was ashamed of her country’s policies at a May 2011 event in Tehran. (ISNA)

The voters in Georgia have a very difficult task ahead of them.
The AJC reported, via Free Republic:

Cynthia McKinney, a former congresswoman, ran for president as the Green Party candidate in 2008.

McKinney was defeated by 4th district incumbent Hank Johnson in 2006 after serving six terms in Congress and has kept a low profile since returning to Atlanta from the San Francisco area where she moved in 2007.

Tracked down at her mother’s home Thursday by a reporter from The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, McKinney declined to comment and ordered the reporter off the property.

Last week she was recruiting volunteers to collect the 18,860 signatures of registered voters she’ll need by August 6 to get on the newly redrawn 4th district ballot, according the Georgia Secretary of State’s office.

A lightning-rod political figure, McKinney, 55, was defeated in 2006 by Johnson after a much-publicized run-in with a U.S. Capitol police officer and her accusations that the Bush administration may have known beforehand about the 9/11 terrorist attacks.

In 2008 she won the Green Party nomination and ran for president. McKinney and running mate Rosa Clemente were on the ballot in 31 states, but not Georgia.

The party had hoped with McKinney’s name recognition to get at least 5% of the vote so the party would automatically be on the 2012 ballot in all 50 states. She got less than 1 percent of the vote.

Can’t wait to see who Pelosi endorses… Someone should make the race into a reality TV show – minus the reality. It would be a huge hit.

  2. It goes to show that in certain gerrymendered districts, the electorate will elect a horse’s ass, as long it’s black.

  3. So who is funding her campaign ?
A’Jad or leftover G-daffy family ? Or Zawahiri ? Or Muslim bros ?

  4. It’s the perfect storm of craziness!

  6. Greetings:

Actually, Rep. Johnson’s belief about Guam being a kind of floating lily pad is not all that uncommon. Back in the early ’70s, during my Psychology studying days, a joke went around the department asking students to draw a sketch of an island above and below the waterline. Quite a few submission went the lily pad route as opposed to the mountain top alternative.

The conclusion was that the lily padders had either a good relationship with their mothers or a bad one.

  7. I wish someone in the media will have the guts to ask the ugly slapper when did she convert to islam ?

  8. Someone should encourage Dennis Kucinich to also run in the race and we could behold a Loon Trifecta.

  9. Georgia might tip over

  10. Putting together a “reality” show on something like this would be quite the piece of cake; you wouldn’t have to employ any screenwriters or make up situations…it’s already there, and big time!! Too bad McKinney and Johnson don’t have the “deadly R” behind their names- it would be under production as we type.

  11. Can’t the rnc find a R to run in this district?

  12. The Georgia 4th District must be reserved as a holding area for imbeciles, if this pair is at all representative of the voters. Good grief. It would be hilarious, if not for the fact that one of those two stunningly stupid people will likely be sitting in the U. S. House for the next Congress.

[She talks about having read Gaddafi’s “Green Book” for “Direct
Democracy” (Socialism). Gaddafi’s “Green Book” was inspired by
Chairman Mao’s “Little Red Book.” McKinney says she was so
intrigued by the green book that she took it home to show her
fellow kooks. She would like to see America governed by a similar
    Commie book.

this sums it all up for me, but then again, i’ve been
doing non-stop research and sharing it since 9/11..

but hey, you have a computer, ergo,
surely you figure it out for yourself..

  14. Just wait for demands that the rules be changed so both can be elected. It’s only reasonable – combined they still don’t add up to a whole brain.

  15. To the extent that Representatives reflect their constituencies, this congressional district must be overflowing with retards and screwballs.

  16. #8- ROFL…

I can envision the CNN panel debate between the 3 candidates…Hank Johnson mentioning (in a spacy way) that Cynthia McKinney should not hold public office because of government vehicles’ fuel efficiency being sabotaged due to hauling McKinney’s weight in the back seat; McKinney goes after Johnson with a tire iron for this astute observation, and Dennis Kucinich gets between the two, urging them to “visualize peace”, and ends up in the fetal position as Cynthia whomps on him while Hank gets his notes back in order.

    The potential here is limitless.

  18. I putting my money on the crazy, insane, hate filled, racist negro. Oh, wait… they BOTH can’t win.

Hmmm…. A dilemma – how about the candidate who is illiterate and only has a 2 inch pecker? Yeah, that’s the one who’s going to win. Yup, Cynthia is going to win.

  19. if there are more blacks in the district then she we will…after all we know this isn’t about politics but about the color of your skin
