Jesse Jackson Says Brewer Confrontation with Obama Was Racist (Video)

On Wednesday Barack Obama ambushed Governor Jan Brewer (R-AZ) at the Phoenix airport. But, to Obama’s surprise, the governor did not cower and lashed back at the thin-skinned president.

This weekend Jesse Jackson told supporters that Governor Jan Brewer’s behavior was racist.
Of course it was, Jesse.
Weasel Zippers posted video:

Jesse Jackson was not alone
The Politico has more on the incident:

Reaction to the Jan Brewer encounter is still bubbling, with some black commentators now suggesting the image of the Arizona governor wagging her finger at the President of the United States has touched a nerve in the African American community.

On MSNBC Thursday, Al Sharpton posited that Brewer’s treatment of President Obama was another example of disrespect in a list of many for the nation’s first black president. His guest, Sirius XM host Joe Madison, said such incidents show that there are people “who cannot stand the fact that this is an African-American who is now one of the most powerful individuals on the planet,” Mediaite reported.

An NAACP official went a few steps further in an interview with POLITICO Friday, saying the tiff played on age-old and discriminatory stereotypes of whites being superior to blacks. Hilary O. Shelton, senior vice president for advocacy and policy at the NAACP, said he was particularly disturbed by Brewer telling reporters afterward that she “felt a bit threatened if you will, in the attitude that he had.”

“What were you afraid he would do, steal your purse?” Shelton said.

Brewer has said she was taken aback when the president brought up the way she wrote about him in a recent book. She said when she met Obama on the tarmac, she asked for a meeting and he responded that she hadn’t treated him very cordially in the book, in which she wrote that the president was “patronizing” during a White House meeting.

Gee, who would have seen this coming?

Jesse Jackson is one of the worst racists in this country. barack hussein obama and Eric Holder too.

  • ar05075

Doesn’t this mumbling moron ever get tired of making a fool of himself???

  • Let’s see Brewer’s account was that Obama started the confrontation, so…….doesn’t that mean since Brewer is a woman that Obama is a sexist and because she is white and he is black that is racist? So isn’t Obama a sexist racist? Oh by the way he is a Marxist also.

  • Sara B

Just who is disrespecting whom? Obama is suing Gov. Brewer’s state over immigration enforcement, allowing his AG to weaponize the deadly Mexican drug cartels and working to oust Sheriff Joe Arpaio by undermining anything he does to keep Maricopa County safe. Yet he dares to get off Air Force One and tear into Brewer about a book published a year earlier. This president is a disgrace! It has nothing to do with race.

  • Carbon Pootprint

Judas Goat Jackson does it again. Sure wouldn’t want to be in his shoes when he has to answer for what he’s done in this life.

    Remember in November.

All the pharaoh’s (Obama) horses’ asses and racial racketeers:

It ain’t racist when it’s true.

I’m sick of being taxed and punished for 400 years of genocide and racism.

What I don’t understand is why Chinese and Arab kids, who don’t get into UC/Berkeley or Harvard because they need to meet their blacks quotas, also have get $crewed for 400 years of racism.

PS: I am not 400 years old.

“What were you afraid he would do, steal your purse?” Shelton said.

If Jesse “Never Had a Job” Jackson says it’s racism, we can be guaranteed that it isn’t. His stopped clock isn’t even right twice a day, since he tore the hands off long ago.

Sad that the phony racism canard is all the leftie cretins have left to use in their defense of The One.

  • apodoca

The irony of this all is that Obama was raised by his white relatives who must ave told him no at some point in time. I guess the spoke to his white half. If I were Brewer, I’d tell ’em I wasn’t talking to Barack the Magic Negro. I was talking to Barack the Thin-Skinned White Boy.

  • Rock

    Hey Jesse

Get over yourself you raciest fool.

This is absolutely and without question the language of serial sex abusers. Barack Obama engaged in what would immediately be investigated as a sexual harassment claim, were he a manager within any larger corporation with appropriately trained HR professionals. He was creating an inappropriate and intimidating, hostile work environment, was clearly showing a profound inability to respect others, and was using behavioral and language conduct that is deemed by most professionals to be unacceptable.

Barack would probably have been fired for that conduct. We know from numerous accounts that have leaked out from his administration that he is known to be quite hostile to women, diminishing them and not treating them with respect. That a serial sexual harasser like Jesse Jackson would not only defend a fellow creep, but also attack the victim, is further evidence that the Democratic party is one that serves solely to privilege powerful men “on the plantation.”

I worked with a former Omaha insurance executive some years ago who was a minority. I had to engage HR to intervene and consult with him due having one of my directs (a younger female employee) come to me and alert me that he was constantly putting his hands on her. After his intervention and warning (she didn’t want to pursue it further), he was caught again smacking a woman employee’s behind and unfortunately was caught by several witnesses. We later found this individual had been intimidating that same victim by telling her that her job was at risk but he could save it if she, a married woman, slept with him (also married). Not surprisingly, this same individual has run for Democratic office in another state and has been very involved at the state level with Obama’s campaign.

Serial sexual abusers and Obama. If you’re a woman who votes for these repugnant pigs, it really brings question to your intellectual credibility.

  • Multitude

and I should mention per my prior post that the relevance of the minority reference of the insurance executive is that when he was caught by witnesses, his defense was to accuse the young woman victim of being a racist and having verbally attacked him, called him various names, and made him respond irrationally “out of fear.”

Unfortunately for that pig, HR law doesn’t construct things that way. Furthermore, it’s far from credible when you’re a 40-something-year-old man and are whining and crying racism about a 20-something young woman.

Barack’s a pathetic whiny loser if he has to have serial sexual abusers defending him from being picked on by a woman, invoking the racism charge. Worse yet, it’s profound evidence that he is guilty of harassment.

  • nana

Here you go again, the race baiter Jesse Jackson, everything that comes out from this guy’s mouth is racist. It’s getting old.

  • Jenny

When you view the world through the filter of racism. All you can see is racism. Even when it’s not there, you see racism. The world would be a much better place if those who make a living off of a view of victim culture would find other work.

  • I agree, it probably was racist… on the part of President Obama, who’s shown he’s at best uncomfortable with whites.

  • KLD

Of course he does. That’s what Jackson and Sharpton do. Race-baiting. They are so entrenched in the power they’ve accumulated through hate mongering, so ingrained, they can do nothing else. They’re incapable of doing anything else. It would never dawn on them the ‘disrespect’ Obama garner’s is due to him himself. He inspire’s none.

How disrepsectful and racist is this comment: “Obama, you are the worst mistake this country has ever made. Also, you can kiss our collective a$$es!”

  • Dittogirl

When Martin Luther King spoke of judging a person not by the color of their skin, but of the quality of their character, they missed that part of applying it to all. It only applies to one side, which is why his wise words have never been fully implemented.

His vision did not imply a free ride, but a fair shake. It did not mean to take from others, to covet, but to work hard to create your own way. It did not mean reverse discrimination, which is what has happened.

  • olm

    OT but only slightly.
I am totally sick of this rhetoric out of Jackson and the collective left.

I believe that Obama became president with white and black votes. Governor Brewer has a special personality. She is animated and very emotional when it come to the work of the people of her state. She has done everything but kneel down to Obama for help on the border.

She does hold office and she has requested an audience and after months she received one where nothing of any weight was accomplished. She realizes the cost it has been to her public in which she represents. This is border problems not racial problems. And when NAACP, Jackson and Sharpton get something in their head the run with it in hopes that Obama will gain more votes in Arizona. Accomplish a repeal of Governor Brewer, or better yet for them, find an African American to take her place. That isn’t going to happen because way too many of the more civilized are on her side.

agitate Obama and you are racists. She has been as respectful as she can and many of Governors like Perry and Jindal have had the same patronizing attitude from the president.

To think a president of the United States has caused such a division in the Nations among Congress and among blacks who are calling those who oppose Obama racists.

We must vote Obama out of office because he has alienated not just our friends in other nations but the people of America.

  • Patty

US President Barack Obama admitted Thursday he second-guesses himself all the time and makes frequent mistakes but that experience had made him a better leader.

Obama defended his economic policies vigorously in an interview with ABC News and argued that America would have been much worse off had it not been for the steps he had taken to tackle the deepest recession in decades.

“I second-guess myself constantly … I make a mistake, you know, every hour, every day,” Obama said, laughing, in an interview conducted in Las Vegas with ABC News.

“There’re always things that you’re learning in the job. And I have no doubt that I’m a better president now than the day I took office just because you get more experience.

“But when you look at the broad outlines of what we did, had it not been for the steps we took, our economy would be profoundly weaker than we are right now,” Obama said.

    http://www.google.com/hostednews/afp/article/ALeqM5jEelA3lF3BH7jhiC3RvY4Q_P2ZqA?docId=CNG.daee7fd5cc7dc1ee1653519904dd6c51.e01

This is that shining moment where Obama has made some real mistakes. And may I suggest Holder is one of the best, also.

  • He ran out of MLK’s spirit so long ago that even he can’t see the forest from the dark hole he has dug for himself.

With that statement, I have now achieved racism status according to the book of Hypocracy in the Bible of Duplicity by Jesse Jackson.

  • Patty

“I second-guess myself constantly … I make a mistake, you know, every hour, every day,” Obama said, laughing, in an interview conducted in Las Vegas with ABC News.

Wow, some real insight there! Ya….second guess with Iran, Greece, Syria, Libya and Borders?

We have a real winner, don’t we? Just unbelievable on the Tarmac what did this fickled guy think would happen?

  • cloey

And when Jesse Jackson muttered, “I’d like to cut Obama’s nuts off” that wasn’t racist?

  • Connie

I think Rev. Jackson and Rev. Sharpton are given way too much air time to spout their racist rhetoric. Who really gives a damn what these two men have to say about anything. Naturally if a white person dares to say something about this half black President, they are going to come out of the woodwork and scream they are a racist. Excuse me, I don’t see this man as black, he is bi-racial. If someone is half white and half black, why is it they choose to say they are African-American instead of Irish-American, as he claims he is when it suits him. Why is it he tends to deny his white heritage and only recognizes his black heritage. He had two parents, I guess he is ashamed of his white blood. Shame on him, he should be proud of both, not try to hide the fact that he is half white. He only uses it when he needs to promote it for political purposes. This country has come a long way in accepting the fact that there mixed relationships and children of from those relationships, we should all be proud of that fact.

  • Militant Conservative

Yes it was, from Obama to Ms. Brewer. You sick POS.

  • Patty

Thinned skinned no reference to his black skin color.

Thinned skinned because he doesn’t take criticism well at all. Obama actions have proven time and time again that he cannot compromise with anyone who has different opinions in a mature manner.

He is indecisive and in a recent interview said those very words. He has his lackies to his dirty work for him. Whether he was surprised or taken back by confrontation of Brewer that really isn’t the matter at hand, it is his immaturity and for a president this is awful.

  • shibumi

Each and every White* person on the whole planet is RACIST.
    *(of European ancestry)
Their every word, deed, thought, or action, is either racist or potentially racist, especially regarding any interaction between a member of the White Race and a member of the ethnic group formally recognized as African American.
NO member of said group, African American, is a racist under any circumstances. All African Americans are victims of the White Racist Patriarchy, under all circumstances, at all times.

  • Annoyed In Illinois

For my entire adult life (I’m 61), the Chicago media has stuck a microphone and camera in Jackson’s face every time there’s ANY issue that even remotely borders on race.

They have NEVER called him out on anything. The closest anyone’s come to this was when he was in Decatur (Illinois) a few years ago defending some thug high school “student” and the media down there heard about how he and his entourage stiffed a restaurant by not paying for their dinner.

It snows in NE Illinois in January. It’s hot in late July. And Jackson is a liar, racist, and deadbeat dad.
