Horrible… DNC Chair Blames Tea Party for Tuscon Shooting

DNC Chair Debbie Wasserman Schultz blamed the GOP for the Tuscon shooting last January by a deranged Bush-hating commie.
FOX Nation has video:

Honestly, Debbie, could you be more hateful?

The Examiner reported, via Free Republic:

Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz, D-Fla., speaking in New Hampshire this morning, reminded her audience of the tragic Tucson shooting last year — and also insinuated that the Tea Party, which she said regards political opponents as “the enemy,” has enhanced divisiveness in Congress and had something to do with the shooting, at least indirectly.

“We need to make sure that we tone things down, particularly in light of the Tucson tragedy from a year ago, where my very good friend, Gabby Giffords — who is doing really well, by the way, — [was shot],” Wasserman Schultz, the Democratic National Committee chair said during a “Politics and Eggs” forum this morning. “The discourse in America, the discourse in Congress in particular . . . has really changed, I’ll tell you. I hesitate to place blame, but I have noticed it take a very precipitous turn towards edginess and lack of civility with the growth of the Tea Party movement.”

Having brought up the Giffords attack as a political cudgel, Wasserman Schultz doubled down on that attack. “You had town hall meetings that they tried to take over, and you saw some their conduct at those tea party meetings,” Wasserman Schultz said today. “When they come and disagree with you, you’re not just wrong, you’re the enemy.”

Warming to that theme, she added that “when they disagree with you on an issue, you’re not just wrong, you’re a liar.”

Wasserman Shultz is just an ugly American and clearly unworthy of her office.

  • squeaky

a couple of days ago fox interviewed an aide of giffords who was there that day and he addressed this issue for what it was – a mental health issue and a man who fell through the cracks of the system. no blaming Palin or the tea party. it was like a breath of fresh air. now if he can bear up under the punji sticks debbie will be inserting under his finger nails.

I hesitate to place blame, but everything that is wrong in the world is the result of you, you awful, right wing, radical, Tea Party, Christian, SOBs, who should be eradicated so we can live in a world of social justice guided by WE, your intellectual superiors, of which I am one, and don’t you forget about that buster.

She said “When they come and disagree with you, you’re not just wrong, you’re the enemy.” ,

Guess she forgot how WTF called for the Hispanic audience to help him defeat his enemies in the last election cycle, because they disagreed with his immigration stance. Lord even for a liberal tool she is one dumb cookie.

  • saveus

maybe she should read obummer’s campaign statement to his troops tellling them to bring guns to the campaign

Debbie Ding Bat, or Bat Sh!t Crazy Nancy, its getting really hard to believe liberal women have a IQ that exceeds 2 digits. No wonder their men are so frustrated.

Debbie Wasserman Schultz needs a check-up from the neck up.

  • she sees violence with the tea party where there was none. she sees no violence with the OWS movement where it is an everyday occurance. some people were “born to run,” debbie was “born to lie.”

  • Dan Roll

This is not a smart woman, and why the Democrats allow her to speak in public is beyond me. Does anyone take anything she says seriously? Perhaps she is just floating the DNC’s more outrageous trial gallons in hopes than one or more gain some altitude, even if they make her look like a dimwit.

  • Mad Hatter

No doubt about it, Debbie Wasserman Schultz is mentally ill. I hope she gets the professional treatment she needs.

  • Rose

The Dims have done that since the day it happened – regardless of the evidence that idiot was insane, but NOT Conservative in any way! He was just the forerunner of the OCCUPY Movement!

It will never be different with those Dim goons – they “must” have an excuse for the Hatred that burns in their souls.

The Left blaming The Right for violence without evidence is nothing new, neither is furthering their agenda over the bodies. Kennedy’s assassination was carried out by an avowed Marxist who supported Castro, yet it was blamed on the Right Wing. Johnson certainly didn’t let the crisis go to waste when he pushed the largest expansion of government since FDR.

[“Quite frankly, I admire the organization they’ve built up,” she told
Morning Joe host Joe Scarborough, adding that the protests are a
reflection of the frustration that has built up in the country.

The Tea Party was also started out of frustration with government
spending and over-reach, but Wasserman Schultz has yet to
acknowledge their right to be frustrated.]

  • SpideyTerry

Debbie once stated that unemployment hadn’t gone up since Obama became president. The fact that someone that can’t count said something so stupid is of no surprise.

  • Michyelle

Obama my hubby is stealing the Tea Party talking points. He claims that if you are not with him, you are like the British Red Coats and must be killed. Word from the Barak.

    Dan Roll,

Or if you like, canaries in the coal mine. The visuals of her going bug eyed as the air deteriorates is much more entertaining.

  • Where was the respect from Debbies party when her leader in the House marched thru a sea of Americans who were demanding to “Kill the Bill” and her buddy Nancy Pelosi, with her gavel in hand, march right thru, with a smug look on her face, walked in to the house chamber and passed a highly un-popular piece of legislation AGAINST the will of the people? Where was the civility then? The DNC brought it on. We aim to end it!

  • Alana

I was at four tea parties. I can’t tell you how horrible the behavior was. They totally trashed the place, refused to do as the police said, and intimidated anybody who walked by.

    Oh wait . . .

The Tea Party sure did traumatize the libs. Let some crowds of Conservative gather to seek conservative solutions, and they can’t get over it for years. The stupid astroturf “99%” is just their pathetic attempt to comfort themselves and restore the delusion that they’re the majority.
Maybe there should be a T’d Off Party rally or two before the election.

  • pjean

“Warming to that theme, she added that “when they disagree with you on an issue, you’re not just wrong, you’re a liar.” ”

And with liberals, conservatives who disagree are not only wrong, they’re evil.

  • Howard Dean -dress in drag……..Schultz just can’t except Loughner is one of their own……….how many times Loughner post his rantings over at Daily Kos………just sayin here

  • Ipso Facto

First, she’s right. They are the enemy and they are liars.

Second, I’m very disappointed the Tea party groups allow these continual characterizations of themselves as violent radicals and racists to go completely unaddressed. When you fail to counter attacks like this they begin to get traction with the public.

Why isn’t the Tea Party doing commercials that showcase good upstanding people as Tea Party constituents like the Mormon’s are doing?

  • USMC Thomas

    Bagdad Bob in drag.

  • I wish we could go backwards to when everyone had the right to their opinion, and no one was ridiculed for it. Now it just feels like ugly all the time with so many on both sides of the aisle getting into the act.

It needs to stop and it should start with our leaders. It would help if the President would act like he is the President of all of us and not just for the group of the day.

  • Joanne

Gabby Giffords au nauseum…..people actually lost their lives that day and one Republican man who threw himself in front of her, saved her life and lost his. You’d think they boast about this man’s great sacrifice, but who no – not those bloody democrats.

  • BurmaShave

Having brought up the Giffords attack as a political cudgel, Wasserman Schultz doubled down on that attack. “You had town hall meetings that they tried to take over, and you saw some their conduct at those tea party meetings,” Wasserman Schultz said today. “When they come and disagree with you, you’re not just wrong, you’re the enemy.”

Of course they were angry, you arrogant b!tch! You and your henchmen were trying to TAKE OVER THEIR LIVES!!!, which in fact you and your henchmen later managed to do in flagrant disregard for those citizens, by a combination of subterfuge, lies, and illegal parliamentary maneuvers.

Now we are beginning to learn how death panels are all over the place in this abomination called ObamaCare. BTW, if you are over seventy and need special brain surgery to prevent or reduce a a dangerous possibility of a stroke, you are not a person or a patient, according to ObamaCare, you are a “unit” and as a unit you will be entitled to receive aspirin and “comfort care” (marijuana?). As for surgery? Unit have no claim for such expensive treatment, which may or may not be available to younger persons.

    ObamaCare = Death Panels (Period)

Someday I hope Wasserman Schultz is tarred and feathered; and I hope I can get a ticket for the event. BTW, I say that with all due respect, not as an example of violent speech.

  • paul52

Really, I hope Dreary Debbie keeps her job for at least 10 more months. She is the FACE of the modern DimocRAT Party. Howard Dean in drag!

When you have no moral, ethical, religious or humane compass, you are capable of the most diabolical actions and opinions. Who, in his right mind, would want to intentionally consider Debbie Wasserman Schultz?

IF she is remembered at all, it will be in the form of an embarrassing and obscure footnote in the history of American politics. The woman is the epitome of all things deplorable.

Hateful Vitriolic woman!!! I got so angry after hearing that statement, who is the one throwing bombs and adding to negative discourse????

The apple doesn’t fall far from the tree.
Debbie’s mother, former Broward County Commissioner Diana Wasserman-Rubin, is scheduled for trial on May 14 for five felony counts of unlawful compensation.

Her stepfather, Richard Rubin, is serving a federal prison sentence for tax evasion.

For as miserable a person she is, she is a year late on those accusations. Obama blamed the Tea Party last year for the same damned thing at that political rally he held in Arizona after the shooting. It was a lie then and it is a lie today. This rhetoric from brain dead Democrats only fires up other brain dead Democrats. `

BHO said , very clearly, “if they bring a knife, you bring a gun”.

    So Lounger brought a gun.

Let’s not forget that several people lost their lives, a innocent child, and a GOP judge.

And Lounger is a proven left wing nut job.

And the Daily Kos also targeted Giffords as well.

Dad’s in prison, mom’s charged with several felonies.

Talking about projection, perception, surrounding reality, illusion, Sigmund Freud and Gustav Jung.

Mr. Freud was also keen to justify his approach to earthly (implicitly sexual) behaviour, while Mr. Jung decided to extend his research more to the collective consciousness approach and inherited mental genetics.

IMO, I think Deb deserves full treatment, from both schools.

Watch Debbie in an exchange with Gretchen Carlson recently – illustrating the DNC’s total lack of judgment in choosing her to represent the party:
