Hero Allen West: I’ve “Heard” 80 Democrats Are Members of the Communist Party (Actually the Number is 70, Not Counting Obama)

Allen West told an audience of mostly supporters this week that he heard that 80 democrats are members of the Communist Party.
The Huffington Post reported, via HotAir:
Actually, there’s 70, and they’re socialists, not exactly communists but you really can’t be sure.
The Socialist Party of America announced in their October 2009 newsletter that 70 Congressional democrats currently belong to their caucus.

Actually as a strategy that is perfect. You force the liberals to argue that Allen West is wrong and they are not communists but socialists. While correct the very argument itself will not resonate well with the average American and the admission that they are socialists comes from their own mouth. If he had accused them of being socialists they would have argued the definition of socialism until the cows came home and everyone lost interest.
Allen West knows how to make the enemy dance to his tune.
