Finally We Know What Drove Insane Left-Wing Pothead Loughner to Violence: GEORGE BUSH

Finally, we know what drove Tucson shooter mad… GEORGE BUSH.
The Corner discovered this buried in a New York Times article, via Instapundit:
(This little nugget was hidden on page 3 of the online article.)

He became intrigued by antigovernment conspiracy theories, including that the Sept. 11 attacks were perpetrated by the government and that the country’s central banking system was enslaving its citizens. His anger would well up at the sight of President George W. Bush, or in discussing what he considered to be the nefarious designs of government.

And, yet the horrible leftists in the media plotted to blame this slaughter on the tea party and Sarah Palin?
What awful people.

The Tucson killer is an anti-Christian, anti-Constitution, left-wing, pro-Marx, antiflag, “quite liberal” lunatic who hated Bush. He had been targeting Rep. Gabrielle Giffords since 2007.
No wonder Obama called off the dogs at his Wednesday pep rally.

Loughner, like many on the left, are looking for an excuse to hate. They already hate. They just need a “reason” for it.

Sounds an awful lot like the Democrat base that support Obama, Pelosi, Frank, Reid, Boxer, etc….

Ok, its been a week since the shooting. We have gathered many facts, and eye witness accounts about the accused shooter. We have samples of his writings, videos, and interests.

Now we can start surmising what his intentions and/or motivations might have been….

… oh, wait? … there’s already 50,000 articles published about this? Did we jump to any conclusions, that have been shown to be wrong? I’m sure we’ll go back and correct anything that has been proven false, right?

I pray that nothing happens to Gov. Palin, her family and all the others targeted by these dishonest leftists.

Surely the movie Taxi Driver had significant influence on Jared . Whatever rank Taxi Driver holds in rating classic films, it should move up significantly into the top 5 . Citizen Kane is a great film, but it never moved history to the point of causing political assassinations . …. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bqLyTdcMLhc

Jim, you should “sticky” this post at the top of your page for the next week straight.

#3 Spider is right. The horses have left the barn. No amount of correction by the MSM will undo the damage their blood libel has done. These people are despicable. The complete moonbat lefty went insane and shot a right-of-center congresswoman who was directly, personally “targeted” by the Dems and DailyKos, and killed a judge who was about to rule against a key provision in Obamacare, and the MSM told the entire nation that he was a righty, influenced directly by Sarah Palin and the TEA Party movement.

They should all go broke, every “journalist” who contributed to this blood libel, every blogger, and every Democrat who added to the fire. They should be shunned by all of society for what they have done. Walter Duranty would be proud. A sickness is evident in our media that, in times past, has directly led to the murders of millions. Pray that the Left doesn’t once again succeed in their death-worshipping plans. Because this is their goal: to outdo Stalin, Pol Pot, Mao, and Hitler.

THEY ARE OFF TO A ROARING GOOD START.

They’ll probably receive Pulitzers for this sick, demonic behavior. Maybe even Nobels.

To apply liberal logic (oxymoronic as that is), every 9/11 truther and their brazenly anti-Bush/anti-America rhetoric is effectively responsible for what happened in Tucson.

Gee, is it any coincidence that the more we learn about Loughner, the less we see of the story in the news? Interesting. About as interesting as all those polls about who was responsible that show that once again liberals found a way to screw themselves over.

  • Drider

I said it once and I’ll say it again. When Obama said that “We need to do better”.He was talking to his minions about their targeting problems. And now I’m quite certain you could apply his comment above to Fuller and Fuller’s premature flame out.

On a more serious side of things.Does anyone here believe that if Obama had his way and put together a civilian security force that was funded, as he said, to match the funding of our military, that such a force would be such a wonderful idea?
The “black ops” that such a force would partake in would be on par with the death squads of Colombia and us right thinking Americans would no doubt be the drug lords who needed to be extinguished with extreme prejudice one way or another.
Hell, look what happened to Scooter Libby without the civilian defense force. He was pretty much thrown in jail for his political views alone.

    RE: ” The ____ _____ is an anti-Christian, anti-Constitution, left-wing, pro-Marx, antiflag, “quite liberal” lunatic who hates Bush. ”

are we talking about obama, his cohorts, his base, his appointees….

almost seems to me as if the loughner story had already been written by the lame stream media, they were just waiting for a name to insert into the headline. one person decides, one voice dictates, welcome America to freedom of the press.

liberalism has never saved a life. the second amendment does everyday.

  • CV1

If the libs can spin this story, they can spin anything.

  • squeaky

hmmm? and just who helped to foster this type of thinking? jared is the end result of their rhetoric. victory at any price has its drawbacks. you can’t control how people react to your speech, but when your talk is hypothetical and some person takes it literally……some people can’t separate fact from fiction. and once again, no dialogue on the mental health care system in this country?

  • Diane Valencen

The clear and reasonable answer to why Loughner committed these crimes is because he is either a) evil or b) insane.

I would have vented my tiny spleen on every conservative in the world had his home been filled with Palin posters but this is not the case. What this does display is that when a conservative does do violence against innocent people you will all apply the “No true Scotsman” test to the event and back away from their actions as you always do. If conservatives were going to revilt in America somewhere other than the ballot box they might need their “powder dry” otherwise all the gun and ammo buying is the knee jerk reaction of a race of people who have been so condition to fear for their stuff that they risk suicide from fear of death.

Today it’s Loughner a liberal pot smokin anti-government loon tomorrow it’s your conservative neighbor who’s ashamed he’s about to lose his house and two SUVs. Pot meet kettle in the debate over what the Right really fears.

Have fun working today folks I’m on my way to Vegas!

A little OT but the MSM spinning the news is nothing new.
The lefties kept THIS lie alive, circulating and spinning deciet for forty years after the fact about the JFK assassination. More outright lie than spin.
Can you guess or know where it was started?
If you guessed or said from Dan Rather you’d be correct. Old Dan has a lot more than lieing about W’s military service to atone for. He was always second best in his mind so he LIED harder.

Are you sure his web browser didn’t contribute just a little bit to him going off the deep end, especially if he is a Mozilla Firefox user? On my (favorite) browser Firefox ver. 3.16 I have this button at the top between Forward and Stop that says ‘Reload’. Does anyone know someone in the left wing media that uses this browser? If so will they give it up due to its connotation. Hey the left wing radicals are blaming conservatives and guns so why not blame a browser too! Oh wait…it just hit me the word Fire is in the name of that browser.

  • Diane Valencen

    @ Chisum

Just drivel free honesty. Loughner seems like a mentally ill liberal conspiracy nut to me. But I’m not a psychologist. When someone from the Right commits a heinous crime in the future how many of you are going to be willing to admit that the partisan divide is causing more harm than good? I’ll pass on the powder thank you.

  • daryl

After listening to the lefties on 60 Minutes describe how the Secret Service keeps their “persons of interest” lists and where they acquire the info that places a name on it, I’d recommend that Diane get a visit from them soon. Some of her posts here, not to mention the ones on that screwy site she’s from definitely contains some of the qualifiers described on last night’s show.

  • Drider

I’m not feeling the logic on how tomorrow the nut jobs will be the “conservative who looses his house and two SUV’s” Diane.
In fact I think that for the most part, the conservatives are the ones who keep up on their payments and tamper down the fun stuff so they “keep” the house and two SUV’s.

Diane, are there people out there who are coming to take the conservatives house and two SUV’s, many think so, hence the guns and ammo. And no, I wouldn’t for a second offer a hand of civility to those of whom I cannot stand, who have over the years, up to and including today, done their level best to demonize those who won’t sallow their ideological garbage.

  • Chisum

Today it’s Loughner a liberal pot smokin anti-government loon tomorrow it’s your conservative neighbor who’s ashamed he’s about to lose his house and two SUVs. Pot meet kettle in the debate over what the Right really fears.

    Diane Valencen

You wear your disappointment on your sleeve. Disappointment that Loughner wasn’t a “right wing nut”. How sad for you.

Your statement is drivel. I’ll tell you why. I can take the phrase conservative neighbor and substitute gay, independent, communist, marxist, etc. neighbor. Sadly, they would still be dead. But for you their ideology is the only thing that matters. And how you can spin it to your political advantage. How you can make it fit your twisted meme.

Speaking from the right, I would be interested in the truth of their deaths and what I could do to prevent such tragedy in the future. I don’t fear truth.

But not you, Diane. You would rather stand by and sneer.

  • Chisum

    Drider,

Logic is not Diane Valencen’s strong point.

She delights in making moral equivalences that are neither moral nor equivalences.

But she shoulders on. Oblivious to how she appears to the rest of the world. Oblivious to the fact that she exposes her lack of moral and journalistic clarity with every word she types.

  • Ms.Vine

I wish everyone would stop blaming political parties and views on this horrific crime. It’s simple who failed this idiot….

1st….his own parents contributed poor upbringing….sheltered in their own world. Where is the responsibility of parental upbringing and getting their son help long ago?

2nd….The college he was asked to leave from….campus police had enough reports that they should have forwarded these outbursts and behavior to local authorities and the government.

“tomorrow it’s your conservative neighbor who’s ashamed he’s about to lose his house and two SUVs….”

Diane … it WASN’T a conservative, and to date, it NEVER HAS been a conservative. By DEFINITION, conservatives don’t do things like this. That’s a typical left-wing tactic you’ve used, but it isn’t going to fly here, because unlike you, we use logic and common sense to analyze situations like this. You live in an agenda-driven fantasy world, just like most liberals. When your fantasy, and your insistence on promoting it, prompts some other nut case to act out, will you be willing to take responsibility for it? I doubt it.

    Wonderful logic, you idiot …

  • Drider

Ms. Vine , who would you blame for his reading preferences?

For an American to have the communist manifesto amongst his favorite reading material, I believe a catalyst of what set this nut job off is being purposely ignored.
L’il Ivan was not forced to have a mental exam, even after multiple death threats, like the other l’il Ivan is for making his death threat to the innocent Tea Party fellow the other day.
Maybe if sheriff “I got your back Obama” Dipstik had done his job, this tragic event may never have happened.
It is more than the ideology that this l’il Ivan seemed to be invested in that caused this violence. it was that his actions we’re ignored and allowed to fester, he was given a free ticket to harass citizens until it ultimately ended in a very bad way.

  • Guy in Ohio

And Diane, the “partisan divide” is the ONLY thing keeping this country from collapsing into the abyss of Socialism …

You are such a fool …

You just don’t get it do you? If you and your comrades “succeed”, you lose. We all lose. It’s a shame you’re too blind to see that.

In that article they twice mention his believe in our illegal currency not being backed by silver and gold as a ‘right-wing extremist’ belief. They do this twice in the article. Yet when they discuss his anger at GWB they do not associate this as being typical ‘left wing’ behavior for the last decade… a belief still advanced by the Democrats.

“No wonder Obama called off the dogs at his Wednesday pep rally.”

If this had happened a year ago, Obama would have run with the big lie and unjustifiably put the blame on right-wing rhetoric.

But Obama is looking at the polls, especially that poll last November, and realizes the country isn’t enamored with a liar-in-chief who also happens to be incompetent and arrogant.

It is clear the violence is from the left. I state again, Powder is dry means a state readiness not anger. I agree with one item, murder is by definition either evil or just plain nuts. We the People that enjoy our 2nd amendment rights dispite the lefts best attempts to disarm us are the only thing standing between dictatorship of an oppressive government.

When the right fears the government you get November elections results.
When government respects the people she governs there is freedom.

Right now the government IS the problem.

That early black and white picture of Jared sure looks like the face of Sherrif Dupnick. Accounts of Jared’s life show a boy that was completely shunned by his father, a sign of illegitimacy. Paternity testing is in order.

  • Militant Conservative

Donh, Ginger made that same connection and I must admit the two do look similar. I like your idea paternity test the two. Would explain alot.

    powder is dry.

  • RickS

Could there possibly a greater beclowning of the Left than this incident. First, the Left starts off with the twisted tactic of trying to politicize it within minutes of it happening. Then it turns out they used the same “targeting” metaphors that Sarah Palin used and specifically against Giffords. Then Loughner turns out to be a total nut job with far-Left leanings. Then the death threats from their side start. Then their hero makes death threats against the Tucson Tea party leader. The Left totally pwnd themselves. Now suffer vile Libtards.

  • Patrick Glenn

donh and Militant Conservative: the resemblence is pretty amusing. If we were progressives/liberals, we’d cynically pretend to take it seriously and LITERALLY start stalking Dupnik with demands that he take a paternity test, in the mode of Andrew Sullivan and his ilk – we wouldn’t just joke about it. But, then, if we acted/thought like that, we’d be “progressives.” Darn ethics!

Sorry, if that’s the point Ginger aldready made.

  • donh

Yes I should have credited Ginger . Its more than just the resemblance. Its the way the father treated the boy, and the mother working at Park & Recreation. An impromptu lunch time break with Dupnick in the back office is the kind of unprotected encounter that can result in a pregnancy unless the liberals have a policy of handing out free condoms at the Park office. Maybe Amy wanted a child and the husband just couldn’t deliver.

  • Radegunda

Diane V., when Dems complain about the “partisan divide,” what they mean is “people opposing leftist policies.” They love nice nonpartisan places like San Francisco, where it takes courage to reveal oneself as not another crazy leftist.

The incompetent boob Sheriff Dupnik spoke for all the Dem-left when he insinuated that elected representatives who vote against the leftist agenda in Congress had something to do with causing the massacre. Y’all are nostalgic for the time when Democrat/leftists had a 40-year lock on Congress and ALL the mass media were controlled by the Dem-left.

Since the 1990s, Democrats have been OUTRAGED that non-leftists now have a public voice, and that non-leftists sometimes have electoral power to stop their destructive policies. Y’all need to grow up and learn something about real civility and tolerance.

  • Pat the First

Once a lie is repeated three times, it unfortunately becomes the truth. I am not sure that MSM will run with the truth. It makes them look like idiots. However, if the people do take all of this to heart, this could really damage the left/Dems along with the MSM. Crying wolf only diminishes the crier’s integrity.

It is worth noting that BDS (Bush Derangement Syndrome) is the result of prolonged and intense uncivil – and let’s face it, incendiary – discourse coming from the Left. The Left has a great deal to take stock of, especially if they posit that “uncivil discourse” has adverse consequences.
